I'd like to start by saying that while I haven't visited the physical building, I was referred here…read moreby my doctor to work with a dietitian to help me lose weight and improve my health. This isn't something I ever would have considered earlier in my life--not for any particular reason, I just wouldn't have done it. However, for the past four months, I have been working with Dennis Bueso, MA, RD (Clinical/Sports Dietitian), and the experience has been nothing like I expected. Being very overweight, I anticipated someone taking charge of the conversation and lecturing me on what I 'better' start doing. I think TV gave me a twisted idea of how these things go. Thankfully, it hasn't been like that at all. Our conversations are excellent and open. Mr. Bueso is incredibly 'chill' and immediately sets you at ease; it feels like a normal, back-and-forth conversation between two people. He is great at following up and is just a genuinely easy person to talk to. Since starting, I've seen amazing results. For those who know what A1C is, mine had been double what it should be for over five years. In just four months, I've brought it down to exactly where it's supposed to be. I give myself credit for controlling my diet, but Dennis has been instrumental in helping me understand what to watch and work on. In addition to the blood work, I've lost over 30 pounds in that same timeframe. I definitely want to give props and thanks to Mr. Bueso. If your doctor has recommended a dietitian, just do it. I worried about how it would go, but those worries were unnecessary. It has been a great experience. We only get one shot at life; I may have started this battle late, but I'm determined to battle to the end. Thank you if you read all my ramblings. :) Thank you again Dennis. Tim

This is a nice facility. Its clean and pretty open inside. The staff is friendly. They also give you exercises that you can do at home. I went for the dry needling, but found out my insurance doesn't cover it, but you have the option to pay out of pocket. The room is wide open so it will be several other patients getting worked on at the same time. They do have some private rooms. You're given several exercises to build your strength back up in whatever area you have issues with, and they also incorporate some massage, and heating pads into your treatment. It's about an hour visit, and you're in and out. Wear something comfy. I have used them in the past as well and think its a nice office to use for your therapeutic needs. Check them out!!

He started working on the patient and minutes later you can see a big change towards the foot. They were almost even, and they walked better than when they came in. I recommend him if you need some adjustments. We all know Chiropractors are mostly not covered by insurance, so expect to pay for service.

I have been a patient of Dr. Py's since February 2021 and it has changed the way I live my life. I…read moresuffer from severe pain in my neck and back that has made working at a desk and sleeping insufferable. I have been to several chiropractors in recent years in hopes of alleviating the pain, but none of them have done for me what Dr. Py has. Dr. Py is knowledgable in the traditional methods of chiropractic care, but has expanded on those methods, through years of additional study and has created his own way of manipulating the spine that is safer, painless, and precision-tailored to the needs of each individual client. There is no "neck snapping" or painful "neck wrenching" --that is associated with so many chiropractors that it has become a stereotype of chiropractic care. His method is thorough and for the first time in many years, I feel relief from the chronic conditions that ail my neck and back. I have never written a review before, but I decided to come write one here because being treated by Dr. Py has genuinely improved my day to day life and I am being relieved of pain that I had come to accept as an inescapable addition to my thirties. I recommend him to any person in need of regular chiropractic care or any persons who are interested in first time chiropractic care, but are scared of the "neck wrenching" technique that is employed by so many other chiropractors.

While doing them I didn't feel what I was supposed to feel while practicing. I asked the therapist what the problem might be and she interrupted her conversion with a co-worker long enough to tell me she didn't know. Then she terminated the session early and told me she would give me the exercises to practice at home. Needless to say I haven't been back. I see no need wasting money on a disinterested individual.

I just relocated from another state (where a physician's order is not required for physical therapy), and wanted to understand the process here in Virginia. I wanted to know if the Dr referral was an office thing, or a state law, and then the lectures and VERY insulting tone started! I don't have a regular medical Dr here yet, and needed some advice on who to see, they wouldn't even tell me that; they told me I just need to find someone on my own, and then was informed to not call them back because they wouldn't be able to help me. PLEASE NOTE: if you need a PT here in Virginia, you must see a Dr first. Then, do NOT see these guys, there are many others in the area that I'm sure will be much more friendly and willing to help you when you're in pain.
