Avoid this place under all circumstances! They lied to me about their servicing and they did it more than once. I expressed concern about their failure to correctly do a very minor electrical repair job. So, as a result of this they red marked my name in their files, as means to avoid helping me in this one capacity of the future. Then, I needed a similar repair they lied to me saying they couldn't do it because they currently did not have an electrical technician, which was not true. When I pressed the issue further, they then changed their story to another dishonest reply. Please know I had gone to this place for the last ten years or more and everything was fine. However, I believe the original owner retired giving the businesses to his sons. And simply put, they can't always get the job done and evidently, at least in my case they cannot be honest. I feel what they did to me was a wrong business practice. You don't lie to your customers and also label them as trouble makers and expect to continue business with them. In short, I can't trust them so I won't do my car business with them. Anybody in the Wausau area has to better than these guys! read more

The staff makes the process from the moment you enter the buliding easy and understandable. The staff is respectful and pleasant. Recently I had a flat tire on my Toyota Prius. They checked it over, couldn't find any problem that stood out. Schierl Tire kept the car overnight to be able to test if the tire lost pressure over night. The gal who was helping us went above and beyond and ordered 2 front tires just in case we needed them because they were an odd size that they didn't carry. It saved us time and made the process stress free!!! She said she'd rather order the tires and have them if we needed them....that she could always return them. Now THAT'S customer service!! My appointment was for 1 pm, dropped off my truck then, was told about 90 minutes. Came back at 3pm, my truck never moved. Told be done by 5pm. Came back at 5 pm, wasnt done yet. 5:30 told me my truck was done but needed alignment done, but cant do it tonight cause they were closing. Great service! We were in a pinch- flat tire on a trip out of town. They were in the right place at the right time and could have easily taken advantage of our situation. Rather, they looked at our car first thing in the morning and had our tire patched and ready within 30 minutes! It was a Friday of Memorial Day weekend, and of course I get a flat tire I my way to Northern Wisconsin to celebrate with family. AAA comes to change the tire while I'm busy calling all of the local tire locations in the area. All of them tell me they close at 5:00 PM. (not enough time for me to get there) Except one: Laurie Andreas of Schierl Tire in Weston Wisconsin tells me "We will stay open and wait for you" WHAT??? Unbelievable. Took my third vehicle to Schierl Tire for a set of tires in the last year and a half. Paid right around $1000.00 for each set of tires, this set happened to be a little more than that. Today they informed me that my Toyota Highlander need an adjustment on the toe setting of the drivers side front tire. Anyone who knows anything at all, knows that is a simple adjustment by breaking loose the jamb nut on the tie-rod end, spin the tie-rod a small amount until the alignment machine tells the technician that it is within the adjustment allowance. Most likely about one revolution or so, then re-tighten the jamb nut. He informed me that it would be $79.95 plus tax for the simple adjustment that would not take more than two minutes. I told them not to make the adjustment and just take the car off of the rack. it is basically extortion for people who don't know what it really takes to make the adjustments. I will find another tire supplier that appreciates my business. read more
