I did a fair amount of additional research and then went to Olson. They provided four great options. All would need to be ordered and would arrive within 3-4 days. I also went to a big chain tire store. The chain provided two of the same options that Olson had. Olson was way less than the dealer (of course) and their price for the exact same tire was less than the chain tire store, as well. Brought the car in today. Received a loaner. They found an issue with the tire pressure monitor (which has been an issue with my car). They diagnosed it and tried a couple of things. It appears to be fixed. The diagnosis and "fix" did not cost a thing. The best place in Wausau for tires and auto service. Also, their body shop is top notch!

The best plan I could come up with was to drive a mile to a dealership near Menard, check their inventory, get recommendations on mechanics in the area, and buy a clean, AWD vehicle. SelectAUTO came up as highly recommended, though they are located in Weston. I requested that they send a wrecker, which they did, and I sailed away in a 2017 Ford Escape. Mike Molitor, the manager, is extra nice, very helpful. It took 10 days to assemble the parts and get them installed. While they were at it, they adjusted and cleaned my brakes. Nicely done! There was only one checkout with a cashier open that had an extremely long line. While not a fan of self checkout, there were many registers open for that. Exiting the store appears to be AI enhanced as no human asked for a receipt when exiting. Just an average shopping experience lacking the human touch.
