I decided to go along with that plan, Im not a dentist so I trusted them. I get the temporary and for the next 2 weeks Im in growing pain. As each day goes by the pain is worse. The whole right side of my jaw/face is throbbing/shooting pain. It woke me out of my sleep 3 days in a row. I call and complain and they tell me pain after the crown is normal to take some ibuprofen and wait until my next appointment to get the permanent crown. So I wait, 4000mg of ibuprofen per day... I go to my final appointment and complain AGAIN about the severe pain I've been having. They have sympathy for me to my face, then proceed to remove the temporary and place the permanent crown with ZERO numbing, as Im sitting in the chair crying and pulling away from the dentist... You would think if a customer is ALREADY in pain that you would cater to them and numb the area before causing them more pain.. but I guess not. Ive had surgeries + a gallbladder attack just in the past year of my life so id like to say I have a good idea of pain.. so I know I wasn't being a baby about the level of pain I was in. I will never be returning to this location and I pray none of you consider going here.

It was recommended I make an appointment to get a crown (all this was new to me as the only issue I've ever had was a couple of cavities as a kid). The hygienist gave me a goodie bag of toothpaste and sent me on my way - without a cleaning. I asked why I wasn't getting a cleaning and she said she ran out of time and they would schedule a cleaning for me AFTER I get a crown. An annual cleaning (much needed due to covid) was being held hostage until I had a crown put in. I shared how unhappy I was with them and never went back. Thanks to Abington, I now get pretty anxious when I have to go to the dentist. Thanks for that. Response to the note left by manager: Wow! The fact that you cannot find me as a patient is not surprising as poorly as this office is run. And yes, I live in MA, and I have left the right review for the right place (although it did take some effort since there is more than one location). I made my displeasure with the situation very clear both in person after the visit and over the phone when they tried to schedule a follow-up appt.

I need a lot of dental work. During my visit I received more information about how to best take care of my teeth and the series of procedures I require to bring my teeth back to health. Everything (everything!) was explained in great detail. Not just what I need but exactly why and how.
