*UPDATE* The complete story is in the reviews below. My daughter was seen at Advanced Dental over…read morethe summer. She had a very minor cavity on an upper tooth and a more serious issue on a lower tooth. The dentist who worked on her tooth decided to work on the easier issue on the top and did not work on the more serious issue with the lower tooth at all. Shortly afterward that dentist was no longer employed by Advanced Dental. However, instead of notifying us about the situation, no warning was given and no one from Advanced Dental let us know that from that point forward they would no longer be willing or able to treat our daughter. Instead, they waited until my wife took time off from work to bring our daughter in for her next appointment and when she arrived, she was told that our daughter wouldn't be seen because they no longer had a pediatric dentist. So, apparently something that could have been avoided with a 10 second phone call turned into my wife missing a half day of work and my daughter getting no dental work done. In the meantime our daughter's tooth began to get worse and Advanced Dental refused to complete the work they originally promised would be done. We tried to find other dentists but no one could see her at all or immediately, including the so called referrals that we received from Advanced Dental. Eventually, we found a dentist in Stoughton called Children's Dental Health Center and they could see her relatively quickly, but by the time she was seen her tooth had decayed so badly that she was almost in need of a root canal. She lived in pain for weeks. Thankfully, her tooth was saved but it was extremely close. As you can see, since then all we've been told by Advanced Dental is how they did nothing wrong and how they did all they could. Laughable. But, in response I would suggest that if a business of any nature starts a project and is then incapable or unwilling to finish it, at the very least they should inform or possibly warn the customer in advance. Obviously, a child suffering is extremely serious, but I would even hope that a roofer would let me know that they couldn't finish my roof before the next rain storm. I would hope that a mechanic would let me know that they couldn't finish fixing my transmission prior to me coming to pick up my car on the day I was scheduled to leave for a cross country road trip. But, I guess that kind of common decency was, in my opinion, lost on whoever is running Advanced Dental. It seems like the only word their staff knows in NO. Obviously, I'm only one voice but it seems like there are plenty of other unhappy people who have used this company. I couldn't recommend any more strongly to be weary of this dentist and try as hard as you can to find another dental organization that will hopefully not just abandon you or your child mid-project. And like I already mentioned, my wife and I were patients at Advanced Dental for over ten years and our children have been going there since they were born. In my opinion, I have no other word to describe this situation other than outrageous!

After one big strike out at another practice, I came here and Dr. Park and her team took excellent care of me! She is so kind and gentle. I had some fillings done, and she is really quick and has a fun banter with her assistant which helps me not think about getting my teeth drilled. I also recently had a cleaning with Hayley, and she was great too- super friendly! She was patient with me and it was a pretty painless and stress free cleaning. I could not recommend this place enough, especially if you are a nervous patient like me!

I need a lot of dental work. During my visit I received more information about how to best take care of my teeth and the series of procedures I require to bring my teeth back to health. Everything (everything!) was explained in great detail. Not just what I need but exactly why and how. I'm not looking forward to the oral gauntlet I'm going to be travelling but I'm going in with the upmost confidence that the results will be well worth it and much appreciated. These folks are great. Most recently, they messed up on my out of pocket $1050 mouth guard and so I had to come back and get the scan done again, they messed that one up too and since they didn't want to pay for another Dr Burt basically forced it in my mouth, it hurt. I told him I couldn't really close my mouth with it in, something my last mouth guard did not do. He said "well then just sleep with your mouth open then" with an irritable tone, extremely inappropriate. It is always NOT healthy to sleep with your mouth open if you can help it. Of course it will fall open sometimes but it is not good for you mouth, already have a slight issue with dry mouth, something they knew about and I wake up every morning with a sore throat. And my jaw is now in even more pain, pain constantly and when eating, and obviously Dr Burt doesn't care. I wasted $1050 dollar out of pocket when I'm already struggling with finances. Now I will need to get a new one at another dentist office, which I can't afford. When I was a teenager he pressured me into a procedure he sprung on me, with severe anxiety as a teenager I wanted to schedule a time to come back when I had properly prepared myself for it but he pressured me into it anyways and at the time I hadn't learned I could push back. Im going to a new dentist who actually cares about their patients. It was also a nightmare to get my medical records sent to me, in the end I didn't even get them sent to me they stopped responding and then sent it to the dentist office directly. They couldn't tell me the dates of the X-rays.. Horrible place, they'll trick you into thinking they care by having their adorable service dogs walking around the office.

I wasted insurance money from other dentists because they couldn't fix my issue. After doing alot of research, I finally decided to call Allen Dental Braintree. Thanks to the front desk (Gina) who was very patient with me, explained and assured me that the dentists there can and will fix my issue. The dental hygienist Nicole also had a very friendly attitude and because of this, I felt less nervous. Other things I've noticed: I did feel my appt with the dentist was rushed. The place is roomy but there was some unpleasant smell in the waiting area. I got a sore throat a couple days later after the appt and I do think it was from this dentist office. I did not have any work done at this place so I cannot say about their work. But their referral specialist did fix my issue that had been bothering me for years. The whole team is thoughtful, GENTLE, consultative, and kind. Dr. Hasan is knowledgeable, smart, and has fantastic bedside manner. Rarely ever any discomfort or pain, and if I've called out that it's painful, they immediately do what they can to make sure I'm comfortable. Even recently, my 2 year old chipped his teeth and we got him in to Dr. Hasan pretty quickly. She eased our worry (the parents) with a calm and light hearted approach, to an easy-fix situation. Our kiddo is on the spectrum and has major anxiety, which is heightened at the dentist. The team at Children's Dentistry is absolutely UNBELIEVABLE at making Stephen feel comfortable.
