We then chose a 9mm GLOCK for the gun rental, 200 rounds of 9mm 115 grain Luger ammunition, and a silhouette target. I provided "eyes & ears" for each of us. Total for all this and 2 hours of range time was approximately ~$120. My friend paid because I wasn't shooting, just coaching. My friends HAD A BLAST and REALLY ENJOYED learning how to shoot a pistol. Neither had experience with a pistol before and soon they were "all in the black" on a target ~10 feet downrange. After paying for 4 consecutive months up till March 2025, the owner once stated that I hadn't paid since Dec 2025. Looking back now, it obvious they had no idea what was going on with their memberships. Im glad I printed my receipts & have proof of payments. As of today 5-12-2025..... my debit card is pending a monthly charge from Hammer Down Range. This payment will be disputed & stopped...I may also pursue theft charges for their ignorance and disregard for us paying customers. If anything they owe all their members a refund, We dont owe Hammer Down anything.

I was a long time admirer of Range USA. I was one of those folks who kept going in and didn't buy anything. Until two things happened: Firstable, My wonderful wife granted permission that I could buy whatever I wanted. ( Don't laugh , some of you are still begging...! ) Secondable, I had to know exactly what I wanted to buy... Range USA made that easy. So I bought what I wanted. The only thing that I thought was crazy was the fact that NO magazines came with the rifle I purchased. I thought that was strange ( as in I thought at least one magazine came with any rifle purchased...). I guess I was Wrong. But Okay. The second thing most have to understand is, in case you didn't know...ALL gun purchases have to pass through the FBI database check before you get anything that fires a bullet and was made after 1893. I am being very careful and respectful about this. FBI and ATF & E don't play. Expect to wait a bit. This was my first time buying firearms in Kentucky. So I had to wait. It's okay, I didn't do anything wrong, so I had nothing to worry about. I have what I bought and I'm happy with that. I did get rid of my membership though. I'm too busy. From the woman by the ammo/rental counter to the 3-4 guys by the firearms (sorry I do not recall names but I mostly interacted with Hans). All the questions I asked were answered. All the questions I didn't know I had, were answered as well. They took the time to help my wife who had questions as well looking for a firearm of her own. Fast forward, I placed a few orders and within a week the firearms were ready for pickup. I went in, did the background check, and was out of there in under 20 minutes with the firearms in hand. I have not used their range yet or taken any of their classes (I will be doing both) but so far, I have nothing but good things to say about Target World.

I'd thought forever that these would not all be the same but I was proven wrong the night we visited this one. It seems like they are all built with similar layouts. The clothes, the outdoor equipment, firearms, ammunition, archery nuts and candy, jams and now they appear to have smoker and bbq cooking equipment, wood chips, and rubs&bbq sauce. It's all kind of expensive to me but honestly, I'm not an outdoorsman but my wife was looking for a jacket as a gift. Always dun to walk in and see all the taxidermy work and especially the fish tank.

To the guys that helped me load it into my wrangler (which took 10 min). The selection of kayaks was incredible and I'll be going back for more camping gear! I walked out with a 200 kayak for 150. Amazing customer service and an amazing store, if you've never been you should make the trip!! Wow!!! Shop here for all outdoor needs! We typically find what we are looking for when we go here but a lot of times we are just in there browsing to see what is new. We purchased a new boat 3 years ago so this added to our stops that we make at Bass Pro. The other thing that's nice about Bass Pro is the decor and the live fish. If you have your grandkids or kids with you they will love it! We plan on making many more trips to this store.
