Get new workers who can read and speak English. Every time I order there I never get my food made right. I always get the wrong food items.

Expensive but spot on every time. Customers a nice as well. Don' count this place out

Had to park on the street and wait 20 minutes for my sandwich. I ordered a sweet tea and it tasted very funky. It didn't taste like tea. I poured it out before I got my sandwich. I was traveling thru Odessa for work and decided to stop to get lunch thru drive thru. Service was insane horrible. understandably there was a long line. I ordered and got to the window. The blonde lady asked me what my sandwich was twice and asked what I had wanted on it over and over again after I had already ordered. It took so long the people in line behind me began to get out of line and leave. She saw them pulling out of line and did not seem to care at all. She forgot my chips and the sandwich was very dry. I love schlotzskys so this was really unusual. Very disappointed and will not be stopping here again. Highly disappointed, I ordered a Smoke Turkey Breast with avocado. There was barely any meat on the sandwich and no avocado. Seriously I paid for a bun, lettuce and tomato. read more

5 minutes ago NEW Got 2 strawberry salads today normally this place is good but went through drive thru. Was a African American man dont know his name he seem like he didn't care no manners. Asked if there was any blue cheese in the salads he said no turns out there is. Asked for French dressing guy just put both ranch in them. Took him like 20mins to get food ready. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received in my life. The young lady at the window seemed annoyed at everything. When asked if they still had cinnamon rolls, she sighed and rudely said let me go check. Once we received our order my husband asked for a couple packets of hot sauce and she loudly sighed again while shaking her head in annoyance as she walked off. Door dashed from here. They completely messed up our order, sandwiches were wrong and we didn't get the soup we ordered. I called them and the girl answered "hello". I had to ask if it was Schlotzsky's and she said yes. I talked to the manager, who was very nice and apologetic. I explained the issue to him and he said that he could redo the whole order but that we would have to come get it. Remember we door dashed. The manager redid our entire order and was very polite and professional but he needs to train his employees better and ensure they are making orders correctly otherwise they don't need to sign up with door dash. The manager did tell one employee to start double checking door dash orders as this was the second order that was wrong. The employee seemed rather incompetent. 2 stars for the manager! read more

I will never go back! I waited probably over thirty minutes in the drive thru and there weren't any cars in front of me! This store is a complete joke....why is It here taking up space? Ordered a basic sandwich inside., waited 30 min as many others that had came in behind me were receiving their food, at least 6 people. Went up and asked about it. They had my order on the other side not finished and on the wrong bread just sitting there. They finally figured out where my order was and started over. Finally got it and it doesn't look like Jal cheese bread. They said it was. 7/11/20 I thought I would give them another chance. I called and asked if they were still doing Albuquerque Turkey sandwiches because last time I went there they told me it wasn't on their new menu and didn't have the proper ingredients to make it. I thought that might be right since they had changed the looks and other things in there. They told me yes they still made them so I drove all the way across town and ordered a large which is huge for two. I get home and once again they didn't put it on the Jalapeño cheese bread which is in the description of there sandwich. They didn't tell me they were out or ask if regular bread was okay. To me the jalapeño bread is what makes it along with the fire-roasted vegetables that seemed to be missing. Very disappointed once again. So I love Cinnabon, never knew their was one in Odessa. Super excited we go to Schlotzky's to get some. Total disappointment. Theyre not made fresh. They come packaged and with heating instructions and apparently you have to follow to the T or the cinnabon will get hard! Those were the exact instructions. Get home warm up as told and its just not warm and oozing with frosting. read more

Long time fan of Schlotzsky's! Stop by on Saturday at 3:45 for lunch not busy at all. Counter lady needs to learn how to by polite. The sandwich I received wasn't anything like I ordered may if the counter lady wasn't playing grad a$$ he might have been able to concentrate. This place has gone totally and completely DOWNHILL. Not only has the service suffered, but the food is now as subpar as can be and lacks flavor as well as quality. Every time I have attempted to eat here they are always out of pizza, flatbreads, and whatever else they're too lazy to make. Ok, so the sandwich was decent. The atmosphere needs work. The place was mostly clean.... what really upset me though was buying a beer which (silly me) I thought would be a longneck.... before I got it I saw on my receipt it was $5 which is OMG high!!!!! But I thought ok, my mistake I wouldn't be repeating this mistake and then she brought me a 12 oz water cut full of beer,,,,,, WTF?!?! Maybe if it was full of liquor right but no, it was beer just plain old beer, a five dollar beer! I thought surely there must be some mistake so I (quickly drank the beer) for fear it would get warm and checked my receipt again and yeah, it said 16 oz beer $5.00....... nope, no, naw ain't no way...... I was mad so my wife went up to talk to the manager cause I don't wanna go to jail, not over a beer ya know???? And the manager said yeah I need to change that in the system it's supposed to say 12 oz not 16 oz..... Ugh... first and last time at this place 25 min wait for two sandwiches. Ridiculously slow and unprepared staff.

I just browsed as many of the post that I could. I have never rcvd bad service, inadequate food or met a dis-courteous employee. So apparently I am an outlier. My family and I still have not had any bad experiences at this location. . Not disagreeing, just disagreeing with what I have read. I will highly recommend this location. We do not utilize the drive-in, so I cannot speak to that issue. I will continue to recommend whole heartedly. read more

I love their food but will not come back here. I drove through for supper. My order was wrong and my sandwich had-extremely thin bread on the bottom. In fact so thin I couldn't pick up the sandwich but ate it with a fork. This time I went inside. The restaurant was empty and it was dirty. The tables were not bussed and food was on the floor. Everytime I come to this location and use the drive thru I sit at the speaker box for at least 5 minutes before driving to the window because nobody ever has a headset on. They open at 8am and I was told at 8:10 that the reason I always have this problem is because it's so early. They open at 8 and should be ready to do business by then. They also didn't have anything ready and said it would take 20-30 minutes for food. Very disappointing customer service. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants, but a lot of times I get old cracked buns, and I can tell they should have been thrown out. I was excited about the Cinnabon added until I tried it and the dough was raw on the first and second time I tried it so I think they have problems, and I would not recommend the in store Cinnabon. Also, If theres more than 1 - 2 people in drive through then I just go somewhere else because I will be waiting there forever. read more

Ok so I am a regular Schlotzky's customer. I lived in Houston for a while and love their sandwiches & was so glad to find out Odessa had a location. TWICE I have waited over 5 minutes in the drive thru and NO ONE picked up when clearly there were employees in the restaurant, so I left. I'm confused, don't they want to sell food and make money?? They just got renovated so the decor is a lot nicer and more hip, but the service continually SUCKS. Takes FOREVER for food to come out and they are always out of the best Raspberry Lemonade. I will never return to this location. Yesterday I went through the drive thru at about 6:25pm. I ordered a 1/2 sandwich, and 1/2 pizza. The line took forever to move! At 7:05 I get to the window and was told it would be another 10-15 minutes for my order!! Seriously?! I asked for my meal to be discounted because of the long wait and the girl at the window said there was no manager in store and no one was left in charge, that they were just running behind. Almost an hour behind? That is ridiculous, and just plain bad business. From reading other reviews on here and on google this location obviously just cannot get it together. This place needs to shut down. I don't know why There is still a location in Odessa. I have tried going there three times and each time they have either ran out of something, not making flatbreads or pizza, and the service is extremely slow. Most Schlotzky's are great, and I love eating at them. This one on the other hand has awful service. I ordered online and arrived in the store 2 minutes prior to my order being ready. So I waited patiently for 20 minutes. In that 20 minutes, I saw the guy making the sandwiches working very slowly, and repeatedly putting meals back into the toaster to re-heat them. Finally I asked if my order was ready, and when the nice lady at the front went back to look it, she found out that it had been sitting on an incorrect shelf. He had finished the order and then placed it in an area where they weren't supposed to keep completed orders. Never did he call out my name or even "orders ready!" She then proceeded to bag it and hand it over, and my gut feeling told me to double check. Sure enough they had forgotten my dessert too. So I asked for that, and they got it to me. Then as I was walking out I realized they also never gave me any silverware. When I asked for some they handed me the in-store silverware. Overall an awful experience. I was very pleased with the drive-thru service I received from Marcus Jensen. He had great pr skills and did a great job! He is full of life. I would go back just because of the service he gave. It is so refreshing to see a young person with a good work ethic. The food was good but the overall experience I received from Marcus Jensen made it 5-star. read more
