We arrived at this location at around 8:51 pm, they close at 9. Typically, I would not arrive at a restaurant this close to closing, however the open sign was still on and online it stated they closed at 10. We walked over to the door to read their true hours of operation and upon arrival, we were rudely greeted by a female who threw the door open, slammed it behind herself, then went on to throw a FIT for the entirety of our experience; snapping at her co-worker, instructing in opposing ways dependent on her mood, throwing the ingredients to our sandwiches, leaving ingredients off of our food items, and storming around the store. As we were walking out of the building (prior to 9pm still, as the throwing of food really sped up the process of getting it out to us) the female stomped over to the open sign and slammed it into the wall to shut it off as we were walking out. A young man named Tommy took our order and gave us our food with NO complaints, continually going the extra mile to ensure we got the food that we would enjoy. Food was delicious. Service was quick and friendly. We appreciated the accommodations for a large group.

I drove from downtown Salina because I was hankering for an Origional. Once I got to the counter, the cashier just looked at me. No greeting, no smile, just stared at me. Had I not went out of my way to eat here I would have left. While paying, the cashier stated, "Most people leave a tip." The sandwich was as tasty as I remembered. Portion size is adequate for the money. The dining area was as clean as could be expected, considering it was lunch hour. Food is great...when they get your order correctly, I have ate here numerous times and I think my meal has been made correctly twice. One of the nicest looking Schlotzsky's I've ever been in. Very modern. Loved the high top bar area seating with pop up covers revealing power and USB ports. Nice. We ate at the Schlotxsky's in Salina,Ks . The food was very good and the staff was friendly and attentive. The only reason for the missing star is the missing rye bread for the pastrami sandwich. Sour dough was good but pastrami needs rye bread. read more

The sandwiches never change and I hope they never do. I live in Colorado and we haven't seen a Schlotzsky's in a very long time and I for one certainly miss it. The young man that took my order at the drive-through was very pleasant and they made it to perfection. 6/12/23. Super disappointed. We come to Salina just to get Schlotzskys. My chicken BBQ pizza was awful. Hardly any bbq sauce and only one cheese was put on. You must have to come during the daytime because the evening crew was terrible and I've never ate a worse pizza. read more

Never got my food waited 1 hr called multiple times then the cancelled order . Very disappointed

I had my boyfriend stop by the store before closing. I gave my order over the phone. I ordered the Pick 2... Turkey SmokeyCheesey and Turkey Original. I also requested olives be on both sandwiches. When I got the sandwiches no olives were added even on the one that came with it. My Turkey Original had no onions or lettuce and a sliver of tomato. I had been craving these sandwiches for some time and am highly disappointed that the staff put no effort in preparing a proper sandwich. I did not eat the 2nd of the Pick 2 to return to the store. Ordered a SW Chicken salad with grilled chicken and tortilla strips. They don't use grilled chicken. The picture on their web and menu show grilled chicken. They use slice sandwich chicken. Got a great sandwich from Schlotzskys today... a smoked turkey on their perfectly round buns - they sort of remind me of small muffalettas. I had to have it delivered to the airport in a to-go box, so I can't say if everyone there was nice. Good sandwiches, but let's be real, the sourdough bread is why I come back and back. Its fantastic! The Louisiana hot sauce on the table is what puts the sandwich over the top. I have always enjoyed the Schlotzsky's Ruben on dark rye. One time I did receive one here at this location that the bread was sub par. I mean for rye bread to be sub par it has to be really noticeable. However that was only once. read more

Traveling thru KS and asked on yelp if we could bring our pug to sit with us outside. Got an immediate response from the owner that he would let his GM know and expect us! The outside seating was perfect, covered and mostly enclosed. Location was so close from the highway, was a great stop for us. Staff was polite and friendly, and we all loved our food.
