The manager came over and asked the cashier where the coupon book was- neither of them knew. The manager said "sorry" and told me I could call 1-800 Walgreens. I was really frustrated and after leaving the store, I sat in my car and ordered the product via their app with pickup at the store and the digital coupon loaded fine. 3 hours later, I received an email saying there was a delay. When I finally got notification that I could go back to the store and pick up the item, it was too late. The next morning, I saw an email which confirmed the item was picked up at 10:09 pm which was not the case. I went to the store the next day, and explained the emails I received to the manager. He said there wasn't an issue, handed me the item and said, "I told you yesterday, I could call 1-800- Walgreens for you." I was stunned and just fed up with the whole experience. I will no longer shop at Walgreens- the customer service is a joke.

I have a few big problems with AA Pharmacy and they keep being an issue lately, unfortunately. First, they have a major issue with what they leave out spread across their counter. The last three times I was there, there were prescriptions with names of the person and names of the medicine in bags sitting right out on the same counter where you pay. Not only could I see confidential info, including about one person I knew, I also could have just taken some of the bags had I wanted to. It's so odd and they don't seem to care that confidential info is just cascading out on the same countertops where people are checking out. It seems so disorganized and careless now, which is disconcerting when I'm trusting them to manage medications for my family. Second, in the beginning, the pharmacist was always there and he was so friendly and helpful -- now there are several rude and/or inattentive people who will finish eating their sandwich before coming over to help people waiting at the register. If you have a question for a pharmacist, there often is not one there. If I ask when one will be there, they often aren't sure. I assume the prescriptions are still reviewed by a pharmacist (?!), but I have had two recent ones where they gave me the wrong amount, and both times they barely seemed to care. I'm not surprised to see all the good reviews from them are at least a year old. Sadly, the whole feeling there has changed so much and it's a huge disappointment. I've transferred away from them as of this week but I hope they improve!

I called Ann Arbor Pharmacy, and within 24 hours my prescriptions were transferred and the ones that needed refilling were filled. The environment is so quiet and calming, the employees are courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable, and there is never a long wait. I brought 7 of my old video recorder tapes into Walgreens and they sent them off and within 4 weeks I got an email that let me have a month trail of looking at all the home videos on iMemories right on my phone and computer. This allowed me to watch them without waiting for the DVD's to come back to the store! (Usually takes another month for that) Each tape costs $24.99 and then additional $9.99 for the CD, but the best part is you don't pay until you get the DVD's. (Gave me some time to save up the money lol) Attached in the photos you'll see that they packaged everything really neatly to cause it to not be damaged and even put my still frames on the videos to give it a warm feeling.
