I went in yesterday for my annual eye exam. My appointment was at 11am. I arrived about 5 to 10 minutes early. The receptionist took me in right away to start my exam. I LOVE Dr. Chow. She's always so amazing and thorough. I love that she is very personable and truly cares about my well being. Once I was done with my eye exam, I went out to pick my glasses as my eyesight got better. I was shown several pairs. Found something I loved right away and was out of the office by 11:30am. I love Dr. Schneider and his staff. They are all so nice and friendly. They were thoughtful, able to see me quickly and I was in and out on my lunch break (which in my opinion is unheard of)! I even had help from the staff in picking out my glasses, I was being very specific (which normally I'm not, but was having issues with my current frames), and they found me something that I may not have normally looked at, but it ended up being perfect! Dr Schneider is a great eye doctor who truly cares for his patients. I went through an ordeal when my eyes decided to reject my current contacts and my prescription kept changing. After several visits, he was finally able to get me into some new contacts and glasses that worked. He even called me a few times between visits just to check in and see how things were going. Sorry for the bad review but I couldn't be more disappointed in this place.. had my first visit here back in February and today, is the end of April and I still don't have my glasses... my first pair of glasses arrived after about two weeks only to get a phone call and be told that it will take another week or so because apparently there was something wrong with them, they finally came but they got my prescription wrong, I keep telling them my glasses don't fit right and I can't see and they try to convince me that it's me and I'm not used to them and all that, the lady finally realizes that the prescription is wrong, now a second pair is being ordered, another 10 days go by, nobody calls me to let me know if they arrived or not, I finally call and I'm told that they came but the frame was scratched and needed to be replaced and it will take 3 more business days.. well guess what, 10 more days go by and I finally get a text, yes a text not even a phone call that my glasses have arrived.. so with all this said I will not go back to this office for my next annual exam, I'm sure there are plenty optometrists out there that have a bit more consideration for their patients time and money, oh did I mention that they have $300 worth of my product that I am not in possession of.. ugh, so frustrated read more

Dr. Chow is extremely friendly, but also professional. The whole office is very courteous and make every yearly exam a breeze.

This practice is run very well, from pre appointment to follow up after appointments. The communication level surpasses most businesses by leaps and bounds. I had an issue with transition from near vision to computer vision which Dr. Schneider helped me resolve with another pair of glasses specific to my needs. He explained the situation in plain English and corrective measures we could take. I always feel comfortable with him, his associates and staff. Loved this place. Took my son is to get his eyes checked and everyone including the doctor was very nice and friendly.

The office was very professional and the staff was nice. I was impressed with how personal the Dr's were, and a good sense of humor. We felt like individuals and not just another patient. They were open about pricing and never pushed for procedures that we didn't want. We found out I had a possible condition and needed more procedures that our insurance mandated be done at a Kaiser facility, yet their office still answered all our questions they could and we never felt rushed. I am so glad that I randomly found this place to be open on a Saturday morning as I've struggled to find any Optometrists in Camarillo to be. I made an appointment for my daughter. I was able to get in soon. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. When we got to the office we were greeted immediately and given some paperwork. Dr. Chow herself came out and introduced herself and took us back to the exam area. She tested my daughter. We have been to other Optometrists in the past. I was happy with Dr. Chow's knowledge and I think she gave a good recommendation on the correct strength of the eyeglass and contact prescription. read more

Great service and the ONLY optometrist /vision center that would make lenses for my antique frames. Every other place I visited developed "cold sweats" when ask, said it was "impossible or too fragile" to do. Not only were they willing to take the time to make lenses for my frames, it took less than 90 minutes including an exam. read more
