Prices on bushels of mediums has been the same for a while. Would be convenient to accept credit cards - bring cash - service is great.

We ended up getting Buffalo chicken sausage and beef on weck sausages, both were great. Also got a stuffed hot pepper thing which was awesome, and Allen burgers which we didn't try yet. The grocery store also has many unique items like locally made foods and specialty goods. They had a ton of employees working which was great because everything moved fast. I highly recommend visiting if you're a foodie!

Their sausage special this week was taco sausage for $2.99 a lb. So I had to try it.... Real good. The store is always crowded but you can get fast service at the meat, deli and cashiers. Parking lot is small but people are in and out so fast that I've never had a problem getting a space. The store is kinda small and located right in the middle of a neighborhood. Their homemade Polish sausage is so good, reminds me of my childhood. Cold cuts are sliced per order and better prices than any chain grocery store. I recommend the drive if you have never been there.

Their bakery is one of the reasons I love Market in the Square. So many freshly baked, tasty options, many things you won't find at other grocery stores. For example, they often have Polish treats like the sour cream cheese cake and Placek. They have tasty donuts, cakes, cookies and vanilla pastry hearts. The bakery staff is always kind and have a lot of attention to detail in their work. The fish fry is fantastic as well! Several different options (fried fish, baked fish, shrimp, breaded scallops and combo platters) You get a lot of food for the price and it is always crisp and not soggy. The rest of the store has an old school grocery store look and vibe to it without looking or feeling dingy or outdated. There are often lines for checkout because there just aren't that many registers, but overall, it is a great place for your dessert needs!

It just wouldn't be a major holiday if I didn't stop at the market in the Square. It has all the ambience on the Broadway market without having to leave my suburban neighborhood. I've been focused on Tavern style fish fries throughout this Lenten season. But today was only Thursday and the Market in the Square's deli doesn't serve beer battered fish until Friday. But imagine my surprise when I saw beer-batter fish in the prepared meals section of the deli. For $15 I got two huge beer-battered haddock cutlets, which when air fried are absolutely flavorful, crunchy coating and the fish is tender and tasty! I prepared all my homemade sides and tartar sauce, served it with a lemon and some rye! I sure didn't miss paying $52 at a restaurant for this tasty meal which served 3 people! I thoroughly enjoy the selection of fresh lilies and tulips in pots near the front of the store Cashiers are very helpful, pleasant, and caring.

Go Bills! I didn't buy it, but it would be a fun addition to any tomorrow's watching game party:). It's just a rye bread:).

It's not Mary's organic chicken or organic chicken at all. It looks like horrible chicken you get from like any random market. I'm really confused why people come here over Whole Foods or wegmans. I'm sorry.. I know it's a local business but the prices are crazy. I feel like if it was organic chicken then maybe I can justify it.

This time I went in to get some lamb chops ($20 a lb) I wish the chops were bigger, but they were portioned out and ready to go for marinating and grilling. I couldn't help myself and got a cup of their Mac and cheese in their case. (was cheesy and creamy, just how I like it!) Grilled up the chops last night , good flavor but kind of fatty. The customer service is nice and prompt and they have a great selection of anything you may want (meat wise) plus the store is very clean which is a huge plus for me. I'll be back to get some more stuff to put on my grill once the temps rise.
