This is a little late, but Betty's was absolutely outstanding! I have severe food allergies,…read moreincluding dairy, eggs, and gluten, and the only breakfast I ever get to eat is the one I make for myself at home. I honestly can't remember the last time I was able to order breakfast at a restaurant. While visiting Buffalo with my boyfriend in November 2025, his college friend spent the morning taking us to several restaurants trying to find a place where I could safely eat. After striking out everywhere else, Betty's was our last stop--and what a blessing it was! Alice, our host, was warm, friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure my food allergies were handled safely. I was able to order a bacon, "egg" and avocado sandwich made to accommodate my allergies, and it was incredible. I hadn't enjoyed a breakfast sandwich from a restaurant in over a decade! It was so delicious that I went back again before leaving Buffalo and even ordered another sandwich to take home. For anyone living with food allergies, you know how rare it is to find a restaurant that truly understands safe food preparation while still serving amazing food. I'm from New York City, and I still haven't found a place that compares. 1,000 stars! I can't recommend Betty's highly enough.

The vibe is so right, in fact this restaurant has a personality of its own, which matches its amazing eclectic selection of delicious foods. On beautiful sunny Spring, Summer or Autumn days you can enjoy the neighborhood on the patio or you can always choose to dine in one of their several comfortable dining rooms all of which feature art (Some of which you can purchase ) that will get you leaving your seat for a closer look. We were rewarded with two truly special brunch items ... a layered "French toast" that I stared at as a diner near me ate hers and an orange infused pair of delicious waffles. They were perfect and filling (This ended up as our only meal on this beautiful Sunday.). The quality of service matched the food ... we lingered soaking in the atmosphere just enjoying life at Betty's. When asked by neighbors where we went for brunch we said "Betty's" and they smiled knowingly. Once you're familiar with Betty's you've found a friend.

I went to Coco for my birthday dinner and was pleasantly surprised! Very aesthetically pleasing…read morerestaurant, nicely decorated. Service was very friendly as well. I ordered the Rosemary Frites, which were a delicious appetizer. I had the maple salmon salad as my meal, and it was amazing! The chèvre was so fresh, the greens were great, and the salmon, wow! A delicious meal that I got two meals out of because I took half of it home, as it's a pretty large portion. Originally, I was given the wrong order that I couldn't have due to dietary restrictions, but the waitress was very kind and gave me the correct one, as well as taking it off of my bill. I really appreciated that! We got macarons as dessert and they were super yummy as well. Overall, I really enjoyed my time at Coco, and it will be in my rotation of "special occasion" local restaurants going forwards!

Cheese was hard & it just needed more texture, maybe pickles or something to give the burger some depth. The patties were not medium as ordered but well done and hard . Let's just say the dog enjoyed it. Lamb bolognese was 6/10. The pasta noodle had a weird texture and just didn't taste fresh.. I don't even want to say fresh but it just wasn't good. Overall we were looking forward to this restaurant as nothing else around town impressed us and we were left disappointed .

I wanted to love my fig/prosciutto/balsamic pizza and their version of a Caesar salad, but I just didn't--too salty and the flavors were just off for me. (I don't think there was anything wrong with the dishes themselves--I just think they were too rich for me. I'm sure I would've been very happy if I would've eaten the same dishes as my boyfriend. I'm sure others will enjoy that pizza and salad). Chocolate-orange gelato was delicious. Huge portions of everything! You won't leave here hungry. Was sad we couldn't take anything home as we were traveling. I wish that they had had their cuccidati (Italian fig cookies) on hand in the restaurant--which they apparently sell at their bakery at another site--I wanted to see if they were as good as the ones I make! Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to visit their bakery as we left town the next day. Service was very attentive and pleasant (my Scottish boyfriend thought it was over-the-top, but he's used to minimal service standards, ha ha). (If you want to be completely left alone for your meal, this isn't the place for you). I found the service to be terrific. Definitely can tell this is a family business--and as someone who also is a part of a family Italian restaurant, I enjoyed this aspect. Would visit again if I was local--and I'd make sure I had the minestrone and a meaty pasta dish--or I'd even come just to have a cocktail and bread with the dip!
