I first went to these guys for some front end work, very expensive front end work, and they had my car for 2 weeks. Almost 2 weeks after that my entire wheel fell off mid driving. I had a literally just got back from A Basin several days before. I am so lucky this didn't happen then. They fixed everything for free but had my car for another 2 weeks. They gave it back with the alignment way off and you'd think, of all the things, they would've at least given it an alignment. Definitely took it to a trusted mechanic to fix and double check everything. This shop is dangerous. Do not waste your time or money. read more

When we picked it us they informed us that we would be getting a survey to rate them and asked that we leave a good review. My husband informed them that there was no way he could give them a good review, so we never recieved the survey. I brought my truck in 3 days early for just a diagnostic waited 2 months for a call back they had my truck for 2 months for the apointment. they charged me 500.00 for. I needed the document for a court case so it was very important to me .They refused to give it to me and got sick of me asking and kicked me out. They also recommended a new engine be put in my truck but would not show me the diagnostic . I would take this as a warning they seem to not know what they are doing and it could waste your time and money as well as resources . My boyfriend took in his 2017 Ford Explorer on a Thursday evening to have a recall done on his car and to look at a few other things. First, they're customer service is horrible. They act like you're a nuisance when you walk up to service desk. He ended up leaving his car there so they can work on it on Friday and Saturday. They did not even pull his car in until Saturday afternoon. When he called to get the status, he was told that no one would look at it until Monday. Monday comes around and he calls. Guy on the telephone did not know at all what was going on. The tech had informed him but apparently "forgot" what the tech told him. Called back on Tuesday to get status. He was told that they were working on the recall and would not be ready until Wednesday. He was basically without a car for almost a week for just a recall. Lack of communication and awful customer service. If I could, I would avoid this place as much as possible! read more

My 17 yr old son bought a used Ford 2010 Escape from Schomp. This was sold as is. I would think that a noticeable problem when starting would have been looked at prior to selling from a big dealership. Not the case here. My son and his mom went to look at one suv at Schomp and were told they had it. When they arrived, they were told they didn't have it but had the one he ended up buying. Not knowing much on cars for a young teen and female they got a bad deal. Schomp did agree to look at it after we complained. Schomp Fords shop only found dirty spark plugs and "cleaned" them. What the? They said they could not find a problem. The car on every start after sitting struggled to start like it was not getting fuel. I know a spark plug is gapped right and good or you replace. Never heard of cleaning them. They found nothing else. After a week of not having a car, my teen wanted his wheels back. This turned out to burn him. He had more starting problems and it now started to stall out while driving. Trouble shooting from home I narrowed it to either fuel filter, pump, injector problem. I have very little knowledge on cars with anything but a basic old school motor with minimal electrical components. Not having more time, we were able to have another dealer look at it and I was on the right track. The tech was able to in 4 hours diagnose the problem replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump and sensor faulting. The tech said Schomp should have found the same and fixed the problem. My teen now has little trust in buying a car now and knows how the switch and bait works and the problems of buying used from a not so honest dealer. Lesson learned. Schomp Ford IS NOT the place to go to. read more

This is by far the worst experience of my adult life. We had our van if for diagnostics in February of 2023. We were told it needed a new motor for $10k, then after waiting until March 2024 they told us its ready for pickup. After pickup the van will not start. I take it back in for review and now we are being told it needs a new transmission at $9k. This is the work diagnostics I have ever seen. I have had Schomp Ford service my 23 Ford Maverick a few times now. So far, they have been professional (Alec, Chazz and the service manager (sorry, I forgot his name), courteous, thorough and competent. The only incident I had was that their technician forgot to put back the oil cap after changing the filter and oil during my last service. Chazz was the one who discovered that it was missing and the engine looked dirty. He called his supervisor over and he inspected it and said it was their mistake. They gladly took care of the situation and also detailed my truck. Oh yeah, they fixed my driver side window and mirrors which I was needed repairing (that was the original reason I was there). This place is absolutely terrible!! They are incompetent. We dropped off my Mom's car 9 days ago to get fixed (radiator hose), 8 days passed and they still didn't even work on it. Well, they called my Mom at 5pm yesterday (they close at 6pm) and said they had ordered the wrong part. We eventually get it back today. Long story short, it took them 8 days to order the wrong part, but only a day to actually order the right part and fix it on the 9th day. And, they only refunded $100 of the $434 spent to fix it. That doesn't even count for the fact the rental car costed over $500. DO NOT COME HERE!!! TAKE YOUR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! This has been the worst experience ever. My vehicle has been sitting there for a month now. I understand we had holidays, diesel techs are limited at dealers etc, I'm not unreasonable. The service advisor Miguel has been awful, bare minimum communication, no updates without my follow-up and zero concern for getting your vehicle back to you. Edit: I was really hoping to be able to turn this review into a positive one, but it does not look like that is going to happen. I received a call immediately after posting this review from Miguel (our service advisor) he gave me a more thorough update on the diagnosis of the vehicle, which he had not bothered to do the whole time it had been there. He also said they would get the vehicle in to look at, but "management would want to see the negative review removed before bringing the vehicle in". I told him I would not be adjusting or removing the review until this situation was made right. I later got a call from the service manager Rick. He did seem genuinely concerned about making this situation right. I told him I planned to tow the vehicle somewhere else. He assured me the vehicle would be pulled in within a week and would not be pulled out until it was finished. So I agreed to allow them to make it right. They brought it in as promised on January 26th, I approved all repairs as soon as the work order came through and the vehicle got pushed back out of the bay. On January 31st I was told the vehicle was on the schedule for the second week of February. Here we are February 15th and the vehicle still has not made it into the shop. The only response I got was a "we had a delay". Bottom line is unless you don't need your vehicle do not take it here, because it's no different than taking it to a junkyard and they don't stand by anything they tell you. Our vehicle has been there 58 days and counting, with no sign of repairs happening anytime soon. read more

They never once contacted me for an update, I had to text them (phone calls were never returned.) Finally, I found a different service, who repaired it in ONE DAY. The staff at Schomp Ford make it worth it! Before I give the synopsis, I want to give shout out to these individuals who we had some sort of contact with at Ford Schomp and they made a positive impression: Ross Turner, Brandon Gamel, Kiersten Peterson, Cristian Cabrera and Devin Barada. There were also a few others we interacted with in the customer lounge that I didn't catch their names, but all the staff were super nice, friendly and genuine. We started perusing vehicles for purchase many months ago and found ourselves at Mike Naughton Ford, prior to the change over to Schomp Ford. Two of the staff members we worked with at Mike Naughton were Brandon Gamel and Ross Turner. We had just started our vehicle search and had interest in the new Broncos. Brandon allowed us to test drive the dealer 2021 Bronco Sport Badlands with Badlands Package. We loved it, but just weren't ready to pull the trigger and naturally we move slow on decisions to ensure it's what we want. As we had more questions about the vehicle, Brandon then connected us with Ross who just happened to inform us we could reserve one of the Broncos that another had backed out of. Nothing was ever high pressure. We walked away and thought about it for several days and then stopped in at Mike Naughton and reserved the Bronco with the assistant of Ross who let us add additional accessories and change the color. This was possible as the vehicle was not in production yet and Ross's expertise and experience is in ordering/building vehicles. It would be 3-4 months until the vehicle was built and during this time frame this dealership became Schomp Ford. It also gave us time to check out other dealerships, makes and models of vehicles. Which we did... and many of them. Used and new and many other brands. I can confidently say, Schomp Ford has the BEST customer service. Connection is really important to us and by far, Schomp Ford is amazing! We'd stop in occasionally just to get a status update on the Bronco and we immediately noticed a positive influence and feel about the dealership with the change over, in addition to the positive experience we had with Brandon and Ross as Mike Naughton Ford. We were also happy to hear that Brandon Gamel and Ross Turner were transitioned to Schomp! Yay!!!! Then, our vehicle finally arrived!!! The best part was, Brandon was genuinely excited for us! Ross, although in another position at Schomp, even came out to say hello when we picked up the vehicle. Everything we experienced was beyond exceptional and to our liking! Thank you to Schomp Ford staff for all your patience with us. We like the "One Price. One Person. One Hour." One Person- Of course you have your main person (ours being Brandon) but there are so many staff who played a role in our positive car buying experience from Schomp. This even includes the guy who filled the goodies in the customer lounge, even though I never got his name, but he was super friendly. And the guy who was cleaning off vehicles while we were checking out ours. And all the names I listed at the beginning. One Hour - The One Hour is fantastic... any overage is from us, not our sales adviser but we can see how the process is super simple and easy for anyone purchasing a vehicle and looking for it to be done quickly. BEWARE !!! I took my Ford to Schomp for a battery. I paid at the parts counter and they wanted to hand me the battery. I asked about installation and was told they "don't install batteries". Every parts store - even Batteries Plus - will install a car battery FREE. I went to service and asked if they would install my battery. The service guy, eventually, agreed to go look for a mechanic who would do it. He was gone over 20 minutes. Came back and told me $50 to install the battery - and he was doing me a favor. Schomp Ford has charged me for the Battery. I disputed the charge at Discover as I DID NOT get the battery. Now, Schomp has challenged my dispute and I am still being charged for a battery I never got. Outright thievery !!! Got a FREE battery test and installation at O'Reilly on Leetsdale no problem. I am 72 and cannot remember being treated so rudely and then being charged for declining to pay $50 to install a battery that takes 3 screws - 2 on the cables, one on the holder - and 5 minutes. Waited for two weeks, showed up early to the appointment, and they told us they don't have a big enough lift so they can't even see our vehicle. Great salesman but overall leadership of the dealer and vehicle inspection/service failed. After clearing the engine codes and selling me a barely running/legal vehicle, I took it to a Chevy dealership to get a thorough, trusted diagnoses. They discovered that several trouble codes have been cleared and several issues. The biggest being the catalytic converter system is not operating correctly. They also found out that the alternator was failing causing it to rough idle and trip all sorts of service lights. Brake sensor was out completely and a few other minor things. Wow read more

Sales person Micah said he knew about it but it had been poorly repaired with epoxy, he called it amateur work. Took it to a glass repair company and the windshield needs replaced. Asked if Schomp would replace it and they said they would pay for half. The chip is in Zone A and therefor not road legal to drive. Suddenly Schomp stopped calling me. THEY SOLD ME A LEMON! DON'T LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU. (Details Below) You know, you hate it when you go to a place that you think is reputable and does their due-diligence , but when buying a used car from a dealership with no warranty, as-is, I guess I should have known better. Within 2 weeks of buying the 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Schomp the starter started to go. I figured, these things happen, no big deal, and paid $800 out of pocket to get it replaced. Seeing that it started to go within 2 weeks of buying the vehicle, I have to assume that they knew something was wrong, but those at Schomp have assured me that they do their best to ensure that their used vehicles that they sell are in the best of condition. Time goes by after this and I begin to believe them, this car is working great, granted it's a bit slow off the line, the engine has definitely lost some horses over time, but I'm sure those at Schomp did their due diligence. There's no way that I won't make it to the end of my first oil change before the whole engine collapses on me. What's that the whole engine collapsed on me? I didn't even make it 3,000 miles from where I bought it from them at? I barely even got the car registered? BUT SCHOMP ENSURES ME THAT THEY DID THEIR DUE DILLEGENCE AND THAT THEY WOULD NEVER!!!!!! It must have been me. It must have been my fault that I trusted these people. They care about their customers. They care about you! They have the one price one hour guarantee! They love you. Bought a good car from Schomp Ford a few days ago (only reason for any star at all) ... and it is the last car I will ever buy there. Cliché used car experience. Plenty of help and pleasantries in the sales process. Once you leave though, any assurances you may have been given about "being taken care of" don't mean a thing. I purchased an "as is" used car with the "security" of knowing that I had 7-days or 150 miles in which I could return the vehicle if I had any problem. When I took the car to my mechanic, he identified a dent I hadn't noticed, along with $2,000 in needed repairs. I absorbed the repair costs because they were largely preventative issues based on the car's mileage. The dent, though, was something I expected Schomp Ford would fix for me. Couldn't have been more wrong. Why did I think they'd fix the small dents? First, because I was told I'd be "taken care of." That didn't happen. Second, because three dealerships I'd made test drives at in the prior two days told me that they would fix small dents for me if I chose to buy the cars I was test driving ... all saying it was "no big deal." Those dealerships were Groove Ford, MacDonald VW and BMW of Denver Downtown. I understand what "as is" means, but I had SPECIFICALLY asked about a situation where I took the car in for inspection and found something I hadn't noticed before. I was told "we'll take care of you ... we want you to be happy." Guess I should have gotten that in writing. Yes, I should have insisted on having an inspection before purchasing the car ... clearly. Getting burned is the risk I took when I choose to take my salesperson at his word ... so that's on me. BUT ... when I asked for the second key to the car, I was told it couldn't be located. Normally, I would have found that strange except for the fact they were unable to find the keys to FOUR OTHER cars I had called ahead and made an appointment to test drive (to be fair, those four cars were at the adjacent Schomp Hyundai store ... but my Schomp Ford salesperson said he would help me with those test drives ... which never happened because ... as I said ... no keys). The point is that I accepted it as completely plausible that they could have misplaced the second key, based on the above-noted experience ... and since I did not need it that instant, I was okay with letting my salesperson find the key and let me know when I could come in to retrieve it. The truth, though, is that the dealership NEVER HAD the key in the first place. Being that keys to the car I bought are well over $500 to replace, the absence of a spare/second key is information I should have been given in advance, so we could have worked out a solution. When I followed up the next day about the second key, I was told ... and I quote ... "a second key is not owed or promised to you." So ... Schomp Ford = Buyer Beware. Here is the kicker ... and this should tell you all you need to know. When I took my complaint to the store's general manager ... providing a long email with a full accounting of how poorly and dishonestly I'd been treated, he wrote back with a reply that made it CRYSTAL CLEAR he never read what I wrote. The first sentence of his two-sentence email reply was ... and I quote, "Are you wanting to take advantage of the return policy?" ... this he wrote even though, in my email, I explicitly stated ... and I quote ... "I am not looking to return the car." There are MANY MANY used car dealerships and auto search companies to choose from. If my above-described experience would bother you, as still bothers me, then stay clear of Schomp Ford as a provider of used cars. You can do better. read more

I went in today to look at a car that I was interested in. It was overall a positive experience. They were laid back, direct, and the advertised price (which I failed to consider taxes on but that was my fault) was what they stuck with and if you look at their prices you will see that they are good deals. I didn't end up buying it, but spent time with Javier and he was great. Read through some of these reviews and honestly I think a lot of people just come on Yelp to vent, the tons of people who have a good experience at this place simply do not post to yelp. Had a scheduled appointment to replace the driver's door key lock on my F-150, which was removed by vandals in a break in. Scheduled the appointment more than a week in advance. Told them exactly what the service appointment was for. Dropped it off the night before so it would be "first in line" for my scheduled 8:00 am service appointment. I took my 2000 Ford F250 pick-up truck to Schomp Ford because it was making a strange sound. Makaula Biddle was the Service Advisor that checked me in. She was very helpful and patient while explained the problem. I am cripple and use a cane so I need extra time to walk . After my truck was repaired, the Service Technician, Grant Roberston, rode in the truck with me to make sure the roughness of the ride had been taken care of. A week later my truck would not start and had to be towed to Schomp Ford. It had noticed it pulling to the right. I called Makayla to let her know the truck was on the way to the service department. She apologized for the inconvenience and was ready to speak with me about the problem when I arrived. Two days later my truck was ready to be picked up. She was enthusiastic and cheery as she assured me the ignition switch had been replaced and i should not be having any more problems starting it. To my surprise Makayla had taken the initiative to obtain a wavier for several other parts that needed to be replaced which resulted in a significant discount. I brought my car in with an appointment for an oil change. They rotated my tires and told me I needed my engine air filter changed so I did. Two and a half hours later and $140 later I check out and the woman says if there is a nail or anything in your tire give me a call. I get home and there is a screw in my tire. I come back and they said we can't patch that so you need to buy a new tire. $225 later I am replacing my tire. If you want to spend way more money than necessary to fix things that weren't broken feel free to bring your car to Schomp Ford. read more

Took my f150 for an oil change works package. Dropped off at noon didn't get my vehicle till 5pm which I understand because of being short staffed. What I didn't like was that I noticed my tires were not rotated second time this has happened.The lady helping me also noticed that the paperwork was also incorrect with wrong diagnostic information. She was helpful and wanted to make things right and comped the oil change. I stepped into my vehicle to leave and my dash had an error on it that it did not have before. I went back to let them know turns out they did not plug in a connection they removed all the way in. I was a huge fan of Schomp Subaru, so much so that we bought two new cars nine days apart. Schomp bought Mike Naughton Ford and I felt like this would be a good thing. Unfortunately the sales manager is not only taking advantage of the supply situation in their pricing they aren't even offering any level of customer service. 1900.00 added for 2 tinted side windows and clear bra for my daughters Bronco. Took it to Arvada to have done, didn't replace the fuel they burned, didn't give her a loaner, and on top of that forgot to pick it up from the vendor and had to wait another day without a car. They even had forgotten to get her to sign the title to her trade and she went back to the dealer to sign it for them. Not even a thank you. I kind of get them taking advantage of the public with the pricing, but at least give some customer service. Very disappointed. read more

(Service department review) This service department has the HIGHEST hourly rate in the area. Working with them has been slow and painful. I understand the 'supply chain issue' but I'm waiting over 2 months for 'bolts'. When they finally get it fixed- they send an invoice for 4 tires for over 1k. and of course those need to be order. No foresight in this procedure as the car has been there 2 months. No one thought, oh we should talk about tires and get those ordered. I am extremely frustrated with the lack of communication from them. I was suppose to get a rental vehicle, and in 2 months there was never one available. Tried to get "Kevin' the service manager on the phone to sort it out and he seems to not be available. Those 4 tires "Fair market' they claim are found at other locations for half the price. (including an alignment) I'm going to have my car towed to another location and have the tires sorted. I'd prefer to deal with honest and straight forward folks and this seems like too much for them to handle. even with the tow- it's cheaper than the quote for tires they sent. Took a certified pre owned from ford Littleton a f 350 that I bought in December 2021, in for a recall and oil change at Schomp ford.. they did an inspection. Did the recall service. Then they informed me that, I had to pay 225 for engine diagnostics because the recall set off my check engine light. This was followed by a long list of repairs that totalled nearly 6000 all said and done. Nearly all the repairs on their report were addressed when I bought the Truck. I am not one to write bad reviews but sometimes you get pushed beyond the breaking point. I work for a company that has multiple vehicles in our fleet. We had a van that the engine seized. We had it towed to Schomp Ford in July 2021. The van sat until September of 21. They diagnosed the problem (it needed a new engine) and repair was approved with a target date Halloween. October came and went, was promised it by Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving nothing, now we are shooting for New Years. I am getting all kinds of excuses, COVID, guys quitting, we are super busy etc. I finally get a call from Miguel in Service who says the van is ready. The orginal quote was $12K, we added almost $2k in supplements which I approved. I am expecting $14K. Miguel sends me final bill and it is almost $16K. When I ask, he says they forgot to add in the catalytic convertor. OOPS. I told him that this is his error not mine, only after threatening to call the GM of the dealership, they decide to eat the cost. When I arrive to pick up the van, it is dead as a doornail and they have to jump start it. Even though I told them I was coming down. Overall the worst experience I have had with a dealership and our company (which is nationwide) will not be using the Schomp brand for service on any of our vehicles. I recommend that you go to another dealership for any Ford Maintainence. read more
