This place is ridiculous. The teachers are condescending and all they care about is getting your money. Typical New Age crap. Beware !!

Came out feeling relaxed , calm and grounded. The interior is dark and inviting with different places to sit and relax and drink hot tea afterwards . The float roam was clean. Had a shower and submerged myself in the pool . Didn't really fall asleep but felt like I was submerged into a warm cocoon of comfort . It got dark but I asked for the music to stay on . It was cozy and so so relaxing . The guides Lilia and Jesus were welcoming and informative. I am actively looking to go back as I type this

Float STL - Midtown is located off Locust Street where there's metered street parking. This was a…read morelate birthday treat for my dad, and he had never been prior to this. My last visit was in 2023 for my birthday. Upon entering, you are met with the soothing smells of a spa. The best way I can describe it is like the smell of a Hilton Hotel hallway. You have to take off your shoes and leave them at the door, so don't be like me and wear flip-flops, because otherwise you will be barefoot on the floor. Our guide was Jesus, who was very peaceful, kind, and explained everything to us. He even was able to give me booties I could wear, although he stated that their floors are very clean. He was barefoot himself. I believe him, but I am super paranoid. Anyway, they had a few additions to the spa since my last visit, such as an infrared sauna, a cold plunge tank, and zero-gravity massage chairs. He gave us a tour of these offerings after we consumed our tea. After we used the restrooms, he gave us a tour of our pods. I felt like Jesus did a wonderful job of explaining to my father how to enter and exit the pod and making sure he had what he needed prior to entering so that he could enjoy his experience. You have to take a shower before you enter and after you exit the pod. Lights and music are optional, as is closing your pod versus leaving it open. There is a bottle of fresh water to spray on your face should salty water get near your eyes. With the salt volume, you shouldn't get salt in your eyes unless you fall asleep in there and turn really fast like you're in bed or in a rotisserie oven. They also provide earplugs to keep the water out and petroleum jelly should you have minor open cuts. The water should only come up to your chin or right below your ear when you're on your back. There is a halo you can rest your head on if you can't trust your head to stay afloat (which it will). They have monthly membership packages should you want to self-care each month as well. After our session, we had another cup of tea and then had some brunch. Let me not forget their powder room has just about anything you could need after such a relaxing experience and their hair conditioner loves my curls! I have always enjoyed my experiences at this location and in Maryland Heights. They have amazing guides and create such a curated experience for their guests.

She is effortless in her teaching, and speaks as if she's a friend guiding your body from shape to shape. There's no pretense to her presence, just authenticity and a true passion for what she does. I moved away from a very strong yoga practice and community back home at a studio I adore, and this place already feels like home away from home. The practice space: Thoughtfully appointed with a laid back feel, it's a perfect space to flow. The ceilings are tall, light is abundant, and there's plenty of wall space for an end-of-class legs up the wall savasana. Juicy. Lots of plants and greenery, plus wood and gauzy curtains that lend a very breezy energy. At a glance appears to have space for 15-20 mats (give or take). Logistics: There's one restroom shared by a few wellness businesses in the communal hallway. Entry to the space requires walking up a flight up stairs - there's no elevator that I've been able to find. Parking: Ample street parking - and directly across from Schnucks, so it's perfect to get some weekend or evening grocery shopping done after class. Extras: The community seems to interact with one another and know each others names and faces. Very friendly studio, options galore. Lots of options given and all levels of experience in class. Can't wait to keep coming back again and again!

I researched yoga studios and loved the feel and messages on Shanti's social media feeds. That was 2022 and now I am a devotee and found an AMAZING community that goes beyond the mat. The teachers inspire me, the two locations are designed to transport you into a zen state of mind, quality equipment, and creative workshops. I could go on and on, but looking forward to my upcoming 200th class and beyond!
