My only suggestion is for the staff to utilize technology more, like post events and the summer reading program dates online to reference at the patrons' convenience. I would also like to be able to renew books online, too. It is a drive for us out here in the country and the overdue fee is hefty compared to some other libraries, plus the hours are limited. If it were not for the lack of useful technology that could easily work around these other obstacles, this would be a 5 star library in my 'book'.

They have a good sized children's books section which is highlighted by a very large doll collection. You can't miss it! Apparently the doll collection was donated to the library and features a lot over very interesting and different dolls. Carolyn helped us get that done super quick, and she was very pleasant and friendly. The membership was free and all that was required was a photo I'd proving our Texas residence. They had a good number of computers available, and each document cost 25 cents to print. I didn't explore much, but from where we were sitting but I could see a good size kids library area, several private rooms for studying or media use. They aren't huge as far as book selection, but they had a lot to choose from. They also have a DVD section and an audiobook section. Also there is a nice looking covered porch area with tables and chairs. It would be nice to sit out there during cooler weather.

This is world class! -Here are some of the amenities: a business center, a teen center, a children's center, a historical center, private rooms to reserve, a conference room, a quiet reading room, an area in the lobby you can eat and talk, and much, much more! -I've found the library ee's friendly and helpful. The overall vibe is good. Lots of families, students, and older folks--a hive of activity. Highly recommended!

I love our library! Despite being an older building, it is very well maintained and feels like a…read morenew structure. It offers a special teen section where anyone can peruse for a book, but only teens can sit and enjoy the dimmed and subdued atmosphere. This is quite the opposite for the bright and open children's section with a massive offering of books for the littles, ages 0 and up. Board books, picture books, short bed time stories, classic fairy tales, and the longer fare you might remember from elementary and middle school. Also with on this section, you will find a large meeting space for groups and readings, and a smaller play room you can book for play dates or just to get your gaggle of kids out of the house. They also sponsor the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program as a push to promote parent involvement in their kids' early literacy. I haven't used the facility's other meeting rooms and study carousels, but they have much to offer the community.

This is the type of structure and experience you'd expect in NYC, London, and the likes. Absolute perfection. I love the way the book sections and categories are divided and set up on various floors. Each floor is crazy spacious with loads of comfortable reading areas, tables, areas for rest, etc. There are private meeting rooms, a cafe, gift shop, an art gallery, rooftop deck with crazy good views of the city and Ladybird Lake, a children's library called 'Wonderland', an events center and so much more. The librarians and staff are extremely helpful, friendly, and not bothered if you need assistance locating a book. They have almost everything you could possibly be looking for to read whether for research or fun. Access to laptops and computers. Lots of charging areas for media and phones. The library is a true marvel. It makes me happy to see and know that ALL are welcome, especially the unhoused who would otherwise not have a place to go in extreme temps. I got my library card today and turned in my voter registration forms. The ladies at the front desk were both so amazing and friendly. The upstairs area has study spaces and plenty of books. The study rooms are spacious and clean. There are so many great resources to explore and the librarians were so happy to share. There are movie nights events, a silent book club, puzzle fun, and much more. Upstairs there is an area for plant propagation and a car you can complete if you have a plant question. You can check out the availability of your book online and reserve it, and they will put it in a special place for you. However, I love going through and just looking through the books and finding my book myself . There's something special about a book! When the book is due to be returned, they generously text you and ask if they can extend the rental, the avoiding charges for forgetting to return a book! There are events that are held at the library, such as concerts and other gatherings. They are posted in the front of the library. You should go look at them. This has become my new regular place. I am now reading a book series and it's so nice that I don't have to buy the book. I just read a book and I bring it back and I get the next one and in the meantime I'm certain to make a new friend! They have a children's section that just looks amazing. They even have a Jeep in there for the children to play! It is modified to be completely safe. There's no risk here. They have an elevator so you don't have to take the stairs to the second floor if you don't want to.
