I have always taken very good care of my teeth & upon being able to finally get in with for a consultation, he did not see the tooth to be in need of same & referred me for dry needling shots as my insurance paid for it & assured me would resolve the issue. After several months of the treatments, I realized it was not fixing the problem at all. My immediate attempts to make an appt with Dr McClure (Lauren) were hopeless...Was advised would be 4 wks as 2 of his associates had left practice & he was short-staffed. Thank God I found Gerich Endodontists in Jacksonville who immediately started taking steps to resolve & save my tooth....CARING, PROFESSIONAL & SO DIFFERENT THAN ST.JOHNS ENDODONTISTS. I have posted on every Social Media site in this avenue/areas of the dental/medical field. After working 35+ years in the Finance Corp Mgmt field & always having cleanings every 6 months, taking VERY good care of my teeth, I am surprised St. Johns Endodontists retains him as I am sure other individuals have been impacted by his lack of care for any patient. Referring a patient out for a questionable treatment does not resolve the root problem and shows the lack of integrity of St. Johns Endodontists overall by this Endodontist..... I have had so many people reach out to me since posting across my Social Media about Dr. McClure's uncaring, unprofessional nature, outrageous costs, postponed or erroneous information given to them, one even today that stated that once he found out she had no dental insurance her fees doubled, as well as the "consultation quote." What a shame St. Johns Endodontists would employ such an individual in the dental/medical avenues. Initially I thought I was going to need three teeth pulled but Dr. Robinson recommended only two and explain to me the reason why he was going to recommend two instead of whole three. I also explained my need for deep cleaning and he took the time to measure the gums when I didn't have an appointment for that so that I could get my deep cleaning to coincide with my teeth that needed to be pulled since I need to be sedated because I'm a big baby They were pretty quick to get me scheduled in within two weeks. And well, they don't accept my insurance or they are considered out of network with my insurance. They will go ahead and file all of the paperwork for me. The office staff was extremely friendly. The doctor was very knowledgeable and the doctor also called my dentist while I was waiting on the price quote to make sure that my dentist and him were on the same page. Not excited to have my teeth pulled or the deep cleaning, but I'm very happy that I was referred to this place. I love the type of sedation they give you because it's not IV. I was very impressed by her concern. I've moved this review up to three stars. I found Dr. Meymand out of a desperate search for ANY oral surgeon that could pull my wife's painful wisdom tooth within the next few days. Well, they fit us in - barely. She waited three hours to be seen. The operation itself went smoothly enough. But after a few weeks, she developed pain in the other tooth. We wondered why the doc hadn't recommended pulling the other one as well, but maybe she couldn't have known. Regardless, not wanting to repeat the waiting room experience, we found another surgeon in town that could do it, and for a few hundred less. Then the worst came. When we asked for Dr. Meymand's X-rays to send to the other provider, the office denied that they had ever seen my wife. They claimed they could not find her in the system, even searching by birthdate.

The way the doctor speaks to and treats her employees in front of patients is incredibly rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. No patient should have to sit and witness employees being spoken to in such a demeaning manner. What was even more concerning was the complete lack of empathy and compassion shown toward patients. An oral surgery appointment can already be an extremely stressful and anxiety-inducing experience, and patients deserve to feel heard, respected, and cared for. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. The overall environment felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. A medical professional should lead by example, treat their staff with respect, and show compassion toward the people trusting them with their care. Based on my experience, I would recommend avoiding this office and finding an oral surgeon who genuinely values both their patients and their employees.
