My father died of colon cancer and carcinomatosis only 3 and a half months after being diagnosed. We were very eager to get out of the house he died in and move my mother to Nashville to be with me. When first speaking with the men at CSSI we were told there would be a 3 week to 1 month wait. Upon explaining our situation and our need to be out of this house, they made arrangements to help us immediately. Not only were they very sensitive to our situation, they really came through for us. The people at CSSI are genuinely good people. They care and it shows. Lee is the upstanding man we worked with and he got our hardwood ready in a week so we would be ready to move in by our move in date. The house is beautiful and they did an absolutely amazing job. We consider Lee a friend now, he really went above and beyond. Below I have attached before pictures of the carpet and after photos of the wood.

Originally, the price was $2000-$3000 and he kept asking about homeowners insurance. I told him I wasn't filing it on homeowners ins and suddenly the price came down to $635. hmmm.... price gouging much? So, I hire them. The first contractor comes out to my house and, quite literally, ripped up the particle board. We're talking about jagged edges everywhere that you couldn't even get to with a saw. The next day, a different contractor comes out, who is not happy to see this mess. So, he does his best (minimally) to correct it. The third day, they bring in another guy to help them. We're now on the 4th day. There are 3" jagged spaces between the cut particle board and the ripped out part, which they say they'll patch. By all accounts, when the first guy messed it up, they should have pulled the cabinets and replaced what he messed up, but instead, they'd rather patch and go the cheap route. I should also mention that they shattered my oven door when moving the stove and tried to get out of paying for it. I ended up splitting it with them, but I am not pleased

My experience with Junkdrop was dismal and unprofessional. I used their services several weeks ago and it will be the last time. They dropped off all of our things at a woman's home; they literally dropped it in her front yard. The homeowner found our name amongst the pile of rubbish and called my husband complaining about our stuff being dumped in her yard. He had to explain that it was Junkdrop that did this and we had nothing to do with it. What a debacle and embarrassment to their company. There was also no offer of refunding the expensive costs we incurred. We will not use them again, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend them anymore.

Every person that we dealt with was kind and patient, offered care and direction every step of the way. From the care of the deceased, the help setting up for the viewing, moving the flowers to the burial site, the staff was wonderful and helpful and kind. The funeral home itself is a it dated, but in the way that feels like home, comfortable, cozy, like grandma's house. There were several conveniently located bathrooms near the main viewing rooms and a kitchenette/coffee & cake room up a short flight of stairs for snacks and drinks and taking a breather from the greeting of the visits. Sadly Grandpa's passing marks the last of the family that will use the services of Phillips-Robinson. But only because we don't have any more family in Nashville.
