Hello, I tried to contact your office today to find out when I would be receiving a reminder about my appointment, which I never received a reminder about. I have unfortunately been sick longer than most with a severe case of COVID for over a month. I have repeatedly rescheduled due to COVID but was not my intent to waive my reminder. I have also had a sick child in the hospital due to diabetic ketoacidosis. (Ana should look that up when she's not harassing patients and would see that is life threatening). When I called in I saw that my appointment was actually set for today. I requested to still be seen today since an hour was set aside for me and was prepared to run over but I was rudely told by Ana that was not possible to come between 2-3pm as scheduled regardless of being charged a late fee and appointment for that time. I have been a patient of this practice for many decades and before this with Dr. Redler. I have had enough with this office and your unaccommodating, unhelpful staff, and inflexible office policies even during a pandemic and medical emergencies. I requested to speak to Scott, office manager but was denied. Then I requested to speak with Schuster but was also denied and told I could reach out to him on my own. I was told I could not speak with him via his office number and she would not give his cell number which I didn't even ask for or expect to get!?! I have never had access to leave a message to have my own doctor call me denied. Your rude part time receptionist Ana needs a lesson in customer service and compassion. She straight away told me that everyone is not contagious after having COVID a week and should come to their appointments after COVID even if they are still sick and symptomatic with cough and congestion which makes having your teeth cleaned IMPOSSIBLE. This office has become a dental clinic and no longer a private practice, sadly. This practice cares nothing more for patients and is only concerned with collecting from patients. That is the message being delivered to your patients. No more compassion or understanding. This is a business first and foremost and the office staff delivers that message loud and clear, patient care is secondary to money. They also don't identify themselves when they do text you, which furthers the impersonal and nameless experience they provide. The little niceties and personal touch are non-existent and they are just arrogant and impersonal upfront with zero compassion and talk over you. Ironically, Dr. Schuster and the hygienists are quite the opposite, chatty and friendly. There is an apparent disconnect between them and the front office staff which unfortunately you have to get through to be seen. Not worth the stress! read more

Entering Dr. Ochoco's office, I instantly noticed the attention to detail in his office space. Immediately, a wave of relief came over me as I knew I chose the right dentist. Clearly he has an eye for design & aesthetics, which meant I could most definitely trust him with my dental needs! Dr. Schuster has been my dentist for a long, long time. He is as professional as they come. He has a very soft touch and it is obvious, the first time you step into his office suite, that he and his staff are top-notch and practice state-of-the art dentistry. I've had a few procedures over the years; i.e., fillings and capped teeth. The only way I can describe the procedures I've had is that they were all easy going, calm and absolutely pain free. Dr. "Roger" has an upbeat personality. He always smiles and is an expert at putting one at ease. Over the years, I have recommended Dr. S. to co-workers and family. For most people, like me, going to the dentist can be intimidating because we're all guilty of not being as good to our teeth as we should be. Dr. Ochoco and his team were really good at making me feel comfortable. I went for a routine teeth cleaning but ended up doing a deep cleaning after seeing what needed to be done through the x-ray results. Before they proceeded, they answered all the whys I had instead of just insisting to do what needed to be done. I've been in a few dental offices where they don't really take the time to explain. Apart from this, they also taught me how to avoid them from recurring. I did not feel discomfort one bit. They were very gentle and talked to me through the entire thing! Apart from the amazing, friendly, super helpful staff - which by the way should tell you how good the work environment is, the office was nicely decorated. I mean, the small details that takes away that intimidating dental office vibes were everything. It's very important for spaces to be relatable to all ages and they found a great balance and did just that. No detail was compromised, down to the packaging of their giveaway kit.
