They sent pathology sample to lab that doesn't not participate with my insurance and I received a hefty bill. I bring my client here for his dermatology appointments and each visit is smooth with no problems and he enjoys the service they give him. The little things make this office and practice stand out though. The lobby music, fridge filled with water and even candy dish for little ones (or those with a sweet tooth) is a really nice touch. The office is clean and nicely lit, giving it a welcome atmosphere. When making appointments via phone, the staff are always very courteous and helpful. The front desk staff are also very nice, so customer service is a strong focus for the practice I can tell and I appreciate. The actual medical staff are nice too which is important for me and my client who can be difficult to understand when it comes to his needs. One strange thing I find is the service costs can vary from office to office, for example as I understand it the Hoboken office standard visit can carry a higher cost. Why? i had a mohs procedure yesterday. i had a lot of pain. without getting into the details, i needed a call back from the millburn group and they said i would hear back that morning. i never heard from their "clinical" team. I went to my internist and he diagnosed the problem and pain i was experiencing. it's a total factory!!! when you call you can tell its a factory. you are not even getting the office. you are getting "the schweiger group" powers from above. My body scan took approximately 1 minute as i stood and the doctor ran a flash light up and down my legs and arms and said all good. i brought a bump i had on my ear to his attention (not that he checked) and referred to his mohs surgeon. the sugery seemed to go well but who knows what my ear will look like like in time. read more

This has become a conglomerate and one of the most disorganized medical offices I have ever come across. Office could not locate their lost commuication files, difficult to make verbal as well as email and fax contact. Fax numbers cannot even be located in any location on their websites or internet. Their "policies", as I was told by them, do not allow them to directly contact other physicians; even if you want them to and give permission which I found necessary. I would recommend staying away from this practice. Went for an emergency appointment as I was having a horrible allergic reaction. Was overcharged by ~$150 dollars after this appointment , and wasn't notified of the fact until I asked for an itemized bill. This establishment is a chop shop booking as many as possible and does NOT care about the individuals needs, which is evident by the high volume of people waiting in the waiting rooms. I paid for a service. It has been well over a month and the hyperplasia is still there. My visit was very rushed. I am not exaggerating when I say I do not think Ms. Tank spent more than 3 minutes in the room. I followed instructions of keeping clean, yet days after one of the bumps became infected. I made a virtual appt with another provider within Schweiger and she prescribed antibiotics. I also shared with her my dissatisfaction with my visit. Let me begin by saying I love Anita Fox (6 years), and I have always had pleasant experiences with the front office staff. So, this post is really about the Call Center whom I have had problems with when scheduling appointments. I never experienced any issues scheduling appointments prior to COVID. Yesterday, for a second time I had an appointment scheduled (one hour was what I needed, but a ten minute time slot was all that was scheduled) and had to reschedule. Imagine my surprise because I told the representative when making the appointment the reason for the appointment. It was one of the worst front desk experiences I have ever had at a Drs office. I booked 2 appointments on ZocDoc for me and my husband. We got confirmation emails and text messages starting from the day we booked it to the day of our appointment confirming. It made sure WE wouldn't forget!! We both took off of work to make it there and booked it weeks ago cause we are going overseas and really needed to be looked at for some skin concerns before we left but now that can't happen. When we arrived the front desk girl said my appointment was cancelled but my husbands was not. Well I showed her my confirmation emails and morning texts but when I tell you she would not believe me and continued to say I cancelled my appointment. She argued with me and never once said I'm sorry our system clearly doesn't work or anything would have been better than arguing with me that I cancelled. If I have 100% proof I didn't cancel you would think she could have just said wow the system didn't work correctly. Or sorry would have been amazing!! Even telling a manager they may want to look into this computer error that would have been awesome!! I am a grown woman and literally got so frustrated I almost started crying. When you are right and someone doesn't want to believe you it really gets so upsetting. She not only argued with me but took 2 other patients in between this confusion when the other girl was helping them. So now I just said fine whatever you say but can you please get us both in?? Well of course they could not because now it's 20min later!! If she had not taken 2 other patients and argued with me she could of easily took us both in!! So I told her please I need the appointment more than my husband. It was crazy this office just lost a super easy patient for no reason and absolutely could of cared less!!!! Then we walk into the room and a nurse says only my husband can get done and I said no it's going to be me like I told the front desk. With a very nasty demeanor she said we can't do you cause I have your husbands name here. I said no it's supposed to be me cause there was a mistake as I told the front desk girl. She said she has nothing to do with that and can't take me. I mean can anyone in this office please just be a little nice and help me get my appointment that I clearly scheduled!!! I'm sure this is not how the owners train their staff. The PA was very nice but seriously after being treated so badly it's just not worth it. After all of this she was not able to remove my mole anyway cause she said a plastic surgeon needs to do it. So really my husband could have gotten done after all of this chaos. I feel bad for him cause he really needed to see the Dr too. I would tell you guys there are so many other Dermatology Offices around that I'm sure would be pleasant to you!! Nobody should be treated poorly for absolutely no reason. We were very excited to be finally be there and again a simple Sorry would have gone such a long way. We will never be back and will never recommend any of our family/friends/customers either. After my visit, and several months later the office charged me an additional fee from an account that I had no idea about and they did not make me aware of until after it was sent to a collection agency. It's difficult to find a dermatologist who takes insurance and has availability. Most have shifted to doing cosmetic procedures as it's more lucrative and increasingly in demand. After calling around to several dermatologists in the Chatham, Florham Park and Livingston area, I called this Schweiger location. It was such a relief to find this gem of an office. Immediately on the phone I had a completely different experience than other locations. The person on the phone was kind, personable, knowledgeable and didn't put me on hold (so many offices put me on hold for extended times only to them hang up/connect me to another patient!). They also texted me with cancellations in case I wanted to reschedule for an earlier date than the appointment I had made. The office is easy to get to (the outside of the building is ugly but who cares?) There is ample parking, and the office is on the first floor right next to the entrance. The waiting room was clean and bright, front desk staff rapid, kind and efficient. Dr Kimberly Ruhl as well as her nurse/assistant were very professional with great bedside manner. I brought my daughter to Anita Fox and explained that 3 Board Certified Doctors had incorrectly diagnosed her with back acne. The only physician who correctly identified the problem one year as fungal acne had unfortunately left her practice, but the medicine she prescribed was very effective. Ms. Fox didn't listen, insisted my daughter had acne, insisted on my giving her several acne medications. When I called a few months later to explain my daughter's back was very inflamed and I was worried about the medicine, she didn't bother to talk with me. She directed the office admin. to send me a text to follow up in three weeks at an appointment. Fast forward to another doctor we're seeing, who has been treating my daughter correctly and seeing great results with her fungal-treatment plan. Don't bother with this group. good physician service but TERRIBLE billing system. provided my insurances at the front desk so they have them on file, yet received bill in mail because insurance never received a claim. spoke to agents over the course of months, submitted the insurances several times to them via their online system, agents confirmed they received the insurance and the bill would be on hold until insurance received it. waited one month, called insurance who said they never received the claim. called the agents again to ask why it was not sent over to insurance and the hold status, they told me the bill is being sent to collections now. after ten+ phone calls to work and get the insurance on file and have the claim sent, they never sent over the claim and are now sending the bill to collections, while they told me it would be placed on hold until they called me back. i have no idea what to do now as they say they will send the claim to insurance but never did and are now forcing me to pay. This is a long overdue review. I thought I already reviewed it but I guess it slipped by me. First of all I was able to make an appointment online. All of the doctors and their availability was online, so you could select exactly who you want or who you were referred to. I was referred to dr. Seib and he is only available once a week. But from the moment I came into that office I was already enjoying myself. It's very modern high-end high-tech and luxurious. The receptionist at the front or friendly and professional. Then I was met by the doctor's assistant, I can't remember her name. She brought me to the back and ask me a lot of questions and did a a thorough history take from me. Then here comes the doctor. Oh what a personality he is. Not only is he personality he has a great bedside manner but most importantly he's able to get to the point of your problem diagnosis treated and give a prognosis. Unfortunately I missed my follow up in November due to a traveling conflict out of town. But I will be back soon, and I recommend everyone to go see him. Also, it is worth noting that I am African-American with brown skin and he was very much aware and educated on the complexities of brown skin and chemical treatments.
