I have gone to several of them, and she is by far the best. A true professional of her specialty, she is very clean and conscious of protecting her client's skin. It is a one-woman operation, but why are we holding that against her. Most electrolysis is one-person operations, or they work alongside a dermatologist. Appointments are hard to get because many people seek her services. In my opinion, you should only treat an area every two weeks to allow for healing, which means that once you start your first treatment, the next one would be two weeks after. I have never had an issue finding an appointment if you follow that pattern. Her prices are fair, I have been charged more for the same amount of time, and the person was less thorough. She is excellent electrolysis, but you can't expect final results after one treatment or several. That is not how hair works. They are resistant, and if you want, then gone forever; you have to stick with the process without interrupting it.

I should've known the second I walked in and seeing the amount of cosmetic and medspa offerings this not a legitimate functional medicine office. My first appointment I came in then did a BMI assess ment, took vitals, and then I met with Daiva who is one of their nurse practitioners. She listened to my symptoms as I explained what I've been experiencing with no changes and only seeming to get worse. She wrote down everything I mentioned and noted that I would need to come back for testing as no one told me prior to this appt I should've been fasting for lab work. I then came back about a week later, had an insane amount of blood taken for testing, urine test, and H. Pylori testing done. When I came back a few weeks later for a 2pm appointment I waited for over 20 minutes before anyone took me back and then additional testing was done prior to going over results with Daiva. A metabolic breathe test was done and then an ultrasound of my leg veins was done. I was assured that the ultrasound was a free screening and would not be charged. I have been monitoring my insurance to make sure that is true. I was already annoyed because at this point I had been here an hour and still not gone over my results. Finally we make it to the back and they are taking my vitals again and weight, then going back to see Daiva for all my results. This took about another hour to go over everything. My boyfriend came with me as he wanted to see if they could find out any updates and then determine if he should start coming here as a patient as well. He was even more annoyed that I was that we had been there for 2 hours and could not answer anything of my sickness and instead suggested I do additional testing that I had requested to do in the first place and would be all out of pocket costs. The only thing the lab work came back with was every vitamin in my body was very low and below the optimal functional range. They did not do the GI mapping like I had requested or glyphosphate testing. When I brought it to Daiva's attention that my allergist found out that my histamine levels are extremely high it maybe affecting my gut health and DAO enzyme productivity. Her response is "what is a DAO enzyme" once I heard that and all the specific testing I wanted was not done I knew this was a money grab functional medicine scam. They sent me home with over $500 worth of supplements and she recommended I start taking them all immediately. For someone who is depleted of these vitamins wouldn't taking all these doses at once send the body into shock? I followed up with my PCP, allergist, and a legit functional medicine doctor. They agreed most if not all of the herbal supplements they sent me home with were completely unnecessary. Very disappointed in what seems to be a money grab scam and there was still not clear diagnosis of my symptoms or what maybe even causing them. Very frustrating as i am still not feeling well and was hoping they would be able to say it was a gut imbalance or some type of parasite. Not to mention even more concerning that a patient knows more than their provider about gut health and enzyme. DO NOT GO HERE FOR FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE! I will be monitoring my insurance and credit card charges to make sure they are not continuing to charge me.

I had a mole under my eye that had started bleeding. Of course I googled, and everything I read said go straight to dermatologist. I found Dr. Gold and made an appointment for a skin exam. He glanced at my Mole with the naked eye from about 2 feet away and said it looked fine. Since I had read that bleeding was a problem I asked how he knew. He replied 'how do you know how a website works?' (I'm a web developer.) Meaning, I'm a professional, so don't question my judgement. He told me it wasn't a problem mole, but I could have it removed for cosmetic reasons if I ever wanted to. Long story short, about a year or so later my sister kept complaining about how disgusting it looked so I decided to get it removed. Thank goodness Dr Gold didn't take my new insurance so I went to a different professional to have it removed. She looked at it with some sort of magnify thing and seemed to have an immediate feeling that out was probably going to test positive for being a basal cell. It hadn't grown out changed much since my visit with Dr Gold. It tested positive and has been surgically removed. EVEN CRAZIER, I was telling this story to a co-worker and she was telling me this story that happened to her about 10 years ago where she went to a dermatologist and the guy had just a big know it all attitude and told her she was wasting her money to do a skin exam because she was Italian.
