I had a chemical peel and fizzed in one spot under my eye. It left 3 red bumps which were there for a year and just started to go away..

Two weeks ago, I had my lips dissolved with my preferred specialist, Monica, and booked a refill appointment for October 4 at 12pm with Kelly (since Monica was out of office). I started my commute from NYC to the Verona location, but found it odd I never received a reminder -- so I called, only to learn that my appointment was never actually booked, despite scheduling it over the phone 2.5 weeks ago. They managed to squeeze me in later in the day with Megan. However, when I arrived just five minutes past their 10-minute grace period (after calling ahead to let them know I'd be slightly late), I was told I had missed my appointment and the most she could offer was a conversation -- not the actual service. I found this incredibly disappointing and frustrating, especially given the effort it takes to travel from NYC without a car, and the fact that I've been a loyal client for years. It's unfortunate to end things on this note, but I can no longer recommend Montclair Rejuvenation Center after today's experience.

Have recently changed to a different Laser Away location because of my experience at this location…read more Overall, the nurses and nurse practitioners who have done my laser services have been wonderful and I thank them! My experience was more so lacking and disappointing due to the customer service end of things. To start, on my 1st appointment was "tricked" into changing my package as a sale was going on. I was told that my legs would be FREE with the current promotion they were running. I was handed a tablet to sign but was not told or shown any price and didn't think at the time (which in hindsight I realize was naive) that I would be paying anything as I was told it would be FREE. When I called the center afterwards and Comenity - there was no way to undo this. So from the start, I was not happy but I still continued to attend the location afterwards - chalking it up to me being naive and not asking questions but the frustrations continued. Very often I would arrive to my appt and be told I would have to wait longer due to staff being out. I understand this happens but it was quite frequent and I would have preferred a call or prior notice. A lot of times I'd have other plans afterwards or work that would be affected. One time; I also wasn't even able to do all my services because my appointment time was delayed by so much. My last disappointment where I decided it was time to find a new location was back in February. As you know we've had a very harsh and brutal winter. This location opens at 10 and I had my appt at that time. I arrived 10 minutes early, which is standard for me and i believe the right thing to do. I arrived to the door the same time as a worker. She looked at me with a not so nice or approachable look and I said "Hi, I have a 10 appointment, am I too early?" And she said "yes!" And just let herself in- although there were two other works inside and a lobby/waiting area. I was definitely upset because it was freezing out and I could've been waiting inside. Initially I thought maybe this person was a manager or maybe needed time to get things in order before opening, but again, there were two other women sitting inside at the front desk. In addition, I come to find out she was one of the nurses - as she performed my services that day, which was so awkward. I was very upset after the interaction and thought it was very unprofessional and not a good example of customer service ESP considering the harsh cold and turning me away. But I am not a rude person and would never make a big ordeal, so I just took the mental note and as mentioned earlier this you could say was my final straw and I knew I needed to find another location. The main reason I am sharing my experience is so no one else gets conned into a "free" service and then be financially responsible to pay more. This is the most disheartening part of my entire experience. I understand that this not reflective as the entire company - as I had a great first appointment at another location.

I don't recommend CoolSculpting--or any services--at LaserAway. My appointments were rescheduled…read morethree times due to vague "staff emergencies," at both the Hoboken and Clifton locations. For the price, the experience and results just weren't worth it. My original appointment was scheduled for April 29, but got canceled due to a "double booking." I wasn't able to reschedule until a month later due to travel. That rescheduled appointment, now set for May 26 at a different location, also got canceled--again due to staff issues. (It also happened to be Memorial Day weekend, which made the situation feel even more avoidable.) I finally had my first session on June 6, over a month later than planned. The staff was nice, but honestly, the procedure was so basic I could've done it myself. The sales pitch made it seem like you needed a nurse practitioner to avoid risks like "polyps" or poor results, but the process was extremely simple and the difference was barely noticeable. Definitely not worth the hype or the price tag. I scheduled my second appointment for July 25, the earliest possible based on their 30-day policy--but surprise, it got canceled too due to another "clinical staff emergency." I was told one of the two clinicians was in a car accident (which is awful, of course), but it's pretty concerning that they only have two staff members handling everything. I'm now booked for August 7 in Hoboken. Today is July 24. Let's see if they cancel on me a fourth time. What started as something I hoped to complete by May might not even finish by August. Save your time and money--go somewhere private and more professional. This chain is just not it.

I became a patient of this dermatology practice after my former doctor its owner closed her…read morepractice and sold it to this group. Metropolitan dermatology is a conglomerate of 20 dermatology practices purchased around the state. It is not managed by doctors it managed by office staff that are not medical professionals. My recent visits indicate that it is the bottom line rather than patient care that is the priority of the new owners. .There are only two doctors on site Dr. Patel and Dr. Cohen. Dr. Cohen only works one day a week (He is a holdover from the old office). On previous office visits with Dr. Patel, I had good experiences. However, last month (December 2024] after making an appointment, confirming that appointment, taking sick time off and arriving on time, I was told they did not have the supplies necessary to provide the treatment I had sought. Dr. Patel was very apologetic, but I was significantly inconvenienced and ended up burning half of a sick day for my trouble. I rebooked the appointment for January - Dr. Patel offered me a discount for the cost. Because of risk of infection, I was advised to postpone any dental work for the January appointmen, so I did. I scheduled sick time & confirmed my appointment 2 days in advance. I attired on time and was told after a 30 minute wait that the supplies that were necessary for my treatment were not on site and they would be brought from Paramus. Dr. Patel told me it would only take 15 minutes for the drive. This of course was ridiculous because nobody can drive from Paramus to Cedar Grove at 3 o'clock in the afternoon in 15 minutes. I was furious. She was apologetic and admitted she's only an employee and has no role in managing the practice. A lame excuse and not helpful. Apparently, the "managers" shuttle medical supplies back-and-forth between the offices, presumably for cost containment. In my case, A special syringe was required for the procedure and it was moved to Paramus Even though the appointment was confirmed. In fact, the "manager" moved all the syringes to Paramus. I told Dr. Patel beca of this second inconvenience in 30 days, I wanted a substantial discount for the services. She left the room and returned to renegotiate and counter offer. This was astonishing. She told me that the tech who was dispatched from Paramus would arrive in another 30 minutes. Suffice to say she did not arrive. I left the building. So, I have now burned 2 sick half-days - have not had the procedure and need to find myself in surgery of a new dermatologist. I strongly recommend that if you have anything other than a simple rash or a pimple, not to use this dermatology group. Dr. Patel is a cog in the wheel and she answers to offsite people who have little regard or patient's time or convenience. I will not go back.
