I first went to Schweiger Dermatology on a recommendation from my mother who is very particular and raved about the services she received after visiting countless dermatologists for for my acne problem. As soon as I walked into the New Rochelle office, I was greeted by Kamala who is very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The office setting is modern and extremely clean which I loved! I also see them at their Yonkers office, which is just as clean. I am seen by Merry Thornton and she has done wonders for my skin. She listens to your concerns and treats the problem with medication that actually work. Merry also follows up if you call with a concern. My skin has never looked better and I receive so many compliments. I highly recommend her, she really is amazing at what she does. read more

Great office. Easy to make an appointment. Great hours. So much flexibility. Everyone is so kind and caring. They listen when you talk, address your concerns, and answer all your questions. All this while I never felt rushed. It was never the Dr or PA had one hand in the door while answering my questions. Office is always clean. Staff is great. There's plenty of free parking. My experience with this dermatology office was frustrating a waste of my time. I met with Kaczmarski. I may have spelled it wrong, but who cares he spent all of maybe five minutes with me after a 45 minute wait in the sitting area and 10 minute wait in the office. I made an appt for eczema flares ups I had been experiencing on and off. They were very faint by the time I attended the appt and I also asked about a the removal of a couple of small birthmarks on my face. He came in the room and automatically his demeanor was very disinterested and bored to be there. I want to say he looked annoyed. He asked two questions as if he were going through the motions and gave me a sample sunblock cream for my eczema with no suggestions and told me to see a plastic surgeon for very small birthmarks on my face to be removed. I have only been to a dermatologist once in my life before this and the doctor was helpful, even decided upon visit to laser a small mark on my face. This physician assistant (maybe this is why) did absolutely nothing and actually informed me incorrectly about plastic surgery, when skin tags can be removed easily by dermatologist. To add insult to injury. I still had to pay a copay for getting no service or solution out of my visit. Don't waste your time with this office or at least request to not get this physician assistant. read more

I've been here several times to see Jarrett Kaczmarski, and he is wonderful. I had a terrible looking growth on the side of my nose that he removed, with follow-up treatment several months later. I've never had to wait long to be seen, and have also enjoyed interacting with Christina, the assistant, who is a real sweetie. The office is clean, bright and friendly, starting with the front desk person, whose name I don't remember. But she's wonderful, too... :) read more

I recently had an appt for my concerns about acne and scars caused by acne breakouts. I saw Chris Palines and I had a really positive experience. I've never had a provider sit down and really take the time to explain every little detail for me and address all of my concerns. It was very refreshing. I left the appointment feeling knowledgeable and confident about my new skin care regimen. At this visit, I also had a consultation for laser hair removal. I've only had one session at this point, but so far so good. I would definitely recommend going to this practice, especially for Chris Palines. read more

They confused me with someone else and continuously kept sending me notifications stating that I had appointments that I wasn't making. I told them multiple times that they have me confused with another patient and they continued to make the same mistake, and even charged my insurance for an appointment that wasn't mine. In addition to that every time I went, the dermatologist didn't even remember me or my reasoning for being there. read more

I've been going to this dermatology group for almost 2 years. I have received nothing but great attention in my needs as a patient. Today (08/20/2018) I was running late for my appointment due to my new baby's care. I have called to inform them of my lateness but they were able to give me an open available appointment at a later time. They are a very nice and friendly staff. They have been amazing and wonderful. For someone with acne, you go to the doctor to find a solution. Not to be constantly thrown medicine and creams at. Go to a doctor that will also want to help you treat things naturally, not just with the way that'll make them the most money. Doctors should know you can actually make your skin worse by constantly going on topical and oral treatments. Here they don't want to help you find a solution that may not bring them more money in. They've never even suggested other solutions such as diet changes or getting blood work to fix your acne, because those things wont cost anything. I asked for other solutions, because there ARE other solutions, but he told me creams and pills were it and that he couldn't think of another way to solve it.... I was mis diagnosed in this clinic. I have to see them for urgent reason and my dermatologist is away for a vacation. The practitioner or doctor did not even touch to assess my skin condition. Just asked me what did i do before this happened(its part of past medical assessment but not enough though)... I went to another dermatologist and they perform a thorough physical examination and given me a diagnosis and an appopriate treatment. I am working in the field of medicine too but how the doctor took care of me during the consultation is just below what medical professionals are expected for his practice. By the way, the doctors skin looks very nice on the other side and staff are ghetto too. Maybe very good for ADVERTISING. So think twice before you book your appointment. read more

I had the worst experience today at this office after seeking care for a serious skin condition. The doctor became flustered when I asked her questions about her recommendation, and she actually like a child, walked out the room because she did not want to answer the questions I asked about her NON treatment. I was appalled at her behavior. The first sign of incompetence was when she told me to not use the medication I was using , and gave me tubes of cream to apply to my face which made my condition worse. Today she asked me , " What was the name of the cream she gave me ?" . As a doctor doesn't she know or record this ? Then she stated we don't have the right chemistry so I should leave without her treating me, and after I paid for my co pay, and waiting for an hour ???? The real reason was I refused to take the patch test today, because i wanted to be treated for the spots I had on my face, and NOT take the patch test at this time.....which made sense to me, but she was inept to have a real conversation with a patient that had viable questions. Today was the first time I encountered a doctor as unprofessional, immature, spoiled, throw a tantrum, and unable to articulate herself in a professional manner. I was not treated after spending an hour in this place, and she refused to give me a prescription or would not own up to why she gave me creams previously to apply to my face that made my condition worse.
