Before this, I had been to the Yonkers Ave. location, which was a great experience. However, my wife left the appointment here utterly disappointed and discouraged. The moment she walked in, the medical assistants were engulfed in their conversation unrelated to work--alongside the PA while she waited to be attended to. They continued with no assurance or professionalism toward the workplace environment. Being an RN, my wife was appalled at the lack of professionalism from the medical assistants while the PA seemingly engaged alongside them despite how it might impact the experience of someone going there for the first time. When it was time for her to be seen, the PA did not conduct a thorough examination but stood from afar and told her she had traction alopecia without properly examining or taking the time to parse out potential causes. Once the appointment was over, the PA and medical assistant walked out and reinitiated their conversation while leaving my wife in the room without further instructions on where to go. This practice lacks proper decorum and is exceptionally unprofessional, with poor bedside manners from its providers. Suffice it to say we will never return to this location again.

Her care doesn't end at the office, she follows up with you to make sure everything is going well through every phase of the treatment. She's like the Britannica of Dermatology, literally. We drove 45 minutes to get here, even calling the office about 45 minutes in advance to let them know we would be running late because of police activity and major road construction. Despite that, when we arrived 16 minutes late, they flat out refused to see her. I explained the situation to the receptionist -- that my mother's condition makes travel very difficult and that this was part of an ongoing medical procedure. The response I got was cold and dismissive. The receptionist didn't care about anything other than the fact that I was "speaking loudly." She even threatened to call the cops because I raised my voice out of frustration, while showing zero empathy for the fact that my disabled mother had struggled to get there at all. The worst part? My mother had to hobble back in herself only to be told she shouldn't come back. Let's be honest -- this is what happens when you're a Medicaid patient and the doctor has a "God complex." Patients with the "right" insurance probably wouldn't be treated this way. Now we have to start the process all over again with another dermatologist, wasting more time and putting my mother through more stress than she should ever have to endure. If you value compassion, basic decency, or accessibility for people with serious health conditions -- do not come here. Make sure you have the "best" insurance and show up perfectly on time, because otherwise, you'll be treated horribly. This experience was demeaning, exhausting, and unnecessary.

I have consulted 2 other Drs and both said that Dr Goldberg was negligent and i should not have had 2 treatments a week apart. it did nothing other than unneccesarily radiate the skin. and he does't do image guided which is needed to verify the tumor is gone. I was not told this. I requested four times that Dr Goldberg call me to discuss but he refused. and i just received a large bill which i will not be paying!

I asked for any other date, as I am retired...her office assistant said the only opening was next month, aprox 3 weeks away. I explained to her, (the assistant) that the scratching has led to my bleeding in the affected areas. Sorry, next month. This is how literally every other medical office with whom I work does this. Also they have repeatedly provided receipts with none of the information you would need to claim it for FSA/HSA. It was super painful to try to get a real receipt. We've had to call them repeatedly to change our pharmacy for a prescription. Absolute incompetence.
