A great team of men installed quartz countertops but that's all I can give a good post for. Communication is a barrier. Good luck.

Kitchen & Bath LLC are incompetent plumbers, poor project planners, and OK bathroom tilers…read more Plumbing problems started during the planning phase, when they told me the sink did not need a an overflow, but I didn't think that was right, so I ordered one with an overflow. Thankfully I was correct, since the sink that they sell does have an overflow. I imagine other customers may have had big problems with the overflow after following their bad advice. I had to purchase the bath tub and bath fixtures. We had asbestos glue under the tile and a tub coated with lead, so I had an abatement company due the demo since Kitchen & Bath did not seem to have the expertise to do it. They claimed they could do it, but did not provide any licensing IDs for asbestos and lead removal. These additional costs are not included in the services provided by Kitchen & Bath and reviewed here. On the other hand, I removed the old plastic tub/shower wall cover and installed the mirror and light by myself. After the demo occurred, it was obvious that the plywood floor needed to be replaced. Alberto argued that they could install new plywood on top, but I disagreed. Mold and rot were a big problem, so I wanted it replaced. He delayed the project by 1 week because he was going on vacation and didn't trust his workers to take the floor out correctly without him around. No one from the company arrived at the time they said they would (early the first day, always late after). I work from home, and there was one day where I told them I had an appointment at 10:30, so they needed to show up before 10:30. They arrived at 10:30, when I was walking into the doctor's office. When I called the project lead (and owner) Alberto back after my appointment, he was incredibly rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. The tiling install guy was late by a few hours and worked until after 8 pm. I have 2 kids and I could not get them ready for bed while this guy was working. The drywall and paint guy always showed up several hours late and could never arrive at a specified time. One day the guys showed up to work for an hour and then left for the day. The project should have taken 9 days but took two weeks because of these late starts and poorly planned work days. There are several small defects that a good contractor would have fixed or avoided, like scraped paint or chipped cabinet surface. These were minor. Every plumbing fixture leaked after the install was complete: the shower, sink handles, and toilet, in that order. I had my own plumber fix it due to Kitchen & Bath's continued incompetence in this area, costing over $250. I am very angry that we decided to remodel the bathroom due to lead and water damage, only to have them improperly install the plumbing, potentially causing water damage. I forgot to get the certificate of insurance before starting the project, and when I asked for it after, they never responded. My insurance agent also asked for it, and they never responded. Now there's a BBB complaint, with still no resolution. I just want the insurance certificate. So if anyone is going to hire them to do anything, only let them do tiling. Hire your own plumber. And if you can, set a daily schedule in the contract.

"My experience with this company was not to my satisfaction. Please contact me directly if you'd…read morelike more details." This is what I posted after I was personally messaged by the owner of SCS to edit this review. It's worth mentioning that my updated review is being posted after the owner's remarks. Please hire SCS immediately! Call them right now! I definitely did not want to update this review. When the owner of SCS contacted me privately on Yelp, asking me to change my "harmful proclomations"[sic], I thought I would simply delete my review. I could not. I did not hire SCS. After the explosion of my neighbor's house in August 2016 severely damaged my home, my partner signed a contract with Aquire Restoration of Madison. Aquire hired SCS to perform tasks to repair our house. I met several SCS employees walking through our damaged home. Several of the SCS employees were very respectful, which I mentioned in my now deleted review. It is frustrating that I, the end user of SCS's purported services, need to "bring to light" the remarkable unprofessionalism of this company. The fact that it took over a year for the company to understand the inconsistent and appalling circumstances of some of their employees' work should give you a notion of how the company is operated. Apparently the owner of SCS takes no responsibility for the work executed by the company. Rather, the blame is somehow placed on the victims of the explosion itself and SCS's actions. I have never contacted SCS directly; they were hired by our remediation company, Aquire. Awareness and oversight of the work by SCS seems to me like a responsibility of senior staff, if not the owner, of SCS. Since my Aquire Restoration Project Manager was responsible for handling all sub-contractors, I never contacted any of our many sub-contractors personally. That was specifically the remediation work that we paid Aquire to do. Since much of our property had been destroyed, my partner and I had very many things to take care of. I sincerely hope none of you reading ever have to do the same. The owner of this company seems to have focused ire on me, a humble Yelp member. I've never met nor spoken to this person. I was told the owner was Brent, a person I saw twice over 18 months, and he seemed to be a very nice guy. I only learned about this owner when I was intimidated to change my Yelp review. It was not a public response. This owner contacted me privately through Yelp. I've certainly posted negative and positive reviews on Yelp before. That's sort of the point of the platform. We want to give other Yelp users an informed opinion of a business they might patron. Often owners that receive a negative review respond with an apology and an invitation to try them again. The fact that the owner of SCS is attacking me on Yelp should give you some idea of SCS's priorities. But please, pretty please, hire SCS to work on your home! They paint! They put up drywall wherever you want (even over your electrical outlet!). They might even kick a hole into your drywall (you know, for ventilation)! Hire them now! I really wish you would pay them money now. I hope your business would make them busy enough to leave me alone.

We had a relatively simple remodel job that should have taken 2-3 weeks (Max.) to complete. It took 4 months. The workmanship was shoddy at best. We would NEVER, under ANY circumstances recommend this company. In order to post this review, a rating must be given. So we are reluctantly giving them one star. If we could go into the minus category, that would be more appropriate
