I tried everything, but I couldn't safely get scissors between the string and her tiny tongue. Panicked, I rushed her to San Carlos Animal Hospital hoping someone could help. Even though they normally don't see baby chicks, the staff immediately went to ask the doctor if they could at least remove the string. The moment Dr. Steely came out, they quickly took my chick straight to the back, and within minutes he had the string removed using tiny precision scissors. The urgency, compassion, and kindness they showed for such a tiny little life absolutely amazed me. Everyone there was so wonderful through the entire process, and I'm incredibly grateful they took the time to help her so quickly. Thank you all so much for caring the way you do.

From the point one in our arrangement, I knew she is the most ideal candidate for the job. My cat is incredibly shy and does not trust people easily; she typically hides even when family members visit our house. To address that, Kirsten invested time in getting to know my Ema over the course of several acclimation visits, and each time establishing a closer contact with the cat. As a result of this, Ema bonded with Kirsten by the time I had to go for my extended trip. Kirsten would provide detailed reports and photos from each of her visit. She would not only feed, clean and take care of Ema daily, she also filled that special space to make her comfortable and not lonely. She brushed and played with her, enticed her with treats, and did such an amazing job all around, that I had no concerns being away for such a long time. Kirsten is very punctual, professional, and diligent sitter. She is amazing with animals! You will not have to worry whatsoever about leaving your furry baby under her care. Took great care of our pets, home and sanity!…read more Let me start by saying my wife and I are pretty protective of our dogs and we have only been away from them twice besides the times my Mom takes care of them. Enter Pet Sitters Unlimited. The whole experience was great, Kirsten first showed up for a consultation where she met the dogs, got a tour of the house and asked all of their needs etc. She takes the time to get to know the dogs well and make sure the dogs are well cared for and comfortable. Just before our vacation Kirsten contacted us and confirmed our reservation and went over the details. During our vacation we got a few pictures of the dogs via text and some confirmation that they were doing great. Kirsten spent a lot of time at the house and played with them and hung out. When we arrived home, we found the house was in perfect shape, dogs happy as can be, sheets from the guest bed in the washer and a daily update on how things went including a record of plants watered etc. Being comfortable with who your leave your dogs with is very important and we are very happy we chose Pet Sitters Unlimited. She takes Mr Dozer on a quick 15-minute walk - that's all he wants during the daytime heat of Florida. Trisha picks up his poop and leaves a nice report card each day. She just leaves a quick note as to how he did that day. Also, she helped us catch an unfortunate health issue. Trisha spends so much time with Mr Dozer that she knows when he isn't acting just right. We live in an apartment and our neighbors have all given good reports about how she follows our requests to carry our mini-dachshunds down the stairs and picks up after them per the rules of the community. She responds to our emails promptly and leaves notes daily. She is always thorough and we trust her with our babies and in our home. I often leave my ipad and jewelry out and it has always been right where I leave it. We will never move outside of her service area because we love her so much. We have even referred her to our friends! She is a life-saver and we're so thankful she is there to walk our pups while we are at work every day. I'd recommend her service to anyone! She answered my call right away and was able to visit Topper that very day and every day since that time. She was very understanding of the immediate need and handled the situation and call with true compassion and care. Kris is an animal lover through and through and she also volunteers at animal shelters in addition to her work pet sitting. She certainly knows a lot about cats and was able to give several recommendations and tips when asked. She is licensed, insured and pet first aid/cpr trained. The rates are fair and reasonable. I don't know what we would have done without her quick response, care and expertise.

I have a 6year old chihuahua, Yorkie mix and he has never been groomed. I was very nervous to just…read moreleave him with people I don't know. And he can be hard to handle, especially for nail trims. Trinity came out to Introduce herself and just began speaking to Jack and petting him. I put a muzzle on him because I just wasn't sure. Then off they went to The back room. I got a text that Jack was ready so I anxiously went in and there was my handsome boy, all trimmed, smelling great and with a cute bandana around his neck. Trinity explained that she took the muzzle off right away and he was so great with her! He was such a good boy!! A bit squirmy and loud about his nails but a perfectly good boy for the whole process.
