The front door is locked for a reason, no puppy gets in or out, unless the owner is in control of the situation. The owner keeps meticulous records on all of her clients, notes about how long, how short, how curly the last cut was, what looked good, what did the owner/parent like, what did not work well. These notes are all laid out meticulously on the desk for the day's clients, like little health records, ready for the patients of the day. This is a one-person operation, so all activities are performed by the owner, the wash/dry/cut/pedicure/tooth-brush/etc. Make a reservation at least a week in advance, but sometimes a hole in her schedule will open up and you will be honored to get a coveted spot. But what about the real client? My four legged ankle biters? What are their opinions? Well, unlike other groomers we had in the past, in which there was always a high level of anxiety on arrival and ever more anxiety to leave... NOT HERE.... my babies walk around the shop like if they were at home, NO ANXIETY what-so-ever. My babies love to meet the owner, and when it is time to go, they enjoy walking around and sniffing at this-and-that, and have no drama. That's the TRUE test of a good groomer. Happy furry little ones.

This…read moretime around I was blessed to experience Andreas's talent in a 4 hour photo shoot and interview for her Wise Journey Series Project. Andrea really is a visionary, an amazing listener, open hearted, creative, dedicated and patient and loving. I so loved the added element of conversation, it made the photo session feel almost therapeutic. I am not one to be a natural when a lens is pointing at me so I get goofy and awkward and self conscious. Andrea has an incredible gift of making you feel comfortable, she is playful and a little sneaky and you just love it. I cannot wait to see what Andrea puts together as a final product. Andrea has a gift of being able to work with everyone and anyone in a unique way. She intuitively adapts and has a magical way of connecting with people to make them feel comfortable in front of the camera. All the while she is authentically Andrea. She is guiding yet being guided the group so she is able to capture candids even in a more posed session. Andrea is worth every penny. We hired her for a multi generation family photo shoot.. My parents are still talking about not only the pictures but Andrea and what a wonderful experience she made it.

In rainy weather it drifts water all over you as you walk to the only front door on steps that are now wet people should know this as it's unsafe for potential customers. Under the new ownership from Canada, I find disrespect, I find Rudeness, I find selective customers taken care of by the new owner and another employee while I was personally ignored, & treated badly. This was not the first time and it is the last time!! The products are overpriced and I'm not paying that kind of money and have bad service. There's only one person who works there who is a decent nice employee and treats every customer fairly.. the rest are either clueless. Do not know the inventory or just a plain mean.!! Unfortunately this is my review for the month of February 2026 with their so-called 50!year Anniversary These people have not been here for 50 years. They only took over a year ago and I do not see the quality nor the caring that used to be!! By the way, this is not the same family owned Pet Store business anymore. This is new ownership by snotty people from Canada that don't care about their customers and I am one of the ones that has been mistreated by one of their employees who thinks it knows everything and is very rude, ignores customers like myself I am not the only one this employee treats badly. The individual goes by the name of Mz T for this review of mine.. I am not used to being Mistreated & it is unacceptable behavior! The following is a letter to the new owners from Canada:: Today!!! the last day of January 2026 Not One person said hello to me!! And there was only one customer & she had both one employee & the new self important owner helping & I was completely ignored! I wasn't even said hello to? So unfriendly so unkind I'm not impressed at all! The only person who was nice & greeted me was the dog Trainer Laurie who doesn't work for the Pet Store Fins Furs Feathers but greeted me with a smile which is more than I can say for anyone else in the store! She asked employee mz T who is only an expert at being mean, who has become incredibly even meaner with this new ownership from Canada because when the owner is ignoring customers, this employee feels it's OK to do so and more The name begins with a T, who was asked to come answer a question she didn't know the answer to & this employee refused! To answer , walking away around a corner oh so importantly I understand Miss T has treated other customers in similar fashion for no good reason . If anyone that worked for me mistreated my customers in this manner, they would not be working for me very long !! PLUS Unbelievably I think I overheard your new owner saying some thing nasty about me under his breath like "stupid idiot" ??? I will be making some positive changes which will not include this type of pomposity & Creepy, cruel behavior I didn't deserve. It was embarrassing & I'm not into it at all!!! Ever hear of Yelp!!!!? It's worldwide .... People should know what to expect!! BTW This isn't the way to be successful here In Boca Raton even though Boca has a reputation for a snotty attitude. Usually those businesses do not last very long! nor would they last anywhere! When people choose a store, they should be treated with kid gloves be called by their name and be served with respect, and this is true of any business. When you walk in you are greeted by a pond of live fish. I almost fell not knowing that I was walking on a "bridge" but ok. The staff was nice, showed me where the food was. Easy to check out. They had a few pets to adopt... birds a bunny. Super cute. It was a cute place. I would go back.
