Should have weighed it just to see how much the cup costs lolol. Lots of flavor and toppings options. Facility was clean and smelled like an ice cream shop should so I felt very comfortable selecting toppings. I chose cotton candy yogurt with gummy bears as a kicker. Total cost $5.35 definitely a place you could spend some money at if you are not careful. I plan on going back for another flavor combo next time I am in the area. The staff was youth and kind. Didn't feel rushed or pressured to buy.

This stuff is expensive but there's really no way for you to know how much you're going to be paying until your cup is weighed. This business model is so wild to me, yet it works. Nate and I stopped in to this location of the Pump House recently for a sweet treat. The bowls are huge, which makes you buy more! They also have cardboard dividers so you can separate your bowl and try up to three flavors, which is what I did. The options are extensive - I think they had at least 20 flavors of frozen yogurt. They also have hard scooped ice cream but I'm not sure if you can use the toppings bar on those choices. I tried the vanilla caramel swirl, mint, and mango raspberry sorbet. They have dairy free options which is nice. The toppings bar is bonkers - I've never seen so many options, ranging from sweet to salty to weird (hot cheetos anyone?). I typically go for the gummy candy but I wish I knew which toppings were the lightest! At 69 cents per ounce, we paid over $20 for our two cups. That's bananas to me, honestly, but I knew it would be pricey going in. The vanilla caramel was my least favorite of the frozen yogurt flavors - it was definitely very caramel-y flavored but I thought it was overpowering. The mint was really good and the sorbet was sour and refreshing. Definitely not a place I'll go regularly, but it's a fun place to check out occasionally.

I am a simple lady and love a good twist cone with sprinkles and their soft serve is just superb. I have been to most of the ice cream joints in/around town and I have often run into the issue of the soft serve being TOO soft and melting quickly. I don't know what they are doing, but their soft serve is always so creamy and firm. It's a hit every time and we will literally drive past other spots to go here when we want ice cream. There is quite a bit of seating if you choose to stay there, way more than others in the area. The staff are always polite and helpful. I've never had a miss here!

If you are not already familiar with Broaster chicken (a proprietary cooking technique using a specific machine that gets consistently amazing results), then it is high time you learn! Let the super friendly staff come assist you! While only open seasonally starting in the spring and ending in the late fall, this little building serves up a variety of delicious and affordable ice cream options in addition to their amazing chicken and potato wedges. See the menu I snapped a photo of for more details on pricing. I've tried a lot of chicken in town and love almost all of it - but the place that I keep coming back to year after year is Frosty Boy of Cascade. Come give it a try and see if it also becomes a regular tradition for you and your family.
