Came here with the family for ice cream. It's a cute spot with plenty of outdoor seating. The staff were friendly and let us sample different flavors. Big portions on the ice cream. They do have food but we did not get any this time. I'm told by my brother who lives in the area that it's good as welll.

Came here for ice cream and was pleasantly surprised to find food and mini golf available. The service was good and quick. We just had hot dogs and milkshakes which were both delicious. It was a nice chill area cute for family or day dates.

Stopped in for work lunch I ordered small soft chocolate, cheese fries and a chili cheese dog everything was delicious, my only complaint was the chili had 99.99% beans and .1% meat. Employees were friendly and helpful. They have plenty of outside seating , no indoor seating

Little ice cream spot next to a mini golf place. Relaxed friendly vibe. It's yummy with large scoops. Pets welcomed :) it's Dine outside only. They will bring food to you. Cookie Monster was yummy along with the No added sugar black cherry! I saw others with the Brownie Sunday. It's HUGE. The sorbet was good but too sweet for me.

The ice cream was great and the burgers are so tasty! The people that work there are very friendly and the service is fast. They have very beautiful trees and lovely lights with plenty of outdoor seating!

Really cool outdoor seating. Good selection of ice cream sundaes. Nice local place to grab a bite to eat and ice cream. Next to miniature golf place and open till 9 in October is hard to find around here.

First timer. I don't travel out this way often, but I was given a coupon. I'm always leery when ice cream shops market themselves as eateries too. The food is typically below par and I leave saying, "they should stick with ice cream." I was pleasantly surprised. The young lady behind the counter was friendly and patient as my 9 year old debated over flavors. The chicken sandwich was of better quality than some other "higher end" establishments I've visited. The kids portion was the appropriate amount and priced right. It was nice to be able to enjoy our ice cream cones under the gazebo out of the sun. There wasn't one standout thing that made me give this place a four, it was just a nice overall experience.

My family and I met my sister and niece at this restaurant on a hot Friday evening for ice cream. It is tucked away from the main road but is not hard to find and when we were there, it was "Christmas in July" so the decorations led the way! There was plenty of outdoor seating and we were able to get a table right away. In addition, they had an outdoor window that you could walk up to to place your order. This place serves all kinds of American grille food but they also have a nice Turkey Hill ice cream selection. To top it off, they had a sundae section that caught my eye from the second I saw the menu. Normally I like ice cream as is, but the combinations were stellar and all very appealing. Knowing a sundae would be quite large, my dad and I decided to share. We went with the Peanut Butter Extreme - Peanut Butter Sundae ice cream topped with peanut butter sauce, whipped cream, Reese's Pieces and a cherry. I was able to substitute Peanut Butter Cups for the Reese's Pieces for no charge. We had a regular size which was two HUGE scoops with all of the goodies piled on top. It was beyond delightful and barely (sort of!) finishable between the two of us. You get your moneys worth for sure. My husband had an all chocolate sundae that he really enjoyed and I believe all of my other family members agreed that this was a place we have to come back to. The employees were friendly, the price was more than reasonable, the ice cream was quick to be served to us, and there was plenty of space to hang out outside. This grille and ice cream shop is worth checking out if you are in the area!

The ice cream isn't bad. HOWEVER, I witnessed an employee using a can of fudge COVERED IN RUST. That's nasty.

Great ice cream and mostly friend foods which is expected. Wish they had table service or inside seating especially when it's hot.

Really good spot for cheesesteaks…read more. Everyone is friendly and very helpful as far if you have any questions about how to order or what you want. I got the Lil Philly. Which is the smaller version to their big cheesesteak and comes with fries and a drink. Not bad at all in my opinion. But don't get fooled, it's a decent size and filled me up! I ordered mine with sharp provolone, onions and wiz. But you can add a lot more toppings for an up charge. The bread was soft and fresh, what I love most was that sharp provolone. It was delicious and the wiz just took it to another level. It was absolutely delicious. Their fries are nicely seasoned with salt , which is also good. You could tell they have a lot of regulars , as I sat there I saw many groups come in and out for their steak sandwiches. Definitely a good spot. It has a decent amount of tables to sit at.

Philly sports photos and memorabilia all over the walls. All the staff I interacted with were extremely nice and helpful. I decided to get the Little Philly Special which comes with a 6 inch cheesesteak, fries and a drink. I went with the cheese fries because that's just what you do. From the hoagie roll bags I saw it looks like they get the rolls shipped in from Philadelphia which is the only way to go. My only complaint besides the awful decor j/k is the whiz was runner then most cheesesteak places so dipping the fries made an unbelievable mess. Everything tasted phenomenal though. From what I saw while eating my lunch is that their hoagies are just as popular here.

Super fresh rolls with the right texture that have some give, some squish, but still held up well to being stuffed with the steak, cheese, and add-ins/sauce. Also good quality ribeye steak that's well chopped. I prefer mine with provolone and sweet peppers, along with marinara on top. But honestly, these cheesesteaks are good enough with just steak and cheese. The fries here are shoestring, which is perfect if you don't want soggy fries when you let them sit. Penn Steaks uses beef tallow which gives it a bit more savory taste. I'm not really into beef tallow for frying, yet I still enjoyed then. I'd still prefer Five Guys fries over these. But don't let that stop you from trying them! And the service was fantastic. The person taking my order was polite and helpful. I even met one of the co-owners who was very friendly! A great guy to chit-chat if you like that sort of thing. I learned quite a bit from him during my visit. They sell their cheesesteaks in 6", 9", and 18". The 9" is generous and should satisfy most people. I might be able to finish an 18" if was really hungry and didn't add too much to it, but I'd be in pain afterwards! The 18" is better for sharing. I'll stop by more often for a good cheesesteak. Next time I'll get extra cheese on it. I know I'll probably be addicted to their cheesesteaks sooner or later. Edit: added photo of their cheesesteak

Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the reputation. We ordered Philly cheesesteaks, and while I was ready to taste something iconic, what I got was a black pepper overload. The seasoning completely overpowered the meat, which was disappointing. Even worse, the bread-to-meat ratio was way off. My roll was soggy, and no amount of mayonnaise or ketchup could save it. We also ordered onion rings and chicken tenders for our toddler. The onion rings were fried to the point of being rock hard. Not crispy, just tough. The chicken tenders were dry and flavorless. Our toddler ate some and said they were "good," but even she didn't want the leftovers the next day and neither did we. Hubby said to be fair, the staff was sweet and very accommodating, which we appreciated. However great service can't cover up subpar food. Sadly, High Steaks missed the mark for us, and in a city known for doing cheesesteaks right, that's a big letdown.
