He was friendly, informative, and gracious. He described how his business' coffee beans were sourced locally from Rigby Roasters (of Memphis). Their small-batch ice cream came from Little Rock's Loblolly Creamery. The quiches were handmade by a local chef. Well, of course, I sampled all of the above! I was quite impressed with the flavorful sausage quiche. The "cold" coffee that I was eventually served was well-balanced and delicious. The Loblolly ice cream selections were difficult to choose from, but I was extremely pleased with my dish of eggnog flavor. Also, I took home a hand-packed pint of the bourbon pecan, which was completely scrumptious. I'm really pleased that this locally-owned shop has renovated a downtown two storey building and opened there. They even have offices for rent upstairs, as well as an Air B&B rental apartment. Plus, they are very happy for your business right up to their closing time. In fact, I noticed that at least five customers were served several minutes after 6:00 p.m. Angled/head-in street parking spaces are available in front of shop. (When leaving, be careful backing up, since many fellow drivers are impatient and incautious.) I really liked the relaxed/chill atmosphere here. If I lived in the neighborhood, this would definitely become my favorite coffee stop, and quite likely largely supplant my Starbucks' caffeine habit. I plan on returning here again and again.

Very small town coffee shop vibes with many tables inside and outside and tons of families and friends gathering together. I loved the area it was in, so it made perfect sense as to why this coffee shop was there. I went on a Saturday morning, and it was packed full of people. Only two people working, so it did take a minute to place my order and get my drink. But, there were places to sit and things to look at while I waited. They didn't take your name to write on the cup, so it was a bit confusing as they were calling out order, especially when someone else had your same drink. I always like to try a special when I am trying out a new place, so I decided to get the Honey tiramisu coffee. It was absolutely delicious! I drank it so fast. I loved it so much that I wanted to go back on Sunday. Without checking the hours, we drove there and they were closed. Oh well, but I will definitely be going back next time I'm in town!

The truck that is almost always there is Bays Wings. Mojo Cafe used to post up every day as well, but I haven't seen them in a minute. You can find some random trucks, lots of Latino type stuff. Hot dogs sometimes. It's a gamble. It's 100% out side on a busy street where people drive like complete fools. So it isn't the best place to enjoy a meal and your surroundings to say the least. The cortado, which is supposed to be ~2oz espresso matched with an equal part milk, was actually an 8oz cappuccino of good quality. Even had bagel w/ lox that was built with great care and attention. Definitely need to start making the trek in from the outer loop, though parking is now an added charge in the gravelly lots around the hood.

My wife suggested JoJo's Espresso to me - - I knew she had enjoyed her coffee dates with a friend, but I told her I need a place to eat, not just drink coffee. She assured me that the menu was more than enough also knowing that my friend and I like to have healthy options. I was not prepared completely for how unbelievable of an experience we had. The service was spot on. The layout is immaculate. And, even with a full restaurant by the time we were leaving, I could hear him (I oftentimes have trouble in public spots). I'll take pics of food next time! And their food menu is one that I could literally order anything and be happy with. This first trip I had a breakfast bowl.

Delightful little coffeeshop in Germantown! :)…read more I came here to refuel after attending a funeral and before transitioning to a family dinner. It's in a cute shopping center. A lot of the businesses seem quite busy, so parking is a little bit of a hassle, but not too bad. I rolled into a very nicely decorated, welcoming space. It's roomier than I expected with plenty of tables to work, eat, or gather. They offer coffee drinks, pastries, and even full breakfast and lunch - think sandwiches, fruit bowls, salads, waffles, etc. I made my way to the register. The young lady who took my order was effusively nice and very friendly and I enjoyed chatting with her a little bit - apparently, neither one of us are from the Memphis area, haha. I ordered a latte of some sort (can't remember the exact name but it was their take on a biscoff cookie latte) and a muffin to go. I was able to make myself a quick complementary cup of cool water at the self-serve station as well as napkins, straws, etc. my order came out quickly. Overall, I was quite pleased. The muffin was loaded with chocolate chips and also had very pleasant notes of cinnamon and other warming spices. The latte had the perfect amount of ice in it and a discernible, fairly strong biscoff taste, which I enjoyed. My one main wish was that it been mixed a bit more before served; most of the syrup was at the bottom and came through in either gigantic overwhelming mouthfuls or not at all. However, that was a fairly easy remedy to render myself with a few good stirs of my straw. I'd say this visit is a 4.5. This coffee shop is close to my aunt's house and I will definitely return next time we visit the Memphis area. If quality remains consistent, it'll be an easy round up to a 5 next time.
