The Hub Cafe is a great farm-to-table café with a welcoming atmosphere and quality ingredients…read morethat really stand out. The coffee was very good, and the cappuccino was smooth and well made. I ordered the Savory Breakfast Bowl with local sunny egg, quinoa tabouli, black beans, braised kale, house-made sunflower tahini, citrus ginger carrots, pickled red cabbage, and spicy sambal. The bowl was fresh, flavorful, and filling, with a nice balance of textures and ingredients. We went for lunch to catch up with friends, and it was the perfect place for that. The atmosphere feels relaxed and comfortable for conversation, and the menu has enough variety that everyone can find something they enjoy. Portions were also generous without feeling overly heavy. Service was great. They do offer drinks and cocktails as well, although I did not try them during this visit. Overall, it's a great local spot for brunch or lunch, especially if you enjoy fresh ingredients and a farm-to-table style menu.

Posting an update…read more I had the pork adobe chilaquiles. And it was delicious. The pork was tender and delicious. And hubby got an egg sandwich. He didn't enjoy it as much. The sandwich bread was a little dense and he didn't enjoy it as much as the meal he ordered the first time. They bring the food after you order it. But you have to return the dishes by yourself. For that, service is probably not perfect. Chill vibes by the park. I do love that

Rose Cat Coffee in Lincoln is a sweet little coffee shop with a wonderful mission and...books!…read moreI didn't get a chance to look at the books but will certainly do so on a future visit. The reading area has inviting chairs just waiting to be used. The inclusive mission of providing a supportive work experience for those with special needs is obviously at play here with a little bit of confusion at the ordering counter that ensued on our visit. Everything worked out and my friend and I enjoyed coffee and an early lunch. We both ordered drip coffee and were offered cold brew as well. We both had cream poured into our coffees until we said stop. I think the decaf and regular coffee may have been switched around, but the workers tried so hard to get it right. I had a sausage and egg breakfast burrito in a crispy flour tortilla, while my friend had an Italian sandwich. Hers came piping hot, too hot to eat for a few minutes. She enjoyed the Black Forest ham, pepperoni, salami, mozzarella, and pesto on a toasty ciabatta roll, served with crispy potato chips. Although we just had brewed coffee, there are a lot of fancy drinks, coffee-based and other non-coffee libations. Pair those with one of the many pastry and sweet choices. You'll be back for more!

The muffin was really good, nice and thick while still being fluffy and soft. I had a dirty chai and it was very hot, so I'll have to remember that for next time! I ordered a mocha half calf. It was drinkable if you just want caffeine. The café had a lot of seating and some shopping. Something unusual to me was a selection of different kinds of chocolate covered items that you could buy in measurement. Not prepackaged. The location we visited was in Haymarket District downtown. It's been there 45 years. They're baked goods are made downstairs I was told. I tried the coffee cake, which was excellent, but I did not care for the chocolate croissant. It was very tough and very little chocolate. I did like the outside terrace seating which faced the main street of the Haymarket district. It was shaded and very nice breeze went through there on a hot day. I love the experience of the shop and the terrace, but if I'm looking for good the flavor of coffee, I would probably go somewhere else.

We have been in Lincoln for four days and yet to find a place that served espresso drinks the way I…read morewanted them. And that had a good flavor of coffee. I tried The Mill, it was tolerable. I tried Meadowlark coffee too. It was tolerable, but not good. Being from Kansas City, I did not realize how fortunate I am to have several spots with their own blend of beans, and freshly air roasted beans while you wait. But I'm so glad we stayed an extra day because we came across Cultiva Coffee. It was about 10 minutes from our hotel and it was so worth it. They also had a seasonal crêpe that had strawberries and chocolate ganache. It was so good. No, it was excellent. My husband and I almost fought over the last bite. But we were certainly measuring up the size of the bites. Lol the atmosphere was so cute and original. I absolutely loved it. I took a minute to tell them how much I appreciated them before I left, but I'm also telling you now. In addition to the Coffee, I appreciated the Service. When I ordered, the young lady never made me feel like I needed to hurry with what I was gonna say or that I wanted too many details. I appreciate this as an older person. I get tired of the impatience of young people these days and she was very kind. And the person who made the drink, made it perfectly to my liking. Not too hot to where I had to wait to drink it, but not just warm like it had been cooling off. I admit, I am very critical when it comes to my cappuccino. That's why I make it at home most the time so I can have it the way I want it. So a place that checked all the boxes is rare to me. If you try this place, I hope you have the same experience.

Cultiva coffee is my new favorite coffee and breakfast place in Lincoln! Omg. The coffee quality is…read moreso good. I immediately knew after taking my first sip. I told the barista how I like my coffee, which is strong, iced and sweet. I also told her I was debating between the dirty Barcelona and iced Cuban. She recommended the dirty Barcelona and it did not disappoint. However I will say it was a little too sweet for me. I'll have to try the iced Cuban next time. Nonetheless, the coffee was absolutely delicious. I finished it quickly. In addition to the amazing coffee here, I trulyenjoyed their food!! They specialize in crepes, savory and sweet, omelettes, and pancakes! Don't sleep on their food y'all. I ended up ordering a build -your-own meal which consisted of a bagel, eggs, cream cheese, and three sides; salsa, chipotle mayo and sausage. Let's just say I ate and left no crumbs. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Frfr. My toddler got the apple pie pastry, also a 10 out of 10!! There are board games and coloring pages for kiddos. Plus merchandise and coffee beans available for purchase. There's lots of seating inside and street parking outside. I'm definitely coming back here with more people and plan to spread the word about this amazing spot. 1000 out of 10 recommend. :)
