We have been in Lincoln for four days and yet to find a place that served espresso drinks the way I…read morewanted them. And that had a good flavor of coffee. I tried The Mill, it was tolerable. I tried Meadowlark coffee too. It was tolerable, but not good. Being from Kansas City, I did not realize how fortunate I am to have several spots with their own blend of beans, and freshly air roasted beans while you wait. But I'm so glad we stayed an extra day because we came across Cultiva Coffee. It was about 10 minutes from our hotel and it was so worth it. They also had a seasonal crêpe that had strawberries and chocolate ganache. It was so good. No, it was excellent. My husband and I almost fought over the last bite. But we were certainly measuring up the size of the bites. Lol the atmosphere was so cute and original. I absolutely loved it. I took a minute to tell them how much I appreciated them before I left, but I'm also telling you now. In addition to the Coffee, I appreciated the Service. When I ordered, the young lady never made me feel like I needed to hurry with what I was gonna say or that I wanted too many details. I appreciate this as an older person. I get tired of the impatience of young people these days and she was very kind. And the person who made the drink, made it perfectly to my liking. Not too hot to where I had to wait to drink it, but not just warm like it had been cooling off. I admit, I am very critical when it comes to my cappuccino. That's why I make it at home most the time so I can have it the way I want it. So a place that checked all the boxes is rare to me. If you try this place, I hope you have the same experience.

Cultiva coffee is my new favorite coffee and breakfast place in Lincoln! Omg. The coffee quality is…read moreso good. I immediately knew after taking my first sip. I told the barista how I like my coffee, which is strong, iced and sweet. I also told her I was debating between the dirty Barcelona and iced Cuban. She recommended the dirty Barcelona and it did not disappoint. However I will say it was a little too sweet for me. I'll have to try the iced Cuban next time. Nonetheless, the coffee was absolutely delicious. I finished it quickly. In addition to the amazing coffee here, I trulyenjoyed their food!! They specialize in crepes, savory and sweet, omelettes, and pancakes! Don't sleep on their food y'all. I ended up ordering a build -your-own meal which consisted of a bagel, eggs, cream cheese, and three sides; salsa, chipotle mayo and sausage. Let's just say I ate and left no crumbs. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Frfr. My toddler got the apple pie pastry, also a 10 out of 10!! There are board games and coloring pages for kiddos. Plus merchandise and coffee beans available for purchase. There's lots of seating inside and street parking outside. I'm definitely coming back here with more people and plan to spread the word about this amazing spot. 1000 out of 10 recommend. :)

The muffin was really good, nice and thick while still being fluffy and soft. I had a dirty chai and it was very hot, so I'll have to remember that for next time! This place is very popular in Lincoln, Nebraska because of their long history and the shops are…read moreconveniently located everywhere. The cappuccino in my opinion, wasn't wonderful. I ordered a mocha half calf. It was drinkable if you just want caffeine. The café had a lot of seating and some shopping. Something unusual to me was a selection of different kinds of chocolate covered items that you could buy in measurement. Not prepackaged. The location we visited was in Haymarket District downtown. It's been there 45 years. They're baked goods are made downstairs I was told. I tried the coffee cake, which was excellent, but I did not care for the chocolate croissant. It was very tough and very little chocolate. I did like the outside terrace seating which faced the main street of the Haymarket district. It was shaded and very nice breeze went through there on a hot day. I love the experience of the shop and the terrace, but if I'm looking for good the flavor of coffee, I would probably go somewhere else.

Great coffee shop! Enjoyed visiting Lincoln and stopping here for coffee and a blueberry scone -…read moreawesome scone - good size and lots of blueberries and fresh/tender!!! Looks like they probably have music nights - there is a stage. The stage does have a table and chairs so feel welcome to have a seat. There is a lot of seating - comfortable. The guy and gal waiting on me were quick and friendly answering my questions and visiting just a tad. Didn't want to keep them from their work.

The cold brew is my favorite but the lattes are good too (they can be a little sweet, so I get mine with half the syrup). I hear good things about the food but I've only had pastries - which did not disappoint. Killer music on a regular basis. Friendly staff and patrons, from my experience. It's more a social gathering place than a good "get work/study done" place. They also feature local artists and musicians, which is cool and keeps the decor new. One small note - usually when coffee places have a punch-card loyalty program, you get a free drink when it's full. Meadowlark, you only get a punch for espresso drinks, not coffee, and when it's full, you only get $3 off instead of an actual free drink (even a small). That seems a little penny-pinching to me...
