My favorite spot, they don't overload their iced drinks with ice and they are nice people as well. My drinks always taste consistently good!

First of all: DINE-IN during Covid. Thank you very much Lighthouse Café & Stuff! I love this…read morecute, little coffee shop! It's located in Lake Carolina, near Blytheswood, SC. We're currently staying in a wonderful lake house on Lake Wateree and my brother-in-law said there are no bougee (pronounced: Booh-Zhee) coffee shops for me at the lake. So, thanks to YELP, I found one. If it checks off at least three of these boxes, the coffee shop is perfectly "bougee" for me: *Iced White Chocolate Mocha *WiFi *Variety of pastries, including fancy fruit scones (at least blueberry with another berry, etc.), croissants (no repackaged items from costco please); *Sandwiches involving croissant or panini-style *Jazzy or calming music *Cool retro or vintage furniture - comfy couch a MUST...just overall, charming. And this place checks off beyond three for sure! I wish I took more photos, but I was too consumed with how much I was loving my experience here. It is a Christian-owned coffee shop too - first realizing that they were playing awesome Worship Music, and then seeing the decor hints of Love, Peace, Kindness, etc. And of course, the name of the shop: Lighthouse. Plus, the girl who served us confirmed it. The iced white chocolate mocha was terrific - normally I ask it with Oat Milk, but forgot. It was fab. The Panini though...OMg!! Delish. The bread was crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside, and the prosciutto ham combined with the Brie cheese was divine! You can order the panini in a few variety of ways btw. There was the big comfy couch, but it was barricaded due to Covid - but no biggie. The girls there are the sweetest! The shop in itself is located in such a cute village with other neighboring businesses/restaurants, and apartment building. I could totally live there and found myself daydreaming about walking over to get my bougee coffee experience. GO THERE NOW.

New to SC, tried two of their specials today, both were very subpar. Coffee tasted watered down,…read morethe only flavor came from the syrups. It's definitely cute on the inside, but coffee didn't live up to the vibe. Won't be returning.

We had a large group of 12 from the ROMEO club here for lunch today. Our waitress was quick to…read moretake our orders and they set up a table along the long bench for all of us. Almost everyone ordered some sort of the burger special for $9.99 which includes the bottomless fries and a soft drink. Reviews were mixed...some didn't care for their hamburger, saying it was overly done and hard. I ordered the Haystack which didn't have the Red Robin sauce but had the fried onions on it. The burger was tasty and done right but there was a sort of smoked taste...possibly from the onions. Fries are good. I had ordered a regular coke and I think she brought out a diet coke. She said she would take it back and get a regular coke but I told her just to bring a half and half tea. She came back with a regular coke. My order was the last one and when she came to the table she said it wasn't correct...so went back and re-ordered another burger. While I was waiting she brought me out my fries. Finally the burger did come out after half the group was almost finished. Then it came time to pay. Everytime we go here we have to deal with the Kiosks on the table. We usually have anywhere from 5-11 guys at lunch ant it's always a hassle trying to figure out what kiosk has what order. It's really not that hard as the receipt has the table # and order # on it....but today all of our orders were mostly put on one kiosk. I was the first to use the machine and logged in with my rewards number. Found my receipt, added my tip, scanned my card and then the machine said it was analyzing my credit card, then popped up and said your check wasn't ready yet...wait a few minutes. I tried this four times. Finally passed it to someone else and they tried it several times. It finally worked for him. I got it back, tried it three more times and got the same message. Finally i just gave my credit card to the waitress and paid with my bill. Last time I'll use it. Our overall rating was a 3.0.

I have not eaten at a RR in eight or nine years, but I was I NE Columbia, SC today around lunch time so I decided to stop in with a friend at the Village at Sandhills. It was not very busy for lunch on a Friday. I went with a bacon cheeseburger and fries. The best thing about the burger was the bun and toppings. All were very fresh and tasted good, especially the cheddar cheese. The burger itself was pretty tasteless. It was pretty round and looked like it had come on the back of a truck prepackaged. The fries tasted good but were not exactly piping hot. I am not surprised to see other reviews here are mediocre at best.
