Hands down one of the best smoothies and turkey melts I've ever had! Who knew espresso in a smoothie would be such a perfect touch. Cute interior- elegant, modern, and cozy. There's even a kids corner with books and a play kitchen.

Have been begginggg for a non-Starbucks coffee shop near me. This place fits the bill!! So good. Baristas are so sweet. The vibe is very chill and there's a lot of space to sit.

Decor was cute. Staff were friendly and courteous. The menu is not large but offered good options. They also served some breakfast food items and baked goods. I ordered an iced brewed coffee with oatmeal and SF vanilla and hazelnut. It was good. My only concern is the price point. $6.80.... That's a lot in my opinion. Overall I did like it and hope they continue to do well! If you're in the areas stop by and try them out

On the fence! I ordered a vanilla latte and a piece of banana bread - about $11. Both were good but no strong flavors like vanilla in the coffee and banana in the bread. It wasn't bad - just not memorable. The store itself has a very beautiful and inviting, neutral, calm atmosphere. They have a small but effective drink and food/snack menu. Small 2 seat tables inside and out, little area for kids, and fun music playing at a very "conversation friendly level". Not gonna lie - the decor (like the tables and brass planters) are nice enough to go in a home, so kudos to the decorator!

Lovely setting and well made drinks. Seating is limited but I think that helps keep noise levels down, plus they have some outdoor seating as well. Definitely recommend!

Lattes and breakfast sandwich were great! I hope they will sell their beans!

If anything felt like it was a breath of fresh air in Blythewood it's Beacon Coffee and Cafe! I had my first visit today and it definitely won't be my last. There are wonderful all natural gifts such as soy candles, handmade hand towels, children's books etc, delicious coffee that tastes fresh and clean with plenty of options for cold and hot along with teas and one smoothie options. My hubby and I had each a hot and cold latte and breakfast sandwich which also just tasted "fresh" and not anything like what a Starbucks might have. Along the walls are beautifully painted pieces of artwork and there is plenty of seating and outlets for working along with free WiFi. Peaceful music. Service was friendly and fast! See y'all again soon.

PSA/spoiler: long-winded but wholesome ending My boyfriend…read moreand I have eaten here a handful of times previously, and we went in for brunch again yesterday. (side note: for context, we both have years of experience working in the food service industry & are very patient/understanding, sometimes at our own detriment, bc we know how unpredictable working in restaurants can be.) The restaurant was moderately busy, but there were a few open tables. Two ladies were already waiting to be seated at the hostess stand, and although the hostess was physically present, she didn't greet us when we walked in, nor was she talking to the 2 women waiting in front of us. I'm not sure if she was in her own world or having an off day but she didn't acknowledge us at all and avoided speaking to/making eye contact with all of us at the front door for 5-10 minutes. I wasn't sure if she'd already spoken to the ladies beforehand, and maybe that's why she didn't feel the need to say anything to my bf and i but it was insanely awkward, to say the least. However, after she wiped a table down and we were seated, not a big deal by any means. Our waitress got our drinks, took our order, and brought our food out very quickly. Both my bf and I ordered the crab benedict biscuit - his came out perfectly and was delicious! The only issue with mine was that the egg yolk looked like it'd come from a boiled egg and had the consistency of a piece of sidewalk chalk. As someone who usually orders eggs sunny side up or over-easy, my bf and I both knew I was either going to waste the entire meal or have to ask for a new egg (and I hate asking for things bc I feel like it's an inconvenience). We eventually settled on asking for a new egg bc I hadn't eaten anything all day and was pretty hungry. I started looking around the restaurant to see if I could see our waitress. I saw her but she didn't see me and I didn't want to bug her. It was actually the owner/GM Danielle who saw me scanning the restaurant and came over almost immediately asking if I needed something. I explained the minor problem and apologized for being a pain and when I say she couldn't have been more kind, helpful, and absolutely hilarious, I mean it from the bottom of my heart! Danielle ended up getting me a crab benedict biscuit to-go (we had plans & were on a time crunch), talked to the kitchen to see what happened since both mine and my bf's were made together, chatted with us for a bit, and comped our bill. I continued to apologize, thank her for her help, and told her it really wasn't necessary to comp anything bc it wasn't a big deal at all and she'd resolved the issue but she insisted. Needless to say, we will 1000% be going back thanks to Danielle! Loved getting to talk with and meet a genuinely kind-hearted person/new(er) small business owner in Chapin. You rock Danielle For anyone who made it to the end of this dissertation and has the pleasure of meeting/seeing Danielle at Bakon, do yourself a favor and ask her to do an impression of a piece of floppy bacon. You won't regret it

The grits melt in your mouth! I love a good soft and moist bowl of grits. The omelette was prepared just right and filled with shrimp, catfish, red peppers, tomatoes and so many other yummy ingredients. This was definitely a great start to my day. The customer was top-notch, the establishment was clean and well lit. I will be visiting this location again soon:)

We went on a Saturday and we added our names to the waitlist and it stated 25-40 minutes, but when we arrived, we were seated immediately. This was about 11 am on a Saturday. My cousin ordered pancakes and I ordered the lobster and Brie omelette. The lobster was sweet and the cooked to perfection. The omelette was divine. The grits were nice and the right kind of thick. The English muffin came on the side. It could've been toasted, but it was just the muffin. Good but toasted I believe it would've been better. Then I had the blueberry margarita. And my word...do they know how to make a drink. It was strong but in a great way! It wasn't overpowering. It was just perfect and a great addition to my food. The atmosphere is bustling. The staff were sipping all around. Please come see them! They offer military discount.

Pretty quick service for how busy it was, and the meals came out quickly as the waitress said the kitchen was fully staffed today and they were on point....perfect! I got the special they had, Steak and Eggs with chimmichurri , the flavor was AMAZING. The steak was so tender only need a fork, and it was a great breakaway from just regular steak and eggs, as you can see in the picture. Another plus was the fact they left a whole carafe of coffee so you don't have to wait for a refill. Already planning our next trip back!

I kicked things off with the Honey Caramel Crunch Iced Coffee and it was creamy, perfectly sweet, and the ideal start to brunch. For my meal, I ordered the Market Hash with over-medium eggs on top of fresh, seasoned potatoes, cremini mushrooms, zucchini, shallots, red peppers, baby spinach, melted mozzarella, and herbed goat cheese. Every bite was savory, comforting, and absolutely delicious. My husband went with the Roast Beef & Havarti Sandwich, and that combo does not disappoint. The lemony dressing on the arugula paired so well with the horseradish sauce, and I couldn't get enough of that Parmesan-crusted bread. And don't leave without ordering the Million Dollar Bacon--the perfect sweet, salty, and spicy bite that truly lives up to the hype. If you're in the Harbison area, this is a fantastic spot for brunch, especially if you're celebrating something special
