My younger sister isn't a physician I didn't know the devastating impact her decision would have on my health at that time period. I decided to take this Estrogen Medication called Prempro for (one year and a half) then I stopped taking this Medication because this Prempro caused me to contract a severe DVT means a (Deep Venous Thrombosis) in my Left Leg. I contacted Dr. Richard Saxon who is a Certified Radiologist who specializes in the Stenting process of inserting Stents in both my Right and Left Groin Area inside my body. Dr. Richard Saxon performed this Stenting Surgical procedure for the First Time on my Left Leg. My Stenting Procedure was very successful. I was his First Recipient. Also the Tri-City Radiologist Group has an amazing collection of physicians who I had a few procedures done with Dr. Donald Ponec who had inserted a IVC Filter in my Left Iliac Vein to keep my vein open on a permanent basis to prevent any New Blood Clots from traveling up to my Heart . Also Dr. Justin Gooding performed a similar procedure on the same left leg and this procedure was very successful with excellent results. I wanted to say a big THANK YOU to these Doctors at Tri- City Medical Center.

During my visit, I experienced excessive wait times, poor communication, lack of follow-up, staff behavior. What was most concerning was lack of communication. I understand that hospitals can be busy and that healthcare professionals work under significant pressure. However, patients and families deserve clear communication, respect, and timely care. In my case, I had to wait 3 days for an MRI after that their wasn't a care plan to follow up. I had to advocate for myself for proper treatment. I am sharing this feedback not simply to complain, but in the hope that management will review these concerns and take steps to improve the patient experience. I would appreciate having someone from leadership contact me to discuss this matter further. Thank you for your attention.

One thing I do not like is it took me 12 days to get my Neck X-Rays back, me while I waited in pain. I don't know what it is about Kaiser but good luck trying to get any pain meds, anti inflammatories OR anxiety meds out of this company. I have suffered with long term social anxiety for the last 12 years now. I asked my doc for some Xanax which I only take for emergencies and he gave me 3 pills of Aadvin instead and never would refill my script. To me, this is absolutely ridiculous, I am not some junkie, I'm a 50 year old man who suffers with this crap. I quit that doctor as I didn't like his bed side manner anyway and choose another doc. "Never got the anxiety meds I needed, but thank GOD for street pharmacists. Fast forward to a new doc. I went in for a severe neck pain, once again, 0 help from the docs for any pain medication. They have me taking OTC stuff that's not really helping. "Again, thank God for my street pharmacists". The thing that sucks is, I pay 1000's of dollars for insurance and still can't get the meds I need. I miss my old private doc practice, where I could tell my doc what works for me and he would prescribe it it he agreed, not this Red tape corporate BS where you pay premiums and get the crap you need. I can't wait for my company to switch insurances again.

My husband told me I got a letter in the mail stating that I was writing messages in my portal to my Drs. I thought the portal was used as a extra tool for Scripps when you do not go to appointments for your health and concerns. They threatened me that they would kick me out of Jefferson if i wrote anymore messages. Don't I have any patient's right for my healthcare to use the portal for questions and concerns when appointments are over two to three months in the future? I felt threatened and abandoned especially that I was recently discharged from the ER and needed some answers from lab work which I feel was not given by the ER Dr. On top of that I got a letter in my portal about missing and no show appts which I go all the time because I have other people drive me there so why is there such a mess when I feel I am threatened? Does anyone else have this experience with Scripps at this time with communication on portal, mail and no one replying to their messages on portal? Has anyne else been threatened to be kicked out even if they go to all drs appts on time and ask qs about their health???? Isn't that what Drs and nps are there for to help you and take care of your concerns in a professional manner???!

My baby had a slightly elevated but normal jaundice level, which they insisted on testing further. The blood test showed a minor increase, but instead of contacting me, they got my phone number wrong and didn't call the emergency contact. Instead, they called the police and a social worker, who showed up at my home that night. I rushed my baby to the hospital, terrified and confused, only to be told his jaundice level was within normal range and that newborns shouldn't be in the ER unless it's truly critical. This entire ordeal was unnecessary, traumatizing, and avoidable. While Dr. Park who we have seen is wonderful, and I would like to omit as part of this negative experience and review. So where do I begin? First the front desk staff are incredibly rude, I believe Ive only had perhaps one experience where the staff was polite and helpful. Aside from that, there are currently only two providers in the facility, which means if you have an urgent condition you have two choices; go to the emergency room or wait anywhere from two to three weeks for an appointment. Plain and simple, this location is unacceptable and the care is second rate.

I was able to even call & have em check when refill medications were ready for pickup. They even had em ready before the day I was going to get em which was in 3 days. They mention too that they'll keep the medications on the shelf for 10days to get picked up before taking it off shelf. So the tricky part here is when you do have to pick up the refills. Man, was the waiting area crazy small & packed. Of course, I had to get a ticket & wait. & wait. & wait. I seriously waited 50min just o pick up refills that were ready to pick up!!! I even quietly listened to our people complaining bout the wait even with refills ready to pick up or getting new medications. All the same. You got to WAIT! Ugh, it was like being on-base pharmacy in Camp Pendleton. So all I had to do was show copies of my parents military I.D. & done I got the refills. Wow. I'm see bout having the medications just delivered to my home next time.
