The vet cleared their schedule for the afternoon to make sure the surgery was done and they kept him on watch for 2 days. My dog received great care and he loved all the docs and techs that saw him, which if you knew how stubborn my dog is, you'd know how big of a deal that was. We are full time nomads so he's been to his share of vets across the country, but I honestly believe this has been his favorite vet. Unfortunately, the mass on my dog's spleen turned out to be an aggressive form of cancer, so his best prognosis is 3 months. I don't blame the vet at all- if they wouldn't have done the surgery my dog would already be gone, so I'm very grateful to Aspen Vet. I called an hour after she was missing . They told me to wait 2 hours until open before I could retrieve her. When I picked her up : 1. her coat was covered in some kind of waxy film 2. They gave her various vaccines without my permission 3. She developed a rash and scabs all over her body from the short stay there. This all happened in the 2 hours she was there. My daughters healthy cat was also captured and brought there. It got parasites there and died after coming home. Another friends dog was mistreated there and got sick and traumatized after being captured and taken there.
