This mistake cost us hundreds of dollars and created completely avoidable stress during an already high-stakes process. What made this situation even worse was her behavior before and after the error. She repeatedly talked over me, dismissed my concerns, and failed to listen when I tried to clarify details--details that would have prevented this mistake in the first place. When I finally called her out on the error, she took zero responsibility. Instead of owning the mistake or offering a solution, she became defensive and unprofessional, telling me "this is my agency, I own this, and you can't escalate to management." That response alone speaks volumes about her accountability and customer service standards. (Why you calling me for?) Oh ok. Sorry to bother you. My disappointment started after a massive rate increase across the entire State of Texas. I couldn't blame it on individual agents, but State Farm. I called her to help me reduce my premium and I was happy for a while.
