I expect healthcare professionals--whether doctors or staff--to have compassion and care, but instead, all I've encountered is rude, unprofessional behavior. Sometimes I wonder why I'm treated this way--do I really seem that naive or stupid? But after reading other reviews, I realized I'm not alone in feeling this way. Let's talk about appointments. Is it normal for a doctor's office to never answer the phone? Even the designated texting number for appointments doesn't work. I've tried texting, but no one ever responds. So, am I supposed to physically go there just to make an appointment? Imagine living far away and having a busy schedule--how is that even feasible? There was a young girl, who I believe is a newbie MA, and she was trying to draw my blood. She seemed really nervous about it, and honestly, I could tell something wasn't right. As I watched her, she actually yelled at me to look away, saying that if I was looking at her, she couldn't focus. I asked to have someone else do it, of course she gave me a rude attitude and walked away grumpily. It was such an unprofessional and uncomfortable experience. There're a lots problem for me with this office during the time I were patients here but the last visit was the final straw for me. I went in, polite as can be, to ask about my blood results and to request a copy of my chest X-ray. The receptionist barely acknowledged me and acted so condescending. When I asked about the blood results, she just muttered, "Normal," without even looking at me. It was shocking how rude she was. I've since moved myself and my family to another clinic, and I've been telling everyone I know to do the same if they're experiencing the same frustrations. I've even helped some people switch doctors. This place has been the worst experience for me, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Please, avoid this office if you can and find a better option! Extremely poor customer service, unprofessional and uneducated medical assistants, and rude behavior from both the doctor and staff. I know the office staff probably never reads feedback, which is why they continue to operate this way after so long. But I hope my review helps others who are looking for a family doctor and steer clear of this place :)

Well she couldn't find the right pieces to draw my blood because all of the equipment in that office is out of date and a mess. After trying once she came and got him. Talking to her like she was a complete imbecile, he proceeded to first say I needed to "lie down, because you can't hit a moving target" and said "i am a hard stick" his reply was (laughing) "your not a hard stick, your chubby". I held my tongue. She looked horrified. Then he went around to the other side and found the biggest needle he could find and jammed it in my hand and fished around. It hurt. He then tells me this is why I am always in pain because i have no pain tolerance. So while he is looking for a vein he throws in there "you have small veins because you have never worked out a day in your life and have always sat around". I lost it at that point. " excuse me, I have not always been overweight and yes I have exercised, you don't know me?! I have been a hard stick my whole life" I cannot believe I was able to hold what composure I had. He continued to talk to her like she was incompetent and talking to me like it was my fault he couldn't draw blood and how I needed "gastric bypass" surgery. This man wasn't fat shaming me for any other reason than spite. He was lashing out at both myself and his poor employee just to prove the point that he is a arrogant waste of skin. "DO NO HARM" If he was a thorough doctor he would also know that I have depressive episodes that last years, anxiety attacks that have cost me jobs and a history of eating disorders. Thankfully I am strong right now but what he said to me could have easily pushed me over the edge back into a depression, back into bulimia or even worse. Oh yah and the reason he was checking my thyroid was because he prescribed me thyroid medication specifically for weight loss without ever checking my thyroid before giving me the medication. She takes time to hear out any concerns you or the patient may have and does a thorough examination in order to address those concerns. Dr. Cheffet is also very knowledgeable in sports medicine, although, she is not a sports doctor, she does know what she is talking about. She also is an Internal Medicine doctor. So, if you are looking for a doctor, come see her, she is awesome! Dr. Cheffet is no longer at this practice, but I hear she has relocated to another one still in town.
