On the day I was leaving for my vendor exhibit, I opened the banner to learn instead of teale green and a dark scarlet color, they had printed the logo in bright blue and bright red. I called the store to adv ise and was told their Canva can't match my colors. They could NOT match my colors. The woman there told me they could give me credit when I returned from my show. I went to my vendor show and today went into store to get my "credit". I spoke with the Print Manager at the Dickson, Tn store. He advised me they could only give me store credit. I need the money to pay someone else to print this banner. The print Mgr advised, I had waited too long to return the item so, I could only get store credit. I walked out! Be careful when getting professional print work done at this store. You may not get what you ordered and may have to unapologetically be expected to pay for their mistake.

Staff were around, but I never interacted with any of them. It's crazy to me that back-to-school promotions have already started. Maybe there are year-round semesters here? My grad school started in mid-August for the fall semester, so maybe it's not wacky. The clearance section is small. It's in the left back corner of the store. There were some nice tumblers, but I have enough of them! The washrooms are at the back of the store. The women's was clean and nicely stocked. I like looking at rolling computer bags. There were a couple that were on sale, but they are all black and boring. I enjoyed looking at the brush and calligraphy pens, too. It was nice to browse around. I stopped by in search of a drafting chair due to a higher than average desk I have at home. There were not many employees on the floor, so I was not able to get assistance in my search until I went to the register and spoke to the cashier. The cashier was super friendly and helpful. He offered to look up locations that may have them around the area, as drafting chairs were only carried at specialty locations or online. I wasn't that pressed, so I just asked for the location details. In addition to that information, he also offered other solutions for taller desks such as mountable keyboard drawers and trays. Sadly they did not carry those either, but it did give me good idea for a cheaper alternative. Overall, the location is dated and in need of an update, but the shelves are stocked and the service was top notch!

I continually said no, because I have a printer. He also pestered me about some odd phone screen saver. After I said no about a few times, he altogether ceased "helping" me, walked away, and proceeded to ignore me. I was comepletely offended and disatisfied. I've never been treated so badly by an employee, let alone tormented by a manager. I'm extremely disappointed in what Staples has become in the past several months. The store itself has become dilapdated, and to be frank, trash. I will take my business to Office Depot thanks to this egregious excuse of a manager.

Set them on the counter and after a few minutes they realize theres a customer and one walks over. Asks me what im shipping. I told him a test set. He stated it probably has batteries we aren't shipping that. Seemed he didnt want to work. Told him no batteries. He asked whats it worth, i assumed for insurance, i said $5k. He said "nope cant ship it" i showed him 6 labels including the one where it was shipped to me. At this point i was frustrated and was starting to believe the incompetence was malice. I called my warehouse and got permission to ship without insurance. Asked for a mgr. He came to the desk i told him i didnt need insurance and the value was $1. He said "no we arent shipping it because you said $5k first" then sarcastically grinned at me and said..."have a blessed day" i responded with "shut up" -not a proud moment but he caused me an extra 40 minutes of driving and i was catching a plane. He then proceeded to not follow instructions I specifically stated and he made too many copies After telling him I only needed 1 copy of those documents he took them off the bill and said no problem he will shred them. Well they ended up in a garbage can to be shredded but not shredded. I am not happy with leaving my personal documents not shredded, had i know they weren't being shredded I would have paid for them and shredded them myself. Welp manager is going to get them out of the garbage can having to cut the lock. Too bad my personal stuff it needed to be shredded like he said he would do. Watch your words if you aren't shredding them dont tell customers you are. Not happy. Print shop guy is very wreckless. I haven't been here in a long time because last time I came I vowed to not go back anytime soon because of him. And now manager has to cut the lock to get my unshredded documents . Ridiculous. Don't say untruths. If you're not shredding documents say you'll put them in the bin for shredding. And listen to the customer.
