I have had viruses removed, two downloaded songs that failed to post, general cleaning of the system, and windows 11 installed. Very professional and I get my laptop back the same day. Very rare that they will have to keep my laptop longer, but if that happens, I always get a call to let me know that it's taking longer than expected. He resurrected what I thought was a dead computer, came the same day to pick it up, and had it back to me a couple days later, for less than half the price of a new computer and running four times as fast. He worked on my iPad and sold me a new cover which he had in stock for about 75 percent less than a major electronic store. He came out to my house today to install a WiFi extender, and when here helped me with a couple of other issues (as I am technologically challenged). Capital City was recommended by a neighbor since they fixed her PC for her, her repair was quick and less $$ than she was quoted. So when my daughter needed a new battery for her Mac laptop I told her to give them a try. They replaced the battery quickly and she didn't have to deal with going to the Apple store. The next day I encouraged my husband to take in his laptop that had blown speaker and they replaced it the same day at a fair price. The building may be small and unassuming but they have a repair team upstairs that will get right on your problem and it seems they can handle a multitude of repair issues. They got back to me with a quote almost immediately, and had it installed and ready to pick up the next business day (and I didn't ask/pay for rush work). Excellent service. Suffered a power surge that wiped out my motherboard on a custom built computer. Was going through a nightmare experience with Computer House (Jefferson Street). After 2 weeks of getting absolutely nowhere with Computer House and dealing with their endless lies, finally took it to Capital City. I expressed how stressed I was that my work computer was constantly being ignored and that I was constantly getting lied to at the other store. I knew I just had a motherboard issue, but Capital City convinced me to run their diagnostics just incase. I was worried this was going to be another 2-3 days added on to the 2 weeks of nothing that Computer House did and then we'll still have to go look for parts. I literally got a phone call within 2 hours of dropping off my computer with full diagnostics. They found a motherboard replacement immediately, and I was so pleased with how quick the response was that I asked to get the processor and the RAM upgraded while they had it. They order those parts and I had my computer back in less than 2 days and it runs amazing now. I am BEYOND happy with the work and the speed that Capital City worked.
