Great place for your glass or mirror needs. Woke up on Thursday to a broken passenger rear view mirror. My mom and i looked around all day for a place to go get it fixed and called around one of the companies we called was a glass place and they recommended going to Scott's auto glass. Scott's auto glass had an appointment open on Saturday between 10-1pm. I was able to send them pictures of the part I needed and they gave me a quote of $90 which beat the competitors quotes. The guy came around 11:20am greeted us. He was prompted and courteous had all the parts we needed. Did the job in under 20 minutes. Was able to write them a check as well. Do not use Scott's Mobile Glass! Hands down worst service I've ever had. I needed to have one of my windows replaced after my car was broken into, and was referred to Scott's glass by an autobody shop. I compared the price to Safelite and decided to go with Scott's because it was $40 cheaper.... BIG mistake. They repaired my window incorrectly and it was letting air in as I was driving so they needed to come out to replace it. It look SIX appointments before it was fixed properly.... once to put the new window in, once to try to fix it, the last time when they actually fixed it, one appointment they canceled 2 hours before the appointment time (which was fine, I understand that things happen) and TWO appointments they completely no showed with no call. Never did they apologize for no showing or the hassle. After they no showed the last time I left a message asking for the owner to call me back and nobody ever got back to me. I had to contact the Better Business Bureau to get the issue resolved. In addition, the girl (Trina) who answers the phone is incredibly rude. I've never experienced such terrible and inexperienced customer service. Side note- the receptionists are the owner's daughters.... explains a lot about their lack of tact and why they clearly aren't worried about keeping their jobs. Another side note- the guy that fixed my window was actually the owner... pretty bad that the owner messed it up. Overall, if you're looking for mobile glass repair, go with Safelite... it's slightly more expensive but completely worth it... unless you feel like taking 6 afternoons off of work and dealing with total incompetence. I should have listened to the local VW car dealership and stayed away from this mobile service. Instead I choose to go with the place that was first available to do the work on a mobile basis. Guess what. The window was not installed properly. I could hear wind on in the cabin at freeway speeds. - minus 1 star So I called them back to redo the work. They gave me a hassle and told me that it should go away and that it could just be my car because "Jettas do that." - minus 1 stars I was not happy with the response and lack of follow up by the tech, so I call the Elk Grove office and left a message for the owner. NO return call. Beyond that the receptionist seemed to be aware that the owner was not interested in hearing my issues. - minus 1 star Finally I took that car into the dealership to get it fixed by a pro. I then called and asked if they would reimburse at least the labor that they charged to install (improperly install that is) the window. No return call and very rude phone etiquette. Not sure how they stay in business with ethics like this. minus 1 star I think mobile is shorthand for no storefront...no accountability. My car was broken into and I was obviously in a huge panic! I called to get an estimate on Friday afternoon and spoke with Tiffany! She gave me an estimate and informed me that they wouldn't have availability until Tuesday. I informed her that I was a commuter and needed it done that day or Saturday and thanked her for her time and told her I would keep them in mind. She was super attentive and then told me she would call the boss and see if she could get me squeezed in for the following day. She called me back within minutes to give me a full estimate and informed me that they would be able to squeeze me in between 12pm and 3pm! Saturday around 2:30, Cory showed up! He was super professional and quick with his work. My windows were taken care of quickly and they came all the way out to Wilton to do the replacement! I had Scotts Mobile Glass come to my house to replace back glass of my Expedition 1/4/2017. I was asked if there was a garage that the vehicle could be put into if it was raining at the time they showed up at the house. Since it was raining at the time they showed up I backed my Expedition into the garage so as the tech would not get wet. My mistake......A day after the repair was done I was in the garage and noticed a lot of stuff was missing. I called the company and requested to speak to the owner but only spoke to the lady answering the phone. She asked what was this regarding and I told her that items were missing from my garage. She answered quickly and defensively that ---- did not have any of those items. I was expecting a call from the owner but to this day I have not received a call from SCOTTS MOBILE GLASS regarding this matter. I hired them to fix a windshield chip that was smaller than a dime. After the repair I drive to work. After leaving work 8 hours later there was a two foot crack across my windshield coming directly off the chip the technician worked on. The technician aggravated rather than fixed the problem. After calling them about the damage they did to my windshield, they refunded me my $65, but refused to offer any compensation towards the $700 windshield replacement I had to do because of their shotty work. If I could give no stars I would! Horrible customer service! Had my windshield replaced at a local auto collision shop in Sacramento that used Scott's Mobile to do the new windshield beginning of last month (July 2012). As soon as we started having warm weather the rear view mirror would wobble due to it was detaching from the windshield. Finally the mirror fell off and I contacted (Weds) the auto collision shop that then contacted Scott's Mobile to repair the mirror. I was called back that same day after 5pm in which I was unable to speak to anyone because they were already closed (5pm). I left a message that night and asked for a call back in the morning (Thurs). By 1pm Thurs and no return call I call them again and was told by the receptionist "I got your message but didn't have a chance to call you back". I was then told they could come out either next week or try for Friday. I asked for Friday. Receptionist then said they will call me on Friday when they arrive in the parking lot so I could drive my vehicle out of the parking gargage and meet them in the outside parking lot (per my suggestion). Friday comes along and I get a call at 11:58am stating on my voicemail that "I'm outside and will wait for a few minutes". I returned the call at 12:06pm (8 mins later) and I got his voicemail. NO return call for the rest of the day. I called the office when I got off of work and told the receptionist about the call and how I got no return callback and that I was disappointed because now its been three days and her response was "I told you they would call you when there were outside your office!". I told her how I could not believe that the repair guy waited a few minutes then left and got to another job within that 8 mins. so he was unable to take my call. The perception was that he took off after waiting for a few minutes then was getting my call but didn't want to turn around so he let my call go to voicemail. Her response was "WOW" in an obnoxious way as if she could not believe that was my perception. This now pissed me off so I responsed back with "Excuse me? I didn't get a call in the morning letting me know what time frame they would be coming over. I work in the medical field and have patients and then less than 10 mins he's gone. I just buy some glue and fix it myself and I'll just call the auto collision shop back and let them know about your horrible customer service and I hope they don't refer other customers to you". Not phased by this comment the receptionist said "Okay" again in an obnoxious and uncaring tone. I had two cars with cracked windshields. Scott's replaced both of them and I could not be happier. When they arrived this morning, it turned out that one of the replacement windshields was chipped in transit so they had to get a second one. They got the new one and replaced it the same day. It was so convenient that they came to my house which saved me a lot of time and trouble. I compared prices before going with Scott's. Their price for my Baja was $230. The other guys were $283 and $321. Trina was very business-like on the phone and friendly in person. She called about 30 min. before they arrived to let me know, and then they arrived right on time. She and her co-worker were obviously very experienced and knowledgeable. Best of all, they have a lifetime guarantee on the new windshields. I read a couple of low reviews here and can't understand. My experience could not have been better. Trina was pleasant to deal with over the phone and called me to give me a more precise ETA for Scott. Scott came with a younger guy. Could not have asked for nicer nor more competent guys. Old windshield out and new one in in less than an hour. Took great care not to damage or get dirt on my sportscar. Left it as good as new. Little extras count too. I asked him about a spray foam product they used to clean the windshield. Scott told me about it and when I asked where to buy it he just went to his truck and gave me a fresh can. read more

Caution. This is a scam operation! They will repair a chip for only 55-60 dollars but they know it won't work and their plan is to get you to buy a new window after it cracks. They use the words "preventative measure" but Scott told me that 99 percent of the time it doesn't crack further. It wasn't 10 hours later and I needed an entirely new windshield. They were unavailable as it was a holiday and they took multiple days because I guess repairing glass is hard work and they require many days off, but I had to go elsewhere to get the windshield replaced. Because I couldn't use their services I asked for refund of my 60.00 and was treated terribly. She was so rude (as a previous reviewer stated) and told My husband and I we knew nothing. She hung up after saying " we did our job" she wouldn't even let us express our displeasure! I've been in customer service for years and have never encountered this! It is nothing less than " gouging" in its traditional sense. Please go to anywhere else and don't be scammed! I would pursue this with a lawsuit if it wasn't such a small amount.
