I stopped by here earlier today with my wife for some evening drinks. We were in Cape Coral on vacation whenever I fired up Yelp looking for a brewery and found Scotty's Bierworks. It's located in an Industrial area with a strip mall like vibe. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and window near some of the indoor seating where you can see the brewery itself. Lastly they also had a food truck there the night that we visited but we had already eaten prior to visiting. As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery, I decided to go with a flight here. At Scotty's that consists of 4 pours and I chose the creamsicle fruited ale, pineapple pale ale, double IPA and Hazy IPA. I started off with the Creamsicle fruited ale which had a slight sourness on the nose and a light taste of orange which was pleasant before a clean finish. Second was the Pineapple pale ale which smelled a little of pineapple and starts off with a bit of sweetness from the fruit before ending in the hoppy flavor of a pale ale. Up third was the Hazy IPA which had a nose full of hops. It was a nice beer though with a big juicy flavor and a clean finish. Last but certainly not least was the double IPA. It started off with a bit of sweetness and I kept waiting for the hops to hit but they didn't in the way I was expecting. On my second sip I was able to taste them but would liken them to a bass note in the background which was actually sort of nice. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. Scotty's had a nice sized beer list and I liked what I tried and would be interested in trying some more as well. read more

My 2nd visit in five years. Improved . . . And better ambience. Sat outside at their 9 rowsX 3 picnic tables with our own take out from Chipotle. Nice and breezy with numerous guests enjoying a summer evening. Had an American IPA- real good not too bitter. Asphalt still warm, but the beer was cold and tasty. Inside dining room and food truck here for all. Bar server offered suggestions & free tastings. His favorites: oatmeal porter & hazy IPA. I sampled the double IPA and American IPA. I'm not sure why it took me so long to check them out - probably their tucked away location. Hidden in an industrial park just by Del Prado and Pine Island, they're not out of the way, but if you aren't looking for them, you might miss them. We've been meaning to give them a try for a while, but just made it tonight. We were lured in by the daily specials (see their Facebook!)... The beers we tried rocked - the cream ale, the blonde ale, and the Irish red. 10/10, would have again! The cream ale was fabulous, and not as heavy as other creams I've tried. The blonde ale was refreshingly light while still flavourful. The Irish red ale was tasty, and not too dark. I can't wait to come back and explore their options more. read more

Wow, Mary our bartender was awesome. She was so incredibly welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable on their beers. The seating is kind of plain/bare bones, but we couldn't be happier with service and the beer. Between us, we tried 10 different beers and they were all really good. It seems like food is not really an option here but it didn't matter to us, we stopped here after dinner elsewhere. read more

We love going to the local breweries, they are usually so much fun and you always get a great beer. We stopped by Scotty's on a day they were having an event and it was so fun to have the live music, food trucks, games outside and just to see a bunch of people gathered together for beer. The staff was so patient with me asking all types of questions about their specific brews and they gave me great recommendations. Every brew I had was different and wonderful. Scotty's is local brewery in Cape Coral. The service is always friendly Scotty's has a nice family atmosphere. Scotty's beer selection covers most people's preferences from cider to stout and porters. On the other end of the spectrum Scotties hefeweizen is the best I have ever tasted try the American ale as well. Some of the specials Monday night is pizza night with a pint and Friday nights is food trucks. read more

I had 2 beer flights enjoyed both. There was a taco truck there which was fabulous. Was a trivia contest, but couldn't do it outside which is why this is not a 5 star. Came in for a few beers and was very happy with the selection. They had the "Get Fried" food truck outside which serves up top notch smash burgers. Service from both the brewery and food truck were excellent. Cool brewery style atmosphere with lots of outdoor seating. I will be back! read more

The food truck is amazing!!! One of the hardest things I have done ( may even be considered cruel ) was to eat the loaded fries in front of a friend on a strict keto diet who could not eat or drink here.... I may have to rethink my life choices but these fries are no regret! read more

Stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon. Low and behold, it was our lucky day to find we stopped in during happy hour which got us $2 off our beers. The place was pretty packs woth most inside tables taken woth the overflow crowd sitting outside. A food truck arrived, but I was stuffed, so did not eat from there. We ordered a double iPA as well as an Irish Red Ale. I enjoyed my double IPA and my friend enjoyed his Irish Red Ale. A decent little brewery worth checking out! Clean establishment, very friendly staff, delicious food truck outside (I don't think they're there every day, but they happened to be there on the Sunday I went). I got a flight with a few different things to try including: Hazy IPA, Blond Ale, Hefeweizen, and the Key Lime Cider Really loved the Hefeweizen and the Key Lime Cider. Other two were okay. I learned that the beers they offer don't change, so you pretty much know what you're getting when you go. Personally I like trying something different each time I go to a brewery, so this was a bit of a bummer for me. Whether it's something new that they've come up with, or some sort of limited seasonal special, I prefer change and variety! Regardless, I'd come back again and gladly sip on that cider. read more

I used to go there a lot, but the price has gone up a bit and I find it a lot cheaper to get my 6 pack of American IPA from Trader Joes for the same price as 1 beer here. Still a pretty nice place to visit though. read more

Scotty's Brewery is a great brewery! Their beer is no frills, no artificial flavor, no artificial color, GREAT quality beer. The taproom has a friendly staff, SCOTTY himself is present everyday! There's 15-18 original Scotty's Bierwerks drafts on tap everyday! They have flights and wine, too! And don't forget to grab a four pack of cans to-go before you leave. The Hazy IPA is TO DIE FOR! Definitely recommend!! There's usually a variety of food trucks with beer/food combo specials, as well as weekly events and live music on select days! They even have a party room you can rent for only $100 (+tax). The brewery in the back is an open space you can admire while playing a handful of games, like cornhole, darts, foozball, Jenga, etc! And there is always a ton of parking. They're entering into their 5th year of business March 2022! We're very excited to have Scotty's around for another 5 years and beyond! Heck yeah. read more

Nice place with a great beer selection. We went twice in one week! My favorite thing about this brewery is that they offer a variety of sizes (4oz, 8 oz, and 16 oz) and an IPA with a lower alcohol content - 6%. There's plenty of sitting area inside and outside, plus an oversized L-shaped bar. They offer complimentary popcorn and it's always fresh. There are a variety of food vendors, so you always have a choice. We were there on a Friday and tried the burrito truck. (Can't remember the name, but the burrito was fantastic!) Service is excellent. They also have a variety of games - corn hole, darts, beer pong, card games, etc. On Tuesdays they have a special - ladies get buy 1 get 1 free. That was a bonus! One thing I have to mention is that the lighting is a bit bright. I think, for a place like this, a dimmer lighting would be a better fit, it would make it more inviting and cozy. That's my 2 cents. Another brewery in Cape Coral? This is the best one yet. Their doors opened earlier this year, but it was my first time here. Located a very short distance off Pondella Rd not far from Pine Island Rd intersection. The place is modern, clean, and has a nice layout. Barstool or table options available. The brewing areas are open to the public and the brewing process can be observed twice a week. At the time of my visit, eight of their beers were currently on tap plus a couple guest items. I tried five of these with the Irish Red Ale being my favorite. All the brews had a clear, crisp, and tasty finish. Another plus is the 14 ounce glass is only $5 and a smaller size is available. Steins and Growlers can be purchased. American IPA, Red IPA, Bohemian Pilsner, and Hefeweizen were some of the other choices. Missing from the list were an Oatmeal stout and a Pale Ale which I often would choose. Free popcorn was flowing continuously. Dining options are out, but Wednesday's, Friday's, and Saturday's you can find food trucks in the front parking lot with different kinds of eating choices. Food may be brought inside to the seating area. There's a food truck schedule inside for info. People were raving about Barbecue Saturday's here. Wednesday is burger, fries, and a beer for $10. It was Friday so it was Hot Dogs and Bratwurst. Might be subject to change......check ahead. Service was excellent and knowledgeable about what they had to offer. Glad Scotty's is here!
