We were able to get reservations very easily, and the studio put together a large table for us to be able to talk and paint. It is eight dollars for just being in the studio plus the price of your item. The ceramics can cost anywhere from eight bucks to 100, depending on what you are wanting to design. A coffee cup was about $18-$20. They do put the item in a kiln and allow you to pick it up at your convenience within three months.

She could have kindly mentioned that these were not allowed (or better yet post a sign) We were ushered out of the store and shamed. I will not be shopping here in the future. Kindness goes a long way especially in this economy. So disappointed.

Better than anywhere I've seen. Everyone we met with was thoughtful and accommodating, especially with meetings, since my daughter was out of the country. The wedding was everything my daughter wanted and more. An unforgettable day for sure. The owner even went out of her way to make my daughter even happier, and it was truly appreciated. I bought it here and they made it for me and delivered it. I think anything with Amish in the title doubles the price. The indoor furniture looked nice .. don't know who made my swing but was not overly impressed. They used the wrong screws .. too long so my husband had to replace them. After just a few years there is rusty spots. Thing that really was aggravating is found stuff i like as well or better at traders world for 1/3 the cost and better made. The stuff at traders world in not in the main buildings... they are located in the outside barn area but are there all the time. I still like my swing i just think for what we paid it should have had no problems.

They delivered the table and hutch but brought the wrong chairs but brought the right chairs back the next week. This place is great: a huge selection of vibrant cotton fabrics all perfectly arranged by color value and theme. There's even a special little room where everything is discounted! This place is packed from front to back with some of the most gorgeous colors/designs you've ever seen and likely won't see elsewhere. On top of the amazing fabrics are the services: they will use a long-arm to quilt your sandwich (that makes perfect sense to quilters)! For a nominal fee based on size, you can flip through a BINDER filled with options, and the turn around time is great. If you need something quicker, just pay an extra fee to get bumped to the front of the line. These ladies have your back I've been there when it's slow )and just enjoyed chatting about my projects and perusing fabrics), and I've been there when it's jumping (they teach classes and have a lovely group of older ladies who giggle the place up as they work). The place is covered with amazing quilted projects/tapestries on the walls, and every time I visit I spend more than I should. I'm heading back out there this weekend to pick up a few quilting projects, so I'll be sure to attach pictures soon. In the meanwhile, treat yourself to a relaxing afternoon )whether you're a quilter or not), and just wander around this place so you can oooo and ahhhhh at all the pretty colors. Pro tip: Stitches is in the Glendale Pavilion, which is a series of quaint little shops and eateries. Build time in your schedule to wander around after visiting Stitches. Grab a lemon bar at the bakery around the corner (delicious), sip a glass of rosé at the wine bar (great service), or my personal favorite...stop in at Meritage for some of the most delectable food you've ever had. I'd recommend the scallops. P.S. if you were a Joann's devotee, you'll likely notice the prices are a touch higher here at Stitches, BUT keep in mind this is not a chain, it is independently owned, and these ladies sources their own fabrics quite deliberately.

It's a one-stop location for wedding planning, rentals, vendors and a gift shop too. I first found out about it when owner, Karen, opened a second-floor meeting space after-hours to our local Bible study group a couple months before COVID began. Karen did this after simply striking up a conversation with one of our Bible study members who was shopping at her place. She is amazingly generous, and has created a beautiful space. I wish I'd had a one-stop location with a bit of human guidance, versus my web browser, when I was a stressed bride to be. Because The Wedding Place houses various vendors in its one space, a bride can look at invitations, check out availability of rental items, look at veils (a veil/headpiece shop is within the space, along with an invitation/stationary shop and a gift shop), and can arrange just about anything needed for a wedding, from flowers to a cake. The first floor houses the gift shop, offering presents for showers, bridesmaids or even yourself (candles, albums, wreaths, pillows and tons more). Some are handmade; some vintage and many can be personalized.

Jaclyn, the owner, was so helpful and friendly. She did a great job coaching us on how to mix the scents and how to pour the wax. They offer unique vessels to your pour your candle (and that will look great on a shelf after the candle is gone!). There were so many choices of scents to pick from. I went with pumpkin soufflé & campfire marshmallow. My husband and I did this as our 16 year wedding anniversary since the traditional gift is wax! Also, next door is Aglamesis Brothers ice cream so it makes for the best date night (or day date) spot!

This little shop is located in the 'uptown' area of Oxford, where all the other shops and restaurants are. First you walk into the small shop and see the walls lined with pottery. There are pieces mixed in that are already pre-made, these are nice because they give you some ideas and show you what the finished product looks like. There are a variety of different pottery pieces to choose from. Some of the finished items didn't have a corresponding pottery item to paint on. This may have been because it was family weekend and they were especially busy, regardless I was a little disappointed that I couldn't find exactly what I wanted. Tables are set up, and if you make a reservation, they will have table laid for your name written on the paper covering it. There are tips on the tables if you are new to this. But other than that..it's just paint away at your own discretion. It's a fun experience if you are with a good group of people. I could see how it would also be a calming and even therapeutic experience if you go on your own. They do let you bring your own drinks and provide cups to drink out of. We brought a bottle of wine. Also keep in mind that it takes 7 days for your piece to be ready, so if you don't live in the area you will want someone that can pick it up for you. They do offer shipping though.
