I apparently "took up 2 parking spots" (of 3 or 5), was referred to as "one of those Christmas people" looking to repair or replace an item and was asked "Where did you get that, a garage sale"? At that point, I was happy to leave with the ceramic base and light kit and although firing the base is included in the price "after Christmas", of course, I will instead visit a different store to complete the project. What a shame - I had hoped to revisit this store and begin additional ceramics projects here due to the proximity to my home and my interest in rekindling interest in ceramics since my recent retirement after a 40-year corporate career. The cooler. I didn't even notice it until we were wrapping up, and I was definitely ready for some water by then. If that's for guests, just say that upfront. The legs were contemporary, which is not my style at all, but this piece is one I really think I could work in with existing decor. Who says things have to match anymore anyway? I felt the pricing on the side table was extremely reasonable given the size it was and quality. Actually, nothing in the shop was overly priced, in my opinion. The dining tables, sofa or coffee tables were just fabulous. The shop owner showed me many of the items they were also creating in shop. Her dad seems to be a talented Artisan himself and his daughter is sharing his passion by learning the craft herself. A Jewelry display made for the store, was just beautiful. I asked if custom orders were considered in a larger size and she said a number of people have brought in a picture of what they have in mind and Artisanat has made it for the customer.
