Quality Fruit and Nursery

I came here in on a soil run. I needed some potting soil I came to buy 3 bags since I know I'll need more later this year. I usually just get the bags then go inside and pay but this time I went inside first. I was met by the guy here, I'm guessing the owner. I've never really conversed much in my previous visits, I just bought what I needed and left so I never met anybody. Anyway, they had some fresh fruit in styrofoam cups on the counter and I was asking about them while buying my soil so he let me try some. Everything tasted great & fresh so I decided to buy a cup of blackberries. Paid for my soil & blackberries. He did something strange. He poured my blackberries out of the cup and into a thin plastic bag with nothing else protecting them. I was concerned but didn't ask which I regret because sure enough, some of them got mushed otw home because they were just in a thin bag on my seat. Even from the grocery stores they come in a container. Then after I paid and was on my way out, he said "I'll go get the bags you need. Just backup and I'll load them." I thought that was weird because I didn't ask for help getting my soil and have always gotten them myself all the past times I've been here. But I'm generally not a confrontational person so I just left it alone. Sure enough, he gave me the worse bag he could find on their pallet just to get rid of them. Two of the bags of soil got some green stuff at the bottom like they been sitting there way too long and one of the other bags was busted open and spilling dirt by time I made it home. These are bags I probably wouldn't have grabbed myself so I'm sure he was happy to "unload" them on somebody. I don't like dealing with aggressive people and though I used to frequent here and live relatively close by, I'm not sure I'll return. They may have just lost a return customer.

First I agree with all the other reviews of how rude the owner of the shop, I am white but I'm also female.He has a big sign on the front of how Christian he is and no cussing in his shop but yet he knowingly is taking stolen goods in his shop and when I ask he will tell you he doesn't have them. I found the pawn ticket from the person who stole it for me and took it in and ask him if he had it now he told me he couldn't find the ticket on it. When his other person I'm assuming was his brother took over he found the tickets he found my stuffAnd gave them back to me for the pawned price.He has known the guy that took the items for 20 years he also knows that he has shot himself in the head and has mental issues from the ordeal that he is homeless and that he has no access to wedding bands and other female rings but took them anyway and lied when I asked if he had them. I didn't have a problem with him I just wanted my stuff backUntil I went in there and he was so defensive because he knew he was wrong and he knew he took them knowing they were stolen. What's the most sickening is putting signs out on your door like you were A God-fearing Christian while you're taking stolen goods and lying to people and being a rude ass old man when confronted. My brother and I went to the shop to look at guns and immediately were greeted by the owner. What a fantastic, fun experience we had. He has a wonderful sense of humor and kept us laughing the entire time. We selected and purchased a pistol. While preparing the handgun forms, my brother noticed something a little wrong with the pistol. The owner's son asked to look at it and sure enough, it had a small flaw. The owner immediately offered to refund our money. There was another pistol nearly identical so we purchased that one We really appreciate he and his son's honesty and integrity during our experience. Sadly, you don't find that too much anymore. On an extra note, he gave us $10.00 to treat us to a milkshake at a nearby hamburger place! That was before we decided on any purchase all! Now that, my friends, is a fine merchant! Mr. James T. I don't know who the old man was that waited on you but he certainly wasn't one of the owners because they aren't like that. I am a person of color and I have always been treated with kindness and great respect from the first time I started doing business with them which was about 7 years ago. Their prices are very fair. This is a family own business and the old man that waited on you must have call his self helping out. You should write the owners and let them know about the horrible service you receive from this guy and I'm sure they will address the matter immediately. read more

Got a pawn on my iPad at this location for a medical emergency and I logged out of my iCloud account with the woman associate before she closed my iPad case and gave me my ticket. Fast forward to not even 2 weeks later when I went to redeem my item and when I got home and turned it on for the first time after picking it up my iPad was restored to factory settings. I contacted the store immediately after turning it on, before I even had to set it back up again, and the manager accused and stated that I was lying and refused to take accountability for his business or employees not following their business standards. He then disrespected me even further by saying if I "got an official letterhead from Apple stating it was restored while in their possession" he would return the $20 interest I paid. $20 DOESNT RESTORE OR MAKE UP FOR EVERYTHING THEY LOST/COST ME. I unfortunately did not have any backups available so I lost pictures of my kids, purchases, journals, planners, etc. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE YOUR POSSESSIONS. They have been reported to the Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner (OCCC) and I will make sure the owner is held responsible.
