My friend picked up an Elvis doll and my other friend picked up a vintage Barbie doll. So many cool finds. You really need to look around as they have newer stuff and old vintage finds. Whoever buys for Anastacia's really has a good eye for antiques. The stuff they have here is really rare and unique. Pieces can trend toward the more expensive side; however, deals are to be found, and while we were there, there was a 30% off sale. The staff are friendly, and my transaction is quick and efficient. While on site, I purchased several wine bottle snuggies that were styled after Chinese-style clothing. They were $3.50 each--a bargain. They'll come in handy when I take wine or other such bottles to social gatherings in the future. Overall, a great experience. Amex is accepted here.

I wanted to bring back a souvenir from this store and asked how much a lamp was. The owner who is extremely nice stated this lamp was in the asylum when it was open and may be carrying some spirits with it lol. She said something of the sort, I am taking some liberties. Anyway, suffice to say I did not buy the lamp but a glass art piece for less then ten dollars to show my support for such a rare and interesting store. It was at the top of my list of places to check out this trip. I promised that I would buy just one thing, because if I didn't stick to my guns, I would have spent hundreds of dollars. It was so difficult to choose. I made three laps around the store before I discovered "Dancing Shiva." " This cosmic dance of Shiva is called 'Anandatandava,' meaning the Dance of Bliss, and symbolizes the cosmic cycles of creation and destruction, as well as the daily rhythm of birth and death.
