across the street is the new location (still building it).. Looks great from here and included a greenhouse.

I am sure this place will get an extra star or two once the new building/location is updated. We've been using this Nursery for years. - Customer service is great - Staff is knowledgeable. - prices are great (even cheaper then Home Depot on plants). We purchased plants, rocks, mulch plus so much more. They deliver for a small fee. There is a large selection of items to purchase. I'm glad they erected a new building and greenhouse and can't wait until it's finished. The building they currently have is run down and there a ton of weed growing out of the grown in the area where customers need to shop for plants. Parking is minimal in the gravel/dirt type small lot. Will I be back? Yes.

Greeted with this picturesque scene upon arrival.

They have what you need and want. The people are honest and won't sell you stuff just to sell stuff. The prices are not bad either.

I feel ripped off. Poor quality trees installed which died. Attempts to contact them to resolve were ignored. Never again.

They have a great selection of starter plants and very friendly people working there (plus a cute cat that seems to own the place)

Over the decades I had…read moreheard about a florist, a greenhouse in the cemetery and had thought it was just part of their operations. Then, a few years ago, FDC heard that they sold beautiful Christmas wreaths and such. Still, we never went to check it out ... until yesterday. I decided on my way back from Lansdowne to turn left and see. I'm so glad I did. This is a beautiful old greenhouse, slightly leaky in the rain, and even on a dreary day it was beautiful in an unpretentious way. I was greeted warmly, where they apologized for the puddles and gave me a quick layout - perennials here, succulents and potted plants there, fairy gardens, and perennials out back. There was so much color! I took my time, looking at the vegetable plants and petunias and aloe. Everything was so healthy and, well, green. There were touches of whimsy, fun little scenes along one wall of the greenhouses, including one of Excalibur. Love it! I found a nice spider plant, just the right size for my living room shelves, and some gorgeous double bloom geraniums for my front pots. As for the cost? Really reasonable. The geraniums were $6, and the potted spider plant was $19. Pretty good deal! Parking is along the cemetery lane, please park along one side so others can pass by. As it has started to rain more heavily I didn't see the perennials & shrubbery. I'll definitely be back.

My garden beds and yard were already at capacity, but I still found an excuse to buy more when I saw their selection. Strong plants, well tended and a much larger variety than I expected. Their pricing was very fair, especially for the condition of the plants. Inside the greenhouse was just as great, with funky garden art and plenty of annuals and supplies. The guy who checked me out was so easy and friendly, even helped me to my car. I love to support independent businesses like this, and can't wait to go back in a few weeks to load up for spring.

Good evening. I am not sure if this is the correct place to offer my experience at the Upper Darby…read moreHome Depot. ... I'll get straight to it: I bought a "dog ear" fence panel, but I needed it cut to take home. I bought my own tools but the blade broke so I took the panel inside to the deck department. That is where I met a young man named (Kaylay). I really hope I spelled his name correctly. He had just finished with another customer and he turned and saw my fullishmess. He smiled and said that the power tool would not work, but he found a nice saw that worked. It took us a few minutes to cut through the wet wood, but I struck up a conversation and come to find out he goes to my alma-mater. We talked about customer service and he had such a positive attitude about life and working for Home Depot. After he took care of me, another customer was waiting for a cut. I tried to tip him, but he refused "with gratitude"... If there ever was any person I would recommend for employee of the month, it would be Kaylay..... If there is any tuition reimbursement or scholarships, please consider him. He used problem solving skills to figure out my issue. I know this is a long review, but he deserves it. In today's climate, it's rare to find a young man with a pleasant continence and willing to go above and beyond. Oh yeah, I'm a disabled combat veteran and the veteran discount was an amazing addition. Thank you again, please reach out if you have any questions. Kaylay is his name... African American Male, brown line rim glasses, small afro, and beard... Thank you again. My name is Rev Dr Tracy G Mallory.
