When my husband retrieved him, they had completely shaved all of his hair except his head. He looks completely ridiculous. He went in looking like a show dog and came home looking like an alien. The next day I combed out his beard. The one thing they did do was his nails. Except now he won't allow us to touch his paws. That typically means there was likely trauma involved. We fully know that his coat is thick and somewhat wooly, but it brushes and combs out without huge effort, some effort, but not extraordinary and he enjoys being brushed and combed. They should have phoned us before shaving him. The difference of how he looked before they "groomed" him is earth shattering. Now our beautiful boy isn't so beautiful.

We have used this place once before and had no problems but after today, I will no longer patronize this business. Now I don't normally write reviews unless they are positive due to the fact I have worked in retail and reviews can affect the business, however, in this case, this was just a very disgusting and disturbing experience. Our 1-year-old Shih Tzu (Benji) needed to be groomed and it had been a while since he was last cut so he was a bit matted but nothing crazy. Upon my mother-in-law bringing Benji to be groomed, the experience took a turn. I don't have the woman's name but it was a "portly woman" who handled or should I say mishandled the situation. She accused us of neglecting Benji (mind you he was not underweight and was a happy and bubbly good boy!) and suggesting that he had Parvo, (by the way she's not a vet) so suggesting something like that you should have proof considering it is a terrible infection usually found in younger puppies from my understanding. When my mother-in-law heard this she decided she didn't want to do business so she requested our baby back. The lady refused and said that she had every right to withhold him and that the only way that we could get Benji back was to call the police. My MIL did stop at the animal shelter first to confirm and they told her to go get the police as she was not legally able to do that and that is exactly what we did, we contacted Richmond County Sheriff dept and had a deputy go speak with her to have our Benji released. FYI she had no legal right to do so and was told to release our baby back to us. The biggest thing about this is she didn't tell the complete truth about the situation and tried to make it seem like it was just a big misunderstanding. As if that wasn't enough, she had the audacity, to say that he hadn't been groomed and asked if we wanted her to do so. Short of the long look elsewhere for dog grooming services, because if she did this to us I am sure this isn't the first nor the last. Signed a Very Disappointed and Disgusted former patron.

She can administer some medications, vaccines, antibiotics, etc. Her rich knowledge base will help you decide if a vet visit is necessary or advisable. Her adoption cats are well taken care of. If issues arise with one her animals, she will always respond appropriately, either taking care of the issue herself or referring you to a Veterinarian. Her charges are basically her costs. She doesn't try to profit. She helps cats & owners, pure & simple. If you love your cats but have a budget, she is amazing at helping maintain your cat's good health without breaking the bank. Folks in the C.B. area are extremely fortunate to have her!

She has special accommodations for nursing moms and their kittens. Despite the number of cats in her house, it is clean and everybody is well taken care of. Wendy is well organized with her paperwork and adoption records. The reason we chose one of Wendy's cats was that she has her cats socialized to dogs, which we also have. We are grateful to have Fedya; he came from some bad circumstances and Wendy nursed him back to health.

Bert and Ernie I…read morepurchased a bonded pair of Lilac point Siamese kittens from different litters from Blue Eyes Cattery. Bert and Ernie are wonderful kittens. Heather did a fantastic job ensuring they were ready for their new home. They are love bugs and gorgeous! I am very happy with Bert and Ernie. Heather was accommodating and she is a very nice lady who truly loves and cares about her cats and kittens.

I adoptEd a seal point sibling pair from Blue Eyes Cattery in February 2021. They both have been a…read moreconstant joy since. I named the pair Jack and Rose as in the couple from Titanic. The kittens were healthy and well socialized. They like to be held and even allow me to rub their belly. Both are lap cats and sleeping in the bed with me. They both follow me around the house. I taught Jack to fetch and he does it for praise not even treats! Rose is such a love bug. Both cats know their names and come when called. Sometimes I just look at Jack and he starts purring Blue eyes Cattery is a legitimate breeder. Heather has a real love for her kittens. This was my first time using a breeder and was nervous about it but Heather reassured me. She also gave me the time and space I needed because I had recently lost my cat of 6 years Suddenly. I was able to describe my relationship with my previous cat to Heather and she directed me to the seal point pair. She understands the personality of her kittens. Heather also does her research into your home to find the right match. I will make one final recommendation and that is to get a pair. I think it helps in the socialization and makes the transition easier for the kittens. Two is much more fun. Think of the kittens as the beginning of a lifelong relationship.
