But with the holidays approaching I want to make sure that Sally's story is told before you make a decision to trust your dog with K-9 Divine. I typically don't write reviews--but this is serious and very hard. Nearly every time I booked Sally to stay at K-9 Divine, I made a special note reminding them that she hates the car. Nevertheless--according to what K-9 Divine told us--on Monday the 11th, as they were loading the dogs into the van to return home (I had just returned from my grandma's 96th birthday in Florida) the staff defied all of their own (and common sense) safety protocols and opened the garage door to the street while Sally was sitting in the garage, unleashed, untethered and unattended. In her effort to avoid the dreaded car trip, she ran out - right into the street where she was hit and killed by a passing car. They admitted negligence and said it had never happened before. But it did happen, and it happened to the most important being in my life. Do not trust them with your dog. My vet, my family and friends share my shock and grief--I carefully chose K-9 Divine and thought it was a good fit for my social, loving, adorable Sally. Now she's gone. It's a living nightmare and my life's goal to prevent this from ever happening again. I imagine K-9 Divine will respond to this review by saying this tragedy will never happen again. From their promotional protocols, it never should have happened in the first place. No apology can make up for their negligence.

Our little cocker spaniel looked so handsome and he was happy, completely relaxed and not at all anxious. We have tried other groomers and he is usually very nervous during and after the grooming experience. As a result he would often have some uneven cuts and if not we would have complaints about him being wiggly or reports of him crying. When we arrived to pick up our pup from Rufflections he was happy, his tail was not tucked, he was wagging and completely relaxed! The groomer did an amazing job and not one issue with him being wiggly or crying! Tasha did an amazing job! We found our new place!

We trust her 100% for the care of our dogs when we travel. She plays with them and takes time to make sure they are comfortable. We have a lab with some anxiety issues and storms really frighten her. If we are out of town, Dee goes out of her way to make sure Brandy feels safe. I have never known another pet sitter to go so far above and beyond! Our dogs are always happy and healthy when we return, and she leaves little notes letting us know things they did each visit. Dee also helped us find an excellent training place that has helped steer us in the direction of therapy dog for our latest rescue. While he was in obedience training, Dee worked with him on his commands for us. If you live in Southern Maryland, they are the people to call for your pet sitting needs! I highly recommend them!!!!

All the dogs seemed healthy and happy and well taken care of. My dog is almost a year and a half old now and is completely healthy, at a good weight, and so far there are no problems. I would highly recommend this business. In fact, I have recommended a couple people to them already. Some of the older reviews say they only accept cash or check however we paid by debit card in 2024 so apparently that's a recent change. We got our questions answered easily before and after the transaction they've always seemed available by text if we had a question in the early puppy days since we didn't know what we were doing! If we ever decide on another golden retriever, I won't look anywhere else. Great place!

The staff was friendly and the price was right. They also offer exit baths and grooming for an extra charge. If you blink you will miss the turn. They are set back a bit but they have added signs to direct you to the location. We are very pleased and will definitely use them again. The only problem we had was that they only accept cash or check. We didn't know that beforehand so I had to run back out another 20 minutes to find an ATM. I didn't even think to ask that ahead of time because in this day in age you would think that everybody would accept a card. Knowing that next time we will bring cash! FYI if you pay with check it's more expensive so bring your cash.

Before the internet age, we learned of her by word-of- mouth. If you are not wealthy, she is the go-to person to find out if your pet needs a vet visit. She can administer some medications, vaccines, antibiotics, etc. Her rich knowledge base will help you decide if a vet visit is necessary or advisable. Her adoption cats are well taken care of. If issues arise with one her animals, she will always respond appropriately, either taking care of the issue herself or referring you to a Veterinarian. Her charges are basically her costs. She doesn't try to profit. She helps cats & owners, pure & simple. If you love your cats but have a budget, she is amazing at helping maintain your cat's good health without breaking the bank. Folks in the C.B. area are extremely fortunate to have her!

She has special accommodations for nursing moms and their kittens. Despite the number of cats in her house, it is clean and everybody is well taken care of. Wendy is well organized with her paperwork and adoption records. The reason we chose one of Wendy's cats was that she has her cats socialized to dogs, which we also have. We are grateful to have Fedya; he came from some bad circumstances and Wendy nursed him back to health.

Despite everything he seemed to be on the decline. I decided to look around for an in-home euthanasia service so that his passing could be as comfortable as possible and he could be with his family in case the worst was to become reality. When I spoke to Dr. Darnell on the phone I could immediately sense a great deal of compassion and empathy. She explained everything and answered all my questions. At this point we were hoping for a turn around and I could tell that really was too. Just talking to her on the phone that day gave me a sense of comfort. Cracker started to turn around and we began to see how old energetic self; he was wagging his tail and giving us kisses. We were so hopeful and optimistic, but a week later his heath rapidly declined and he died by my side with me rubbing his sweet head. :( Even though I didn't end up using her services, I will always remember the way my phone call with her made me feel. She's definitely one of the good ones.
