This place is packed, even on a Sunday night in winter in the quiet, peaceful Victor Harbor. With people drinking beers at the bar, old school 70s bands playing over the radio, or live (think Wendy Matthews and Rick Price - not the impersonators), to cramming in large tables of families inside the cafe and out, it has a buzz and atmosphere that is refreshing for this town. We ate the salmon pizza with a dill and caper mayo, the meat lovers and the vegetarian. The family sized are huge and probably 1 pizza between 2 is enough. I was so incredibly impressed with the pizzas though. A crispy base with medium crust, plenty of toppings and great, simple flavours that didn't get lost in too much cheese or tomato sauce base. Service is painfully slow. You have to go up to a packed bar to order everything and when the place is busy you can expect to wait up to 30 minutes for your food. But it makes a good excuse for tearing into a tasty pizza when it arrives.

A gem of a place and is firmly our favourite Chinese in Victor when next we come and stay next.

Infact the presentation of the food is deli like in a small window. They also sell unique food at high prices. Don't get me wrong nice stuff like vegan chocolate just very pricey. We ordered the fish cakes and soup (minestrone) which came with salad and garlic bread. Both meals were very nice (I am used to a big bowl of soup for 9.90) and my soup was quite small and sadly was mainly pasta and not much veg. But it was very tasty as was the garlic bread. The tuna cake was again a bit expensive for what it was but again very nice. The staff are lovely if a bit 'older' I definitely felt I was in an old persons town. The service was friendly as most small town restaurants service is but a tad slow. However as we wernt in a rush we didn't have a problem.
