So happy to see employees not only enjoying themselves at work but proper safety when handling food!? *chefs kiss* My partner has a service animal and every single time we have been in we are met with no difference in service here, truly makes me emotional! Just wanted to give a shout out to the staff that you are doing great! There is a never-ending amount of $hitty customers in this business, but the competence of the staff and proper handling all aspects of Screaming Bean shows! Keep it up! yall r doing amazing!

The place was very clean and welcoming. Hysterical bathroom signs! But I was there for the food right? So we had a brisket egg sandwich, simple bacon egg and cheese, and waffles. We got a side of bacon and tator tots. To start off the tator tots were under cooked and not good. The waffle was slightly over cooked but i ended up eating most of it the next day and it tasted fine. I cant say it was a plain waffle like the picture showed but maybe cinnamon? The egg sandwiches were uneven. What i mean is the meats, brisket and bacon, we're both hot and cold, hard and soft. They're not an even bite in regards to texture or taste. Overall it was still good but I wish I tried pastries instead. Maybe if we are there next time.

This is a small operation on Aberdeen Proving Ground…read more Service is friendly but the line moved a bit slow. This was during their soft opening so I expect it to improve over time. I imagine they may pick up additional staff if demand stays this high. The ambience is fine? It's nothing to write home about but the majority of people are just taking their lunch to go anyway. For the food - the flatbread pizzas are surprisingly good. I really enjoyed the panang curry, this will probably be my go to order. It has a pleasant but very mild spice level. I didn't think the Hainanese chicken and rice was worth it. Seemed like the chicken was boiled which is just not my cup of tea. It's a good option if you're looking for something very mild though. My friend wasn't impressed with the BBQ pork dish, and I'll have to go back for the chicken noodle and breakfast options. The summer roll seems pricey, but it's actually for two quite large rolls. Would be a nice light lunch in and of itself. The salads looked quite nice, there was a Caesar and a garden option. Chocolate croissant was good. Cake was solid. It's a bit pricey in my opinion, but we're fresh out of better options around here so they can mark up a bit, and you'll get a much better meal than at the subway across campus for about the same price. Overall, if you're at all adventurous in your cuisine, I recommend this place. And if you're not adventurous you can try their pizza :)

When we want to have great comfort food, we drive from Towson to Aberdeen to come to Mamie's Café…read more We know we will always be warmly greeted, get the best service, get the best comfort food, enjoy the decorations, and leave really happy that we came all that distance. That all happened today plus we wanted to introduce our friends to the restaurant. Olivia, our server, was the best. She had a fantastic personality and really made us feel so welcomed and at home. Brenda, you have a star here! We started off with an order of Fried Onion Rings. They were fried to perfection - were huge and were very tasty. Our friends ordered a Grilled Turkey Reuben on Rye Bread loaded with sliced turkey, sauerkraut, 1000 Island dressing, and melted Swiss cheese and a Mamie's Open Faced Hot Sandwich with a huge amount of fresh-baked Turkey Breast topped with gravy and another huge amount of mashed potatoes (check out the pictures). I enjoyed my favorite sandwich, which is Mamie's Favorite Triple Decker Shrimp Salad and Crab Cake Club with chips. My husband was taken aback with the size of his Country Fried Steak and mashed potatoes. Everyone had something to take home with them. The portions are more than generous. The one thing that Mamie's always does that makes them stand out from all the other restaurants is that they give you a free dessert. We were all so full, we took our to go. We took 2 rice puddings and 2 cinnamon cakes home to enjoy later. We had a great time a Mamie's!

Their decor is truly unique, and calling it eclectic isn't doing the interior justice. Every inch of Mamie's oozes Americana, and celebrates Aberdeen's past. Awesome photos, hilarious knick-knacks and items, and history is on full display. Loved their fun theme. Our meal was very good, and our server Tyler did a good job on an extremely busy night. My Meat Loaf meal was delicious, and the baked potato plus carrots were yummy. My dining partner loved her Stuffed Shrimp, potato salad, and beets.

To my surprise, there was a restaurant on the installation. This blew my mind because Army installations are notorious for unhealthy options that consist of selections such as burgers, fries, pizza, and wing. I was beyond excited to learn that this establishment is currently on the Army installation. They did not disappoint. I selected a veggie hummus wrap and green smoothie. The customer service was outstanding. You can tell that customer satisfaction is a priority with each person that we encountered. The manager Carmina came out to ensure that we okay. The entire crew was amazing. The facilities were clean and had a nice quiet atmosphere I also like that you may call in your order and pick it up. This is an ultimate plus on a military base with minimal selections to eat. Lunch time can get pretty hectic and busy. Pick up definitely helps alleviate this possible point of contention. This place has ample free parking, seating to eat in, and is located in the Post Exchange just in case you have to grab some other things. Thank you to management for bringing a more healthier option to eat to Aberdeen Proving Grounds.
